But bad car wasn't the only thing he mentioned, like he said how you deal with riders also matter.
In fact that should be the number one thing to take seriously, I have seen guys that uses bad cars that ordinarily they would have been yanked off the platform but how they kept going remains a mystery.
I have a friend that anytime I see him the first question that will pop out of my mouth is how do even cope with riders with this your car? Don't they rate you low or won't they block you?

Approach is the key, in these your cases don't you think you could have done better or handle it better?

So sorry for your ordeal bro. When you come back online, note the following tips. We've shared it before, but for your sake lemme type again.

Please note that this works for me and my least rating was 4.74. Present rating is 4.98. Activity 96%.

1. Always ACCEPT ALL TRIPS even when you don't intend going on the trip due to distance or pick-up location or destination. Just accept. If you don't intend going, and the rider refused to cancel, just slide arrive and wait till it starts reading PAID WAITING. It's usually 5mins. But someone said it's 3mins. Me, I cancel when paid waiting starts. And you should be good.

2. ALWAYS KEEP YOUR CAR CLEAN. After every ride, tilt your head towards the back seat to see if the previous rider littered or dropped anything. If you have to park to dust your carpet for sand or litter and dust your seats, please do it. The 60secs you spend in cleaning your car would pay in the long run. For a little extra, have a can of a nice air freshener in your car which you can spray occasionally to keep your car smelling fresh, that's if you don't have those block air fresheners.

3. Keep your car in good condition. AC cooling, suspension noice etc should be in check.

4. Be polite. The Good morning or afternoon or evening you greet a rider when he/she enters your car would not kill you. You don't need to wait for them to greet you when they enter your car. Have a good day (MORNING) or Enjoy the rest of your day (AFTERNOON - EVENING) or Have a good night (NIGHT) are good ways to part ways with your rider. You don't need to ask them to rate you.

5. DON'T FIGHT WITH YOUR RIDER. This one can't be overemphasized enough. Truth is, there are times a rider would piss you off. Just take it in good stride. No rider would go with you to your house, so worst case scenario, you'll spend a couple of hours with them. Just tolerate them.

6. Abeg these ones don do. Follow these ones and you should be fine.

- If you drive full time, then you will know that Thursday afternoon is one of the best periods a driver can afford to spare, and anytime on a Saturday/Sunday is a No No

- Don't be sure on her behalf Let her say so if it is so

- Drinking alcohol? What difference would their presence make if it is water they're drinking. This is stigmatization

My opinion too, The last day of year 2020 is a Thursday, what's better than capping the year off on the last day

From popular demand, and suggestions garnered through all channels, I am here to inform y'all that the get together has been Postponed to Thursday, January 21st, 2021. The Venue still remained Jamrock Cuisine, lekki -Epe expressway after Elaganza bus stop when coming from the Mainland.

The shift of date was necessitated because of activities lined up for almost everyone of us taking cognizance of persons traveling this week and the wedding ceremony of one of us (Bishop). And again, the thirst for surge cannot be dampened whatsoever.

The organisers pleadingly seek everyone's advantage before this conclusion was reached and we together we can do to this.

The account is still open and the fee for food alone is 1,800. Please pay up so we can all do things together.

Bro you seem to be moving from 1 car to another for this uber. You started off with a Benz, than a sunny datsun ,than to Corolla and than to Benz again .. From personal experience I think it is better to just stick 1 car or find 1 car that will work well .. .Jumping ships from 1 car to another is not cost effective.. I only jump ship once. I went from Elantra 07 to 08 to Honda civic 03 to 05 . And that is what am sticking to now .. And the only reason I jump ship is to be cost effective and adjust to the business environment... This post is not to disrespect or belittle you in anyway. This is my observations

Chaiiii I just saw one of us here now at ikeja mall , 2 ladies brought trolley of their shopping and this guy was just sweating offloading them to his boot while the 2 ladies watch him doing it, that trip fit be from the mall to magodo like that 500-1000

This people for airport wan use me shine i stopped at that busstop close to Airport toll gate going towards Ajao estate. Some Faan guys carry my car go office. I just stopped for less than 1 min to ask my rider for his location. E be like say na court go settle this matter. I no fit part with 10k now.my car still dey on with Hazard light

In other news, I took time out to analyze InDriver app during the Christmas/New Year holidays.
I'm wondering why drivers are not taking advantage of the app.

From my analysis, I can work 10 hours in a day and gross #15,000 on a really slow day, #20,000 on a normal day and #25,000 on weekends. I can see the rider's pickup point, I can see the rider's destination; and I have google maps.

My "grosses" are sure!

My people advice me, i be newbies ( new driver ) i just met wit my partner wey wan give me car on rental but him say na me go raise money (25k) to take fix the little issue ( faulty horn & brake problem ) wey d car get... I don go see d car today, E de in good condition except for dat little issue.. Is it advisable for me for me to go for it Considering the fact that this is my first attempt in the business.
