Politics › Re: Border Closure: Nigerians Shun Local Rice, Sellers Lament by nlPoster: 4:54pm On Oct 17, 2019
somehow:
With the way you have been talking about eating LOCAL RICE filled with stones, how on earth won't you remember the brand?
Not everyone buys by the bag.

You don't know the brand name if you buy by the bowl from the market.

Btw, it's common knowledge the local rice contains stones, I don't know why people are arguing. I've posted how to remove stones and chaff from local rice, others have named the brands that don't have stones, why is there still controversy over this matter?

Food › Re: Which Nigerian Local Rice Brand Is The Best ? by nlPoster: 4:51pm On Oct 17, 2019
If you buy one derica from these roadside sellers, some of them don't destone the rice because they want to make more profit.
Is it the roadside seller's responsibility to destone the rice?

Should be either the miller/rice grower or the consumer I think.

If the seller does the destoning, then they should add the extra labour cost to the price.

That thing is not a Bible, its a book titled THE ACT OF MARRIAGE AND SEX

Nigerians or is it nairalanders are so obsessed with sex? huh

I was wondering why they decided to use a paperbound bible instead of the regular one.

Op I hope you noted this response? Your thread title is intentionally misleading, I guess you are copying the couple I posted reading a bible so you quickly improvised but could not use a real bible because something is off somewhere?

Most prefer small talks and naughty conversations
Even here on nairaland most posters prefer that also, regardless of gender.

So many topics that get derailed with sexual innuendo, a lot of people simply lose interest or can't follow any discussion that doesn't involve sex.

Where is her hometown in Delta state, who are her family members to verify her identity, asking the boyfriend's name is sort of counter productive because anyone can pop up and say they live in Ife and are the boyfriend. Where's her phone btw?

My point essentially is, is she Nigerian? Why is there no surname added to the first name?

Her nationality should in no way affect her care .

Is it any wonder most social media Nigerian males dont feel they have to behave with respect when it comes to women?

I've come to see many different ways of argument between man and woman around me and out of personal experience.

- some do beat the woman during fight, it's a no go to me,

- some discuss for days, yell and scream. I don't like it so much, am a calm person,

-some totally ignore each other for days and don't speak to each other, can you stand it??

I prefer discussing after a fight and look for solutions together. What's your opinion on that??
Why are you asking for my opinion and how many men are the subject of your study? huh

Do u realise that we as a people seem incapable of self examination? We always get defensive, personalize the issue and qattack whoever makes any observation without addressing the validity of the observation. We seem 2 look for somebody else 2 blame for everything.
We conviniently blame everything on something but never look inwards. We justify the observations made about us launching into tantrums everytime w have no valid answers
It's not something that can be fixed, it's the Nigerian character.
