Hmm....In Nigeria of today, if you are an average earner, it's difficult to do certain capital projects without taking a loan.... cooperative, banks e.t.c.

I think studying the terms and conditions of such loans with repayment plans that will not affect your basic spending is key. Don't collect loans that will hook you. Be disciplined and ensure you use the loan for that capital projects you collected it for.

Make we no lie for ourselves, when will someone earning #100,000 for example build a house He needs to join a cooperative society or take some little bank loans to start off.

Loans sometimes make you stay truthful to your envisaged savings plan. Most people on their own cannot be discipline about savings. So when you collect the amount you intend saving to get some project done, use same to do the project and pay without stress.

There's nothing wrong with getting married to a mom of two.

It's mostly the in-laws (in this case your mom) who naturally frown at their sons getting married to a single mom and it's with good reason.

The issue is that most of the single moms out there have gone through a rough event or were wild at some point which led to the involvement of kids.

Their maturity in the real world is by far superior to a single guy especially in the event of marriage. it can be a good/bad thing.

My advice to you is, take your time, heed the advice of family and elders and do a lot of background checks as to when, how and what led to the lady being a single mom of two and how is the relationship with the father of her children.

Very important to also go in with an open mind.

Bear in mind that a 2005 car is now obviously 15 years old. That's approximately an average of 150k miles. Possible more for an engine already indicating weakness at the seals. Ringing it wouldn't be a bad idea in resolving the high oil consumption but make sure you have a competent technician near you to handle it. If he doesn't get it right, the problem may persist with even more consequences and more expenses. Replace the engine if u can afford to. You will be a happier man.

Even with a replacement engine, use a 20w/50.

issue: my car burns oil (like half a litre after a week's drove to and from work. A drive of about 20km to and fro).

Now I'm thinking of ringing the engine soon once I'm able to save up.

I want to ask if I should start using the specified 5w30 synthetic oil by Honda, or, continue the 20w50 I have been using for about 10years I have been with the car??.

2 things are causing this issue that would have been solved if only the 2 parties communicated better and maturely.

1) The client agreed to the terms and agreements of the job and even deposited part of the agreed amount but later attempted to manipulate the process by requesting for reduction in price and spare parts, which went against the initial agreement.

2) If, and as at when, Gazzuzz accepted to yield to the customer's wishes on reduction/use of parts brought by the customer, he should have clearly stated if the parts, oils, reduction in agreed price of labour etc, were still captured under the 3 months warranty or if not, should have been expressly stated/defined.


Going forward, I humbly suggest that all parties drop the egos and aggressive posture in order to reach a favourable end to this matter. Since Gazzuzz made the offer for a full refund to which the customer declined, then, I think the onus is on the customer to offer better provision for an ample solution that is acceptable to both parties.


Business is like this, we just learn from these sort of experiences.

Everyone that finishes from NMS is a soldier and after NMS you cannot decide to continue or not. You must put in at least 4 years post NMS before you can even decide to discontinue.

Look, from the moment you join NMS which is JSS1, you are already a soldier with Army number....and right from the that JSS1 you are being paid.

What's the other guy is trying to let you know is...

After NMS you are entitled to higher study leave...you can choose to go to NDA (which is not even automatic, you must meet and pass required exam and screening)

Then, you can also choose to o go civil school I.e University... You will be released unhindered to go to University while you're still a soldier and been paid salary at the same time studying.

After graduation from university.....the OP's question comes in...and the answer is NO! You cannot do NYSC but can apply for letter of exemption. Military men can't serve the country twice.

But If you finish from a civilian university then you must serve, but if u attend NDA then u will be exempted from youth service.
