I dont see how one wife is a Christian doctrine when we are told every Christian festival or belief is of pagan origins. |

The Nigerian govt did not adopt the language of the bible.
Even most bible names Nigerians have, are not the language of the bible, just the translation or transliteration. |

For many Nigerians, the pastor is the closest example they have of the ideal Nigerian dad, that's why the pastor is called daddy. It's just something that makes them (we Nigerians) feel fulfilled, everyone has their own thing. For me, its books or food perhaps.
Besides, it's a term of respect. It's like saying egbon, aburo to someone who isnt your relative. Its simply Nigerian culture I guess. |

The delusion is of non persecution.
Even Jesus said "if the world hates you".
People's experiences might be different, but it's wrong to discredit others simply because they dont share yours. |

Follow your common sense.
If church is affecting you negatively or you are affecting church negatively, do take breaks. Suffering in silence achieves nothing. |
