Yes you can use naira savings account, in fact you can use any currency sef. Just ensure you use the appropriate exchange rate so rhat your POF is above the required CAD value. For my application, I included the exchange rate of that day in my letter of explanation (LOE) and uploaded it with my bank reference letter. Use bank of canada rates or oanda.com. Good luck! profeddor15: 3 Likes 4 Shares |

No need to be confused, that's how it is supposed to look. You are done with the ITA one, what you have to do is click on 'Continue application' to proceed (see image below). Twentylab: 1 Share

Yes, no problem applying from your country of residence, everything is online anyway. If you got your highest degree outside Nigeria, then you don't need WAEC for WES. Use this tool to find out the required documents: https://www.wes.org/required-documents/ Stdannyel: |

Kennyace1: No I didn't attach payslips or bank statement. I sent her an invitation letter, copy of my passport data page and residence permit card and copy of my tenancy agreement. That was all. |

Yes it's possible to add after you click Done, it will take you back to the previous page and you can go back as many times as you want. It is only if you click 'Submit' that you won't be able to change or add anything. Dlaw6578: |

So I believe the most important thing is to provide proof that you will return to Nigeria. In my brother's case, he has no assets (land, house, etc) so the biggest tie he has to Nigeria is his job. He works in a bank and earns about 250K monthly. Even though I was sponsoring his visit, we submitted his payslips and bank statement (balance of about 500K). In his cover letter, I made sure that he wrote a bit about his job and how passionate he is about it (so that visa officer will not think that he will abandon his job) and how much he earns. He also has a car loan from his employer, which he mentioned in the letter and attached the offer letter as proof. In my invitation letter, I stated that I was sponsoring his trip because he works too much and hasn't taken a holiday since he started working (which is true) and I want him to visit me, that I can comfortably afford it and also because he is my baby brother. I also mentioned the fact that my parents visited last year and went back to Nigeria after their visit. In short, my aim was to prove that he has a life in Nigeria to return to and I think I was able to successfully do that. See full list of documents we submitted here: https://www.nairaland.com/5233246/general-uk-visa-enquiries-part/47#80750533 One thing to mention is that I received a call from UKVI asking me if I am inviting anyone, the person's name & relationship to me, where he works and his job title, how much I am sponsoring and how long is the visit. He got his visa a few days later. Hope this helps. Good luck with your application! toperino: 2 Likes |

Of course it raises flags but that's the point of including a detailed cover letter & invitation letter. Jbloc: |

Not true. I sponsored my brother who is working as entry level staff and he got his visa. In fact, he had no previous travel history. Justblow: 1 Like 1 Share |

Sure, if the period you have worked with the company in total adds up to 3x365 days. You should separate the dates when you're filling your work history section e.g. DD/MM/2013-DD/MM/2014 XXY company, DD/MM/2016-DD/MM/2018 XXY company. Also make sure your work reference letter clearly states the two periods of employment. Canny19: 2 Likes 3 Shares |

You don't need LOE for this. It is not compulsory to bear your husband's name and this is exactly why they request for marriage certificate, that is all the proof required. Jesusbabygirl: 2 Likes |

I didn't give any particular reason. In the invitation letter, I mentioned that last year my parents came (also fully sponsored) and it was fun, so we decided to invite my mum and brother this year. I also made it clear that he has a good job in Nigeria that he plans to return back to. NanaOne1: |

Hello house, I bring good news. My mum and brother just got their visit visa valid for 6 months . My mum is retired and self-employed, this will be her 2nd time visiting the UK. While my brother has 2 years work experience in IT but no travel history and first time applying for any visa. I put a budget of 3K for 2-weeks stay for both of them (fully sponsored by me). Timeline (Standard): TLS Lagos VI 20th June: Submitted online application (document self-upload) 26th June: Biometrics 18th July: Call from UKVI (asked if I was inviting anyone and how long they are staying, if I am fully sponsoring and how much, my brother's job title and company he works for, my immigration status in the UK and my job title...I think that was all) 19th July: Received email stating 'Application Concluded' 23rd July: Passport ready for pickup Picked up passports same day with both visas approved These are the documents we submitted with their application: Mine: 1. Invitation Letter for both of them (electronic copy with a scanned picture of my signature) 2. Copy of BRP and my passport data page 3. Tenancy agreement (scanned copy with signatures) 4. 6-months payslip (e-copy) 5. 6-months bank statement salary account (downloaded from my online account with no bank stamp) Mum: 1. Cover letter - highlighted my mum's sources of income, she collects pension and is also self-employed. I also highlighted how much she has currently in her savings) 2. Copy of previous UK visa 3. Company CAC certificate 4. Pension Letter 5. C of O of residential house 6. Land C of O 7. 6-months bank statement (the one that her pension and income from her business comes into) 8. Excel table explaining deposits into her account, with 4 columns - Date, Amount, Sender and Purpose of transfer (we highlighted any inflow greater than 50K) Brother: 1. Cover letter - highlighted his job, how much he earns and how much he currently has in his savings) 2. HR Letter of introduction 3. Work Offer Letter 4. Work ID card 5. 6-months payslips 6. 6-months bank statement (both salary and savings accounts) 7. Excel table explaining deposits into his account, with 4 columns - Date, Amount, Sender and Purpose of transfer(we highlighted any inflow greater than 50K) *I was a bit worried about the fact that we didn't include tenancy agreement for my brother because he shares a flat with his colleague and his name is not on the agreement but thank God that it didn't seem to matter. We didn't include tax cards either. Thanks to everyone who contributes here, especially to giselle237 & MadameW for taking the time to answer my questions. God bless you all! 9 Likes 2 Shares |

My dear, I thinkyou should be able to do this yourself. Here's the link to the crs tool: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp Also read pagr 1 and thoroughly absorb IRCC''s website on express entry https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry.html It is better for you to take ownership of your application now so you don't waste money, this is a costly process. Good luck. Perra: 1 Like |

I agree with what others have said, seriously consider going straight for the PMP. You don't have to have a PM title to meet the project management experience. To fulfill this, you need to have performed PM tasks that fall under the process groups (IN, PL, EX, MC & CL) From the bolded part below (how many years of experience do you have doing this?), I'd think you may have the required hours. You can download an application guide online to help you break down your hours or PM me for the one I used Adunnee: |
