Direct your anger to those who crippled Nigeria by stealing the collective wealth of the people. It's their stealing that brought about a situation whereby some Nigerians now steal pepper, bread, yam, etc.

do not forget, u are increasing the prices of fuel, foods, import duties and the salaries are still the same.
this govt is fighting with almost everyone(especially the wrong ppl for the wrong reasons) and how do u think the govt will stand?
it is shame that u signed agreement with ASUU in 2009 and 4 years later, u have done nothing about it.
why will the govt sign agreement and refuse to honour it?

So if the government signed an agreement and could not honour it, the country should grind to a halt?. For over 4 months, our youths have been grounded. Just like doctors cannot embark on indefinite strike if they do not have their way because of the sensitive nature of their profession, those university lecturers should not punish our youths, because they did not get what they want from the government. The youths are the future of the country. In any negotiation, no individual or organization gets everything they wanted. If you want a pay raise where you work or improved working condition, will you stay away from work indefinitely due to the fact that you did not realize that and still be employed?.
RomanceRe: Nigerian Men Abroad Prefer Marrying From Home? - Why? by Niseamaka(m): 2:03pm On Dec 03, 2013
ogugua88: It's hard finding a Nigerian woman abroad. There are millions of Nigerian girls, but seldom can you find a woman. Language? They can't speak. Food? They can't cook. Basic Nigerian values? They don't have. I'm not generalizing. As a woman, I am telling you that there are some Nigerian "women" who embarrass the hell out of me.

However, the same goes for their male counterparts. Some Nigerian boys complain, they're arrogant, and they do try to be controlling (I'm speaking from experience). I still like to believe that people can be in a loving relationship without one party needing to control the other.

It's not just men that go home anyway, although they do it more. A friend of mine, her fiancé is in Nigeria and will be joining her here soon for marriage.

To each his or her own really. They can marry whoever they like. They'll jam many of the same obstacles they jam here at home. grin

kingbang: Glad to know that you have accepted your folly! Next time leave the word 'fact' out of your idiocy because you obviously know next to nothing about it. Now coming to a credible candidate, i accept that Obiano is not the brightest soul out of Anambra but he is the best out of the clowns that contested that election. Ask your Ngige what he achieved as Anambra Governor in 3 years and also his achievements as a senator for 3 years. Ngige is mediocrity personified and we shall reject him agaon come 2015.
I can see you are obssessed with Ngige, you even refered to him as my Ngige . I`m not a supporter of any of the candidates or parties, i am not even a registered voter, i have never voted in any election conducted in Nigeria. In my own view, there ain`t much difference between the leading candidates, the situation in Anambra state will be about the same at the end of the tenure of whoever emerges winner. Believe me, if any of them becomes governor 2morrow, i neither lost nor won. My only interest is that the electoral process should be transparently credible, free and fair. I`m from Nise so you cannot claim to love Anambra state more than i do. From your mindset, if your APGA selects a goat as their candidate, you will cast your vote for the goat.
PoliticsRe: APC To Challenge Apga's Victory At Tribunal by Niseamaka(m): 12:02pm On Dec 02, 2013
kingbang: FACTS? You call these idiocy you posted above there facts?
1. Inec Boss only admitted to a sabotage in 1 of the 21 LGAs in Anambra state. We are yet to know which party which the avoided sabotage was meant to favor.
2. Inec has cleared Tony Nwoye on that and you are still here ranting. Tony Nwoye failed to capture his name in the e-register despite INEC's prior warning to all. Tony Nwoye and many other carefree voters took that for granted and failed to adhere to that instructions. Many APGA supporters also couldn't find their names on that register too.
3. INEC has come out to clear Obiano on that allegation since. What he did was a voter card transfer. propaganda and lies wont help you and your pay masters son.
4. In the 2003 and 2010 elections, how many voters voted out pf the total registered voters?
5. Alleged? And you call it a fact? Do you reason from your anus son?

Deal with it, APC lost woefully and no sane court of law would cancel this election. Both local and international observers have given it a pass mark and have never called for the cancellation, so who the hell are you?.
Do you have to insult others to air your views. I wonder who you `re refering to as son. If you believe that someone pays me to express my opinion, maybe you are categorizing me with yourself, since you sold your soul for 10,000 naira, that i`m in the same boat with you. Continue wallowing in pettiness, talking about parties and tribes in this day and age that attention should be focused on credibility of candidates and what they have to offer Anambra State.

Nobody is asking him to go back to PDP cos d Ubas are still there to punish him again but there are so many Other parties. Ngige is even more than foolish!!!!!! Having said that, it will be easier for a camel to pass tru d eye Of a needle than for Ngige to b governor again in anambra. Don't ask me why.
Credibility of candidates should be our focal point, not party affiliation. If you think that someone is very foolish just because he joined a political party you did not approve of, then there`s no need exchanging words with you, i have out grown your level of thinking.

na_so: 50%? so tell me this 50% that could not vote are APC and PDP supporters only?

In the 2010 elections that Ngige, obi and soludo contested what percentage of the total eligible voters voted?
My friend, will you stop talking about parties and candidates for a while, let`s talk about facts :

1. INEC boss personally admitted irregularities.
2. A registered voter,Tony Nwoye, and one of the leading candidates, could not vote because his name disappeared from the voters register.
3. APGA candidate, Willy Obiano, indulged in multiple registration and had three voters cards.
4. Registered voters = over 700,000, total votes cast = over 400,000, disenfranchising about 1.2 million voters, over 50%.
5. Alleged swapping of result sheets with an already made up sheet.

Are you defending all these electoral abnormalities because of your support for a particular political party or candidate?.
PoliticsRe: APC To Challenge Apga's Victory At Tribunal by Niseamaka(m): 10:39am On Dec 02, 2013
Kingsley1000: Never in the history of Nigeria have an election like the fraud on November 16th 2013 in Anambra been witnessed. This is Nigeria's most shameful election and INEC's most disgraceful 'election' ever.
Allowing this election to stand (on any technicality that can be imagine), will be the largest attack on our nation's democracy - because it will mean that irrespective of what you do to steal the mandate of the people, you will get away with it. As people and a nation, this shame should be rejected.
Here are just few of the reason why the election should be cancelled:
- INEC's chairman personally said it. The election failed short than any past election (we all know some nasty past election - This is the worst of all).
- More than 50% of the electorates and a major candidate (the PDP candidate - Tony Nwoye) could not find his name on the register, after it was there two weeks before the election when INEC displayed it.
- It is on record INEC changed the voters register 3 times before the election. The one used in 2011 elections, the one displayed 2 weeks to the election and the one used on the election day - the most people did not see their names.
- It is a fact that Obiano (the APGA candidate), have 3 voters cards - a crime that attracts jail term. Here are the VINs (1) 90F5 B12B 0129 6204 172, (2) 90F5 B15E 7D37 8200 332, and (3) 90F5 B12B 8837 7091 121. According to the Electoral Law, he cannot vote or be voted for in any election in Nigeria. This is what we call multiple registration.
- All the top candidates have pulled out of this fraud and its Supplementary Elections. The parties include PDP, APC, LP and others.
- INEC Chairman publicly stated that some of its officers and APGA led government officials were arrested for getting bribed to displace Result-Returning forms, voting materials and also for making sure materials were late on there opponents stronghold.
There are other serious issues that have occurred in this election, but as a nation, we must uphold our laws and protect our democratic principles from the greedy elites who want to hijack the process for their selfish gains. It does not matter who is elected Governor of Anambra - but Nigerians should reject the worst ever election exercise in the History of Nigeria.
Valid points. I'm from Anambra state and I do not support any of the candidates. To me, there's no difference between the three leading candidates ideologically or otherwise. Most commentators on this forum were expressing there support for the parties of their choice, particular APGA supporters, regardless of available facts. How can an election in which a leading candidate, Tony Nwoye, could not cast his vote still be allowed to stand. How come about 50% of the registered voters could not vote b/c their name have disappeared from the voters register, thereby resulting in just about 400,000 total casted votes out of over 700,000 registered voters. These are gross irregularities that needs to be address not just expressing support for political parties.

Danhumprey: Okay,if as they claim that Supplementary election is illegal and not part of the Electoral Act,why and how then did INEC went ahead to conduct a supplementary election that they're now terming it 'illegal'? Why didn't they went to court after the November 16th cancelled election? Rather, they chose to wait to participate in a supplementary election that they are now terming it 'illegal'.

Isn't that being hypocritical?undecided

chaircover: That is a rather unfair statement bro. A woman/man has it within them to be whoever they choose to be regardless of location, it just manifests in different ways. A woman calling cops on her husband in the UK, will not call cops in Naija, but she will sure do something as damming. Is it not Naija that i hear of women smashing windscreens and dropping TV's off the balcony's?

Dont taint us all with the same brush. Look at the foundation and lifestyle of the men/women that you want to date. People are who they are; its an individual thing, not an environmental thing. A good or bad woman will be who she will be regardless of where she resides.
Irrespective of foundation and lifestyle, the society we live in greatly influences our behaviour. Women in the west generally, not only 9ja women, are manipulating with impunity the very laws put in place to help protect them from abuses. Couple of years ago, a work colleague of mine, white, was thrown out of his house by his wife. This woman with whom he had a daughter, was unemployed. The man works full time and pays the mortgage alone. He rented a small portacabin close to our place of work and still pays the mortgage. His wife now liveS alone in the house he labours to pay for. Their five years old daughter visits him once a week, on sundays. This scenario left the man a very broken person. He became an emotional wreak. One sunday, when their daughter came for her weekly visits, he strangled her and killed himself. What kind of society will evict a man from the house he bought and mandates that he continues to pay the mortgage while the wife lives there alone.

Your own solution is to surrender and retreat. You have no idea what men pass through in the name of marriage in the west. It's very difficult for a man to just let his wife dominate always, particularly we Nigerians. Their men are used to that kind of shit.
FamilyRe: Nigerian Killed By A Lorry After Storming Out Of Car During Row With Wife In UK by Niseamaka(m): 6:05pm On Nov 29, 2013
coogar: if a husband verbally abuses his wife, is it not marital abuse? is it not verbal abuse, can it not be variated to mean threat to life & what not? you need to go to court & watch how the CPS prove their case. this is the UK....men get screwed all the time.

you don't get this, do you?
it's completely criminal for anyone to be male in the UK. the court would want to know why a woman finds it more comfortable getting out of the car to walk alone in the wee hours of the morning. it must mean what she's running away from must be dangerous than walking alone with suitcases all by herself. if a man reports his wife to the cops that he's physically abused, he would be lucky not to be arrested. women can use loads of excuses to get away with murder, at the end of the day, her hormones is another reliable excuse.

the laws don't just create any safety net for the man. when 2 people of opposite sex drink to stupor & have sëx, the man cops a rape charge, the woman walks free. even if the man reports he was held down against his will by the woman, she can only get sëxual assault cos technically a woman cannot räpe an adult man in the UK. the law is criminally biased towards the women & everyone knows it.

On point. A popular sportsman in the country where i live went clubbing, hooked up with a girl, both got drunk and headed home in the wee hours of the morning. They showered, went to bed and did the obvious. The next day, she claimed they did it against her wish and the guy was arrested, detained and charged. If not that he is very popular, rich, well connected and can afford a very good lawyer, he wouldn`t have emerged from that encounter a free man. As you pointed out, the law is CRIMINALLY tilted in favour of women. A man is almost always wrong. You may even end up in jail for doing it with your own wife so long as she claims she said no and you insisted on doing it.

Mrs Olokun-Ola told how things were tense at home due to financial problems.

Typical Nigerian woman in the UK. They always respect the man when he is financially buoyant BUT once his fortunes change for the worse, then he will see their nastier side. Guess our women were not listening on their wedding day when the Pastor said "For Better for Worse" / "For Richer for Poorer"

She no longer felt comfortable driving and pulled over to what she thought was the hardshoulder. The stretch of the M25 where the accident happened was unlit.

The fight started because she wanted their bank card while he was away.

Never open a joint account with a Westernised Nigerian woman.

Now she has succeeded in hounding the man to death, she can now go and marry her bank card after killing the man who stupidly opened a joint bank account with the cantankerous devil.

'I got out the car and at first I was angry because he didn’t come running over to see if I was okay,' she said. 'I initially couldn’t see him anywhere.'

You have just hounded your husband to death and one of your first thoughts is that he didn’t come running over to see if you were okay !!! Who the hell do these UK Nigerian women think they are that they expect their men to come running at their beck and call huh??

Left to me, ALL Nigerian women in the UK will remain single until they come down from their high horses and stop dragging power with men.

You can now see the mindset of a UK based Nigerian woman that accounts for the reason more smart Naija guys in the UK are literarily postponing marriage indefinitely instead of marrying these demons.

it is better to reside in a small corner of the roof than live with brawling woman in a mansion

Now the poison tongued hen pecking husband hounder has to forever live with the fact that she contributed in no small part to the death of her childrens father

What is a hen pecked husband huh??

A hen pecked husband is a man whose wife never stops picking on or criticising him.

To try to dominate or harass (one's husband) with persistent nagging

They are not dragging power from their husbands, they are really the bosses, they wield enormous power. i personally witnessed a situation where a nigerian wife, in a heated arguement, told her husband: are you talking back on me?, are you talking back on me?, you are leaving this house now. She then left the house and called the police, the police arrived in less than ten minutes and asked the husband to leave the house. The man stayed away from the house for one week. A wife is always right in the western world, the law always back them.
