This wont work again. Investors are now wiser. Of what value is a fantastic unaudited results only for the thing to change when audited.

Looks like investors are still being fooled by this tactics. FBNH gaining this morning, thought it would be on full offer

Good morning house. Please I've got a little issue with Morgan Capital: needed a hundred thousand naira to attend to some engagements so I sent them an email to withdraw the said amount from my MC account.
They sent an email later saying the transfer had been done and my MC account was debited immediately but it's been a week now and I've not seen the money (had to get from a friend), sent them four mails about the 'transfer' that didn't happen but nobody is replying; all their lines are unreachable as well.
This is not exactly what a customer wants to go through when hard-earned money is involved.

I know this can be infuriating... try sending a mail to morayoj@morgancapitalgroup.com

".....notably First Bank, where oil and gas debt makes up 47 per cent of the total loan book" there is fire on the mountain.. would rather wait for the audited result to be reported before jumping in (if at all).

That's why it's called a STUCK MARKET or rather a gambling platform.

http://tribuneonlineng.com/forex-policy-iberia-withdraws-services-from-nigeria

THE refusal of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to exempt foreign carriers from its forex policy has claimed its first casualty, with Iberia Airline pulling out of Nigeria.

According to information gathered late Tuesday, Iberia, the Spanish national carrier, was said to have taken the decision, in view of the financial predicaments brought upon it by the CBN forex policy, which prevented it from repatriating its proceeds made in Nigeria for many months now.

Since the introduction of the policy, the foreign airlines have over $500 million trapped in the various banks which they ought to have repatriated to their various home countries.

Prior to the decision of Iberia, many of the foreign carriers had expressed their displeasure at the CBN policy, with many threatening to withdraw their services from Nigeria if nothing was urgently done to reverse it.
Information gathered on Tuesday indicated that apart from Iberia, other foreign airlines had concluded plans to equally pull out of the country.

In view of the latest development, the foreign carriers are expected to meet with Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo in Abuja, today.

Can they afford to ignore the Nigerian market ?! Empty threat... abeg make we invite China Airlines grin grin

There is no way a responsible SEC should not probe this result!!!

How did they go from PAT of N2billion as at Q3 to N713m in just three months

Without any major event happening and without any warning to shareholders Kai

Insurance stocks are to be avoided like a plague! i remember one Oga on SMN that learnt a bitter lesson too with NEM

with the inflation rate now in double digits and increasing at a fast rate, you would understand why a dividend yield of 10-12% isn't attractive anymore, hence the sell off... hopefully if the government can get the rate back to single digits and stabilise it then we may see inflow of capital with likely capital gains.

some lucky people don hammer for zenith in just 2 days. this market is full of wonders.

restrospective analysis is easy to do... how far a stock would fall is like asking how long is a piece of string. deciding when to jump in is the most difficult part, especially when NSE has a mind of its own. currently both fundamental and technical analysis hardly works..

Working in oil an company is not the issue here.

OIL is the life-wire of Nigeria economy and every wise investor must factor it as a major yardstick.

For over 6months I have been raising the RED FLAGS but some took it for granted.

Again let me chip this in.i know of 4 top Arab billionaires that have been into the oil industry for over 40yrs.

But this year they are all pulled their fund and retired because of the bleak oil future.

He that has ears let him hear.

Well the guy is into exchange and money transfer while I'm not.

I said this sometime ago I'm not really after NAIRA DEVALUATION rather what i want is stability of the NAIRA and free access to one's account .

All the money i remitted back home last year was done at an average of N170.

even rightnow remittance to Nigeria plus COT is done at the rate of N225 per USD while receiving from Nigeria is N228 per USD.

In other words the CBN restrictions is only preventing the bigger cash from hitting the system which in turn makes the economy to be stagnant and i bet you know what happens to a stagnant water. - PETERIOCONOMICS grin

If you base you investment decisions on what people say on this forum, then I advise you should be Demo trading. Stop blaming other for the decisions you have taken with your money, blame yourself !
