YES. The thinking is subpar. That can easily be cured by turning on the brain.
Blk ppl are ignorant, not stupid. Ignorance can be cured. The blk community can make a turnaround, if we change our thinking. We starts from you. |

A couple of threads are on different sides of the issue.
Topic 1: someone gifted his neighbour a whole chicken, he says he discovered it went in the trash.
Topic 2: a skit about Christmas chicken gift enjoyed with relish, only to discover it was made with food offered to idols by a worshipper (himself). |

safarigirl: when it happens to you, come and tell us your story.
Why will you run to one man when Hod has given you power over principalities? Are you not a child of God? Do you not also have God's anointing that you need one random fellow that parades himself as a man of God to pray for you?
No harm can come upon God's child without God sanctioning it and if God says it is your time, it is your time, there is nothing Olukoya can do about it. The sooner some of you realise this and embrace the inevitable, the better for you. You're saying the same thing you say the pastor is doing, namely speaking for God. Romans 11:34 says who has known the mind of God and who is his counselor? We Nigerians tend to consider ourselves as God's voice when in fact we are just schemers. I mean regular Nigerians, not pastors/leaders. God does not sanction evil, humans do. |

Bankowner: Commendable!
Just unlike some nairalanders who have become gods & goddesses unto themselves and are rude and insultive at every harmless invite. More like everybody is out to scam them.
But here are nairalanders who TRUST each other enough to spend their time and resources to pursue fun together. Yes, they know and trust each other no doubt. |

Nice one.
I was there some years ago.
Anyway, my reason for commenting on the thread is hope you all had a good time and secondly, not trying to sound preachy but Nigeria is a conservative society (never mind) and some of the earlier photos were rather risque (I dont see the controversial one, was it removed?).
People might be wondering if the folks on this trip are engaged to be married? Everyone looks impressive btw. Beautiful ladies.
Where's that lady in the yellow dress? |

All have sinned, we all need Christ because of our sinful nature.
Without the power of God, no human would have the ability to resist these urges whether in the bush or even during delivery. So we have to remember to pray that God should make us righteous and holy minded so we do not sin. It's not easy but also not impossible.
Sorry for being preachy, I just feel overwhelmed by how carnally we are created. The flesh is weak. As a Nigerian, I dont doubt this.
Besides, the people shown could be a married couple who just want to have freaky sex. |
