Rubbiish: I believe u must have used okada and keke napep, do u show them any respect? How many times have u greeted an okada man or keke rider old enough to be your father before mounting bike? What kind of respect do u show to them because u didn't buy d bike, fuel and do maintenance for them? I am not saying Uber riders maintain same job status with okada riders, but if someone is paying for a service, i think respect should be d least of your worries attending to them. As long as they did not insult u. Every time. Including bus conductors and drivers. It's courtesy to a fellow human being. It's self respect. |

Sakamanjeh99: House... Pls Hw mch can I fix diz Yeye rider wey make m mistakenly lock key inside go open bootfor her stil come say make I cancel d trip !!! Kaii.... I tell am say na she gangan b winch !!! You need to learn how to open your car door when the keys are locked inside. You need a long piece of wire (metal hanger that you've loosened up) and a thick rod of metal - it could be your wheel spanner. Plus someone to help you hold the rod of metal. In 2 minutes, the door is open, and you are on your way. |

Stealth100: I'm surprised y'all don't seem to know much about the scam on uber drivers going on now. This is how it works;
Rider requests for a ride, asks you to pick up something and bring to him/her, usually to a far place. They use the long distance to entice drivers, we all like long trips nah abi?
So at the pick up point, the rider asks you to help him pay for the package(usually 3-10k), or help him tip the person dropping the package. He/she will tell you that he will pay you back including the trip fare when you get to his place.
When you get to the destination, the rider that requested would be no where to be found, the package you picked up would end up being useless. One guy was given a package filled with tissue papers. All the numbers you called before would be switched off mostly forever. Only until then would you realise you've been scammed.
This scam has many variants o, but the main way to avoid all the different kinds is to not use your money to claim any package or settle any bill for a rider, whether he is in the car with you or not. They can easily make a transfer to you, you withdraw the money, pay for whatever they want you to pay for and proceed on the trip. Anything other than that is a scam loading.
Be wise! Because I'm Western Union, abi?

BAZ001: The Area is Aguda Surulere Adetola street precisely
They are Area boys /thugs illiterate, you still talking about double pointer. A woman was buying bread on same street yesterday she was in her car, window to buy bread, they entered her car and tooK her to LOCAL govt. Just tweet about this guys at LASTMA and Ministry of the Transport, then Environment Twitter handles. Cc: @AkinwunmiAmbode. Trust me, their harassment will stop before two days. In my estate (Gowon), Mosan Okunola LCDA people arrested my car for parking inside the bus stop for Keke and buses. I argued with them that it was a bus stop, and cars can park. They said no, that they will tow me to their office. I swore to them that if my car should enter their yard, I will spoil the business for them because what they are doing is illegal. They no gree, they towed the car to their office at Water bus stop. Long story short, from about 10:00am till 5:00pm, they held on to the car. They released the car around that 5:00pm without me paying 10kobo. And I still tweeted their attrocities at the Ministry of the Environment, Ministry of Local Government Affairs, Governor himself and co. Within one week, they cleared them off the roads in the estate. Same thing with those goons at Ilupeju. They extorted #10,000 from me, but I spoilt the business for them too. For these goons is Surulere, I will take them on. In a few days, they will be off the roads |

itguy1: Uber pay the person that register on there platform based on my understanding sha, you can make over 100k weekly if you give it out on rental depending on the type of car and agreement between you and the driver. Majorly common on the road is Toyota corolla but you can use matrix, Pontiac vibe, Honda civic. Senior members can advice you more

emmancecute: I disagree Sir, I think something is wrong with uber app. 3 weeks ago I got a notification that my account was flagged. I went to their office and I was adviced to get another phone, note that I was using a Samsung galaxy S6 at the point in time. Though I used to get increased fare on some trips and I have written to them till I got tired. Funny thing is I only get the increased fare on uber but taxify fares remains the same and my GPS is calibrated to high accuracy. I changed my phone to a Samsung galaxy S6 edge single SIM and everything was normal for like a week. The following week same issue started and I dashed down to their office, their reply was also same gibberish about changing phones again. Me I kuku carry my stubbornness continue driving with my phone like that. Some days later, I got blocked so I shot them a mail about my effort to resolve the issue and my account was opened again. Now, I remembered I have a Nokia 2 phone that I abandoned somewhere, I uninstalled all other apps on it and I have been using it for uber only. Everything as been fine atleast for now. Uber app doesn't work well on some Samsung phones. On Nokia single sim Android phones, you are good to go. |

woodrow: Like a typical Nigerian politician u didn't answer the question..lolz
Thank God you said it by yourself that u were hustled. So I cant borrow my friend's car and travel to Lagos anymore? You panicked and they made money out of you. You already have a drivers license issued by the federal republic of Nigeria,the highest authority,behind it it is clearly stated that you are licensed to drive a car other than a motorcycle or articulated vehicle.
I wont say more than that Just try it, let them catch you one day. Their wickedness doesn't have Part 2. I even prefer I follow one way and Police catch me, I know how to be free of that in minutes. But these people? They are unreasonable. Don't enter their trap, I beg of you. |
