erico2k2: BIG FAT LIE, ONLY THE MILITARY CAN CREATE STATESAre you sure you`re okay?. |
Delafruita: your information is false.the CBN governor enjoys autonomy under the CBN act.he does not require the the scrutinization or approval of the finance ministry.he decides, after consultation with his team, which policies to implement and does same.sometimes he might seek approval of the executive but even that isnt always compulsory. The final say in respect of the introduction of new currency notes rests with the presidency, not the CBN governor. |
ACM10: Why does Sanusi wield so much power? Where are those powers when Soludo was at the helm? Is Sanusi really answerable to the president or himself? Before any of Sanusi`s ideas will be implemented,it must have been scrutinized and approved by the financial eggheads headed by aunty Ngozi as well as the presidency.without that approval, the new 5000 naira notes will not be introduced. it`s a collective decision of the government, not just that of Sanusi. |
SEEMS I`M ONE OF THE FEW NAIRALANDERS THAT IS VERY SUPPORTIVE OF THE CONTROVERSIAL INTRODUCTION OF 5000 NAIRA NOTES.I JUST CAN`T WAIT TO PUT 500K IN EACH OF THE BACK POCKETS OF MY JEAN TROUSER.A MILLION BUCKS IN DA POCKET. |
emenim: This is definitely the handy work of the witches and wizard. Women who are pregnant should equip themselves with prayers, because the devil is at workHow can you beleive this publicity stunt by a pastor looking for "customers". |
So sad. Of all the problems bedevilling Nigeria, insecurity of lives and properties is the most worrisome. No one is safe. Human life is valueless. Imagine shooting a 21 yrs old student in the face. That country sucks. Killing people for nothing. |
Omo Alata: They both need prayers. Seriously.Deliverance |
Thespecialone:Nu-de |
Darius2000: Yes. When I tried to have a flashback of my reactions to her comments, i was so ashamed. You cant build a lasting home if your ego is insurmountable. I accepted my immature acts and consequently apologised. If you have the slightest idea how many pple out there are anticipating your divorce, you will put aside that useless ego and guide your home JEALOUSLY.I just realised that without maturity and extreme patience, one cannot have an enduring home.My peace is more important than my ego....I just lost my ego, and i hope not to find it again....Good point. |
virtuoso01: Check out their formidable arsenal. Even Boko Haram will be seriously envious of this collection.Definitely armed robbery and kidnapping. |
Zeus I: There is no iota of democracy in your thinking, so jungle justice has now become the norm, tomorrow, you will start questioning the reason why a sane military man should overthrow his government and rule with force. And Osama was not kill in such manner as your dwarfed reasoning was made to believe, it is a press fabrication. (Osama died in 2006) ; and was exhumed by U.S govt to claim unattained glory, hence, the hasty concealment of his body. Be rational, not sentimental about issues. ![]() |
bestofthisyear: A political stunt funded by aurthur eze. Anambra though a lovely place is still a dangerous place to be. He can take the kudos when he rids the state of kidnapping like he promised so many times to...I do not see anything political about this. Authur Eze is one of the wealthiest folks in Anambra state. Any criminal who have the temerity to organize the abduction of his brother suppose to be aware that no stone will be left unturned in bringing him to justice. I believe the boldness of those hoodlums stems from the fact that they have carried out their heinous crimes with ease, unscathed with lesser mortals for a long time. This is the end of the road for them. |
otokx: The house should have been converted to a police station, that is the magic our golden governor AMAECHI in rivers state did to a house of a bank robber.Great idea, converting it to a police station would have been perfect. |
damola1: What crap.... and the land am sure is also haunted...and it'll be there forever.. no one will touch it....listen to yaselfYou are the one talking crap. Due process and the rule of law in dealing with those animals?. They deserve to be summarily executed. Recently they abducted a close relative of mine and murdered him after extorting two million naira from the family. These people are beasts. I am from Anambra state and the havoc those miscreants are meting out to our people is becoming unbearable. If one travels back home, you will not freely mingle with family and friends in your own home, instead you will be hiding from hotel to hotel. I am not a fan of Peter Obi, but i support and commend him 100% on this very issue. Fvck the rule of law. |
bknight: These moronss are at it again. Hotels are now sin houses? The so-called sins in d hotel r yet to compare to the sins ppl commit in their houses.Tell them. 95% of sinful and criminal atrocities Nigerians commit, takes place outside the confines of hotels. Some even occur in places of worship. |
stagger: You see what I said? See analogy?More people die from road accidents. |
Hon. SuQ Ma'DIQ:Hotels are not houses of sin. I recently holidayed in Nigeria with my wife and kids. We stayed in a hotel for four weeks. Some christian denominations even conduct their programs in hotels. You will discover the necessity of hotels someday when you travel outside the shores of Nigeria for business, conference or holiday. |
sylve11: What's the autopsy for?Examination of the dead body to ascertain the exact cause of death. |
gboss4sure: Ok choose one between these 2 comments.Both. Bashing other tribes is as irritating as talking about the price of garri in every thread. |
gboss4sure: Garri is irritating? You really need some time out because Nairaland has turned you into a bitter human being so what is not irritating here? The tribal bashings?Talking about the price of garri in every thread is irritating. |
Leobreezy: I beg to differ. Unless ur a sadist, then i guess ur free 2 say that. I bet u, if a poll were 2 be conducted 96% or more would be advocates of the garri crew(something Seun is afraid of). Being imperious will not solve anything it will only aggravate it.Advocates of the garri crew?.What will they be advocating for?.Talking about the price of garri in every thread?.Get a life. |
Leobreezy: We reserve the right 2 express our freedom of speech. I see no reason why the word "garri", an essential commodity in every home, should be treated as a vulgar remark. Besides, being humorous as it is, it brings laughter 2 d hearts of many. D general attitude of Nigerians is dat, even in dire situations, we still bring out d funny side of it e.g d fuel subsidy palava. Dats wat keeps us going, if nt, d problems of dis country would've killed us long ago. Seun, there are better issues 2 have sleepless nights over. I'm a bit suprised dat dis topic made front page sef. Those who are antipathetic to d garri crew, are u trying 2 tell me dat u havn't laughed at one of there posts b4?? U guys are just making a mountain out of nothing.I wonder how you came to the conclusion that garri is an essential commodity in every home and that mentioning it brings laughter to the hearts of many. This garri issue is the most irritating since i joined this forum. There is nothing hilarious about someone mentioning about the price of garri always in almost every thread. |
abifoluwa: i eat very well better than you will ever doThe price of garri will continue to be of major concern for you and folks with kindergarten mentality like you ad-infinitum. I wonder which cave in that dungeon called Nigeria you`re typing your rubbish from. |
abifoluwa: We the GPAN members will like to let you know that we are well educated and more informed than youEnglish teacher. Mr informed. Hunger is a terrible ailment. A blanket blackout for you guys is the solution to this garri childishness. |
Pathetic and childish. No thanks to unemployment and JAMB/University frustrations. Very irritating. |
pDude: Nope. Broken homes always give rise to further broken homes. Better stay single and spare yourself the impending doom of a broken marriage. What planet are you from?. |
obadiah777: thats just bullcrap. their relationship just ran its course. if you ask me they tried very much. they were together for a very long time. its only so many times you can take sleeping with the same person before you loose your mind. i say they both tried. however i think they are both selfish. s-e-x is not everything. after 4 kids together i think you should start looking beyond sex and start looking at companionship.Spot on |
emmatok: Its a river-port, go read the news .Attention seeker. |
Da infamous: yes seaport was just commissioned by GEJ just in finishing touches stage...Thanks. Very good news. Soon we will be able to clear our goods in Onitsha instead of Lagos. |
Da infamous: I am proud of NdiIgbos am proud of Anambra. This has marked a new era in Nigeria. I bet you, this Orient refinery will be completed in record time and will be the only functioning refinery in Nigeria with 80% of the technology being Igbo’s. The inauguration of Onitsha port is another land mark. Igbos were denied this for about 30years since Shagari started it in 1983. Now no one can hold the hand of God. I’m sure very soon Lagos will be the ghost of its own as it will witness mass exodus from it to our blessed/promised land. Congrats the JEWS of Africa....Is Onitsha port operational now?. Can international cargo vessels berth in the port?. |
Leobreezy: Your explanation makes it seem like he has multiple personality disorder. He might be a caring father or whatever but his attitude doesn't say much about him either, neither does it leave a good example for his progeny. U don't wash ur dirty linen in public. Do u think his dad would actually speak abusively of him even though he detests his attitude? Don't u think dat would bring opprobrium 2 d family? Any dad would definitely give a pretext for his sons wayward attitude. I'm nt trying 2 be priggish bt dats d truth.Leave Charley Boy alone. He is entitled to be different. Grow up. Move on with your own life. Learn to be tolerant of people whose lifestyle differs from yours. So long as you`re not hurting anyone and you`re not commiting any crime, you should live your life the way you choose. I do not spare a seconds thought on those whom i disapprove of their way of life. There will always be folks like Charley Boy, ad-infinitum. |
