I've tried using all the texture maps but highest it'll just look like video games.
What am I not doing right?
These are some of my renders Ok. I discovered that sometimes using environment textures for lighting can make ur work look bland. Endeavour to add textures to your light sources. It enhances the quality of the light. I will provide a link to cinematic lighting that helped me. Also, the camera's focal length and sample of your light sources, matters. This is how a Philadelphian friend described Nigeria to me...
..,......................... Nothing was colorful and nothing was picturesque and nothing was quaint; all was black grimy wretchedness and foul stinking misery.
No one had expected that crime and violence, destitution and horribly degrading poverty would stare back at them with grinning toothless mouths and infernal gleaming eyes, like fantastical medieval emblems. The suppression of vice in a place where vice seemed the very foundation of life is tedious.
I had nearly fainted from the effluvia of the streets alone.

dasa: Hello,
if there is a commercial render farm in lagos will you patronize it? the total power will be 20 cpu's total of 32gb ram.
all 3d, composting, color correction applications and plugins will be installed. it will support both mac and pc.
this facility will drastically reduce render times for videos, animations, 3d models etc.
if this facility is available here in lagos. will you patronize it, and how much do you think will be an ideal price to pay per minute of rendered video.
i will appreciate your response. thanks Plz set it up.... My company will definitely. Maybe 30 per minute Most times I have at least 1500 frames to process. Imagine the money you'd make!! And make sure it supports Blender. This should be a given. If possible let ur farm support this three rendering engines: Cycles, Arnold and Octane |

Praivit0: I don't dabble into other books that aren't part of the 66books of the Bible, however I must categorically say that when christianity started there was nothing like the 66books. The compilation was made by theologians. There were other epistles in the early church like those of Barnabas and co, do we then call Christians of that era who believed in such epistles heretic. Ones salvation shouldn't be judged by wether the person believes in the book of Enoch or not but in the belief of the death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ and the acceptance of Jesus as Lord and saviour.
Believing in other books like book of Enoch doesn't make one a heretic. Let's not be stereotypical as Christians.
Let's be guided by the Spirit of Christ and not by assumption and opinions of people who condemn what they haven't read. Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgement. I like your perspective alot! |

solmusdesigns:

Sure, Doctors stay with the sick and not the healed
Jesus doesnt have much to preach or discuss with Oyedepo but has a huge job to do with Huspuppi
*Mathew was more corrupt than Hushpuppi and Jesus was his friend *Mary Magalean was an Olosho and Jesus never judged her *Peter was a fisher man and a not so rich guy *The Preist , Pastors and Prophet or the Oyedepos of Jesus time connived with the romans on false charges to prosecute Jesus *Jesus's first ever miracle was turning water into wine at a weding ceremony *Jesus respected Pagan King Ceasars laws and paid his tax (unlike Buhari haters) *Jesus told his followers not to scream when praying or shout at God, because God already knows your heart, you are merely reminding him
One significant thing about Jesus was that he isnt like the hypocrites of back then nor like the hypocritical christians of Nigeria, he drank wine, played with the poor, mingled with prostitute, and corrupt tax men ..
.. Point of correction, Mary Magdalene was not a Prostitute... Do a simple google research or read your bible sef |

jamesid29: I would like to suggest probably applying what was written down in scripture by Paul the apostle in 1cor 8: 1-13 about exercising our right to do certain things but not becoming a stumbling block to those whose conscience might be affected. In essence, if so many people feel so strongly about how evil the book is here, I think its just better to let it be and not even defend the book .But when you're amongst other believers who find the book valuable or in someway are open to have just a regular conversation about it, then you can share what you know and learnt with a free mind. Hmmmmm. This is my conclusion! I am beginning to regret bringing this thread up. It has stirred quite a lot of dissent, and insults traded around like strings of spaghetti.... In the end, the quote above is what we should really adhere to. We're all still Christians... |
Christianity Etc › Re: Why Was The Book Of Enoch Removed From The Bible? by nijabazaar(op): 10:51am On Oct 22, 2019 |
Conclusion: You asked the question, “Why isn’t this wonderful book included in the Bible?” The answer is that Jesus and the apostles never called it Scripture. It is important to note that a few early church fathers highly valued the book of Enoch, but they never referred to it as Scripture. Therefore, we cannot view it as authorative since it is not the Word of God. Hmmmm. Thank you. Hmmmm, again......thinking I never envisaged this topic to be so divisive. I am also struggling with my own conclusions too. Chai. |

I have being going via all the debates here. And it seems a few think they reserve the moral authority to deem what is inspired and what isnt.?
One commenter, went as far as to make it seem other denominations' view of the Bible is in consequential to His own view of the books the bible. I dont know. But i think is isolating....intellectual arrogance perhaps.
This is the problem with we Christians. Those who claimed to have been saved, suddenly start thinking like the Pharisees, they now cant afford to look beyond their noses. T
With the debate this Book has ensued here, one wonders, if this is the reason why the early Christian fathers refused or where reluctant, to include it with the final compilation of the Bible.
I am almost getting way pst the last chapters of the book of Enouch. I will add my findings as soon.
I am a catholic, i must say.... I am fairly annoyed by a comment above that seem to put up a nose. But that is irrelevant to the issue here.
The book was surely part of the Dead Sea scrolls. Other sets of Books, discovered alongside, were allegedly stacked away under heavy several concrete-deep vaults in the Vatican. Why?? |
