Good evening, please does taxify accept 2002 cars? A friend has a Nissan Altima 2002 and wants to put it on Uber and taxify. Somewhere on their site they included 2002 cars but in another place it's 2003. Please help clarify

Believe you me, in this present situation, Lagos to Abeokuta to and fro for 15k is very beautiful(Abi naa), but someday, it will go as low as #10k

After all, like someone calculated, fuel is 4k and you have 6k for yourself

Ehailing is less than 5year in Nigeria. A lot have happened in last 2 years. Fare reduction is one and has its bitting effect in the industry.

It's sad that the low request ad earnings have made lot of Drivers to be desperate. Work ethics and standards have been thrown into the trash can.

The yellow cabs are facing a more harsh condition because of the rideshare app have taken almost all their customers but this people still have their standard/fixed price for Trips.

They don't say because they have not done any trip for The day they show now undercharge. These are babas that we see as uneducated. So why are the educated who offer a better service don't know their worth.

If the Baba at the peak of cab business don't have standard. Will uber and Taxify see an opportunity in the Taxi industry? The answer is no. What we would have, would have been the kind of Ogudu taxi. 50/100 per head.

There is more to consider before charging for a trip. It's not just about the fuel. Know your worth.

Every single minute you are on the road is a risk let alone on a high way, u gave the risk of accident, risk of bin robbed, risk of dreaded custom officers who would point a gun at you if you don't settle them, a whole lot of risk

Nice analysis but u have to consider the risk in doing an out of town trip that's why companies pay allowances when u travel out of town. They don't say because you are being paid your salary so you will be taken to the moon and back with no extra incentive. Let's try to appreciate work done in Nigeria. The driver is just lucky you got back early, if u stayed till evening he would have still got same fare, trust me, he would have made same thing if he was in town jejely.

I noticed this trend. It's mostly drivers on rental that charge ridiculous amount of money for offline. I think it's because they are not responsible for maintenance of the car.

Before I can take any outside Lagos trip. I will factor in the cost of break pad, ball joint, tie rod, fuel, that day rental and my feeding. If rider is not ready to pay my price. He or she should move.

I dont do trip for earning sake. I take trips that can repair my car in case of unexpected.

did you do a gps calibration? Are your uber and google maps up to date? I also use s7 bro and I can tell you it's the best for this work. Pls update and do a calibration on your gps. You may also have problems with taxify

I believe he meant the bus ll be owned by him not on rental. If the bus is owned by him. 4k is guarantee daily

I think he should get a 10 seater bus instead. He can use it to convey people to work in the morning and back to his b/stop in the evening and also juggle saturdays as well. With that he should be able to remit #4000 daily excluding fuel (that's over #100k) a month and if he add that to his current #90k ,he would be fine.

Hello, gurus. Advice needed. Elder bro intends leaving his 90k - a - month job for ehailing. He doesn't know how to drive, nor does he even have a licence. But he is in the process of learning how to drive now. He also got somebody to process his license within 2wks. He does 24hrs on, 24hrs off at work. He plans getting a car on rentals.
Is this a good move?

Safety wasn't the reason for not taking the trip, the rider may request I end the trip on getting to his destination and there is nothing I can do about that. Are there unsafe pickup points? Yes! Where? Follow ur instinct and discretion. My early days and d most scaring trip I ever took was ard 1am, I don't ever know my way, I was just depending on her direction from Atican beach till we got to A Adesanya, she ask me to take d first exit and head straight down.... I was just seeing bushes on both side like I'm using ore - Benin road, picking her from the beach, compound me fear and she asking me not to worry but to reduce my speed made it worst. So, when you see 2 or 3 men, from 8pm requestioning from a bus stop, let your spirit lead you, no body really knows, its just grace.
