i ve already busted this your propaganda on Awka. Peter did the least in Awka out of all elected govts. Mbadinuju opened up the site of the old "three arms zone" housing house of assembly, judiciary, alex ekwueme, ASUBEB building and he constructed the dual carrige way leading the place which still remain the best road in Awka. He also build the ABS complex and the permanent government house, called zik's place (which he did not complete) all in 4 yrs. Mbadinuu did well in Awka and meant well too but God fatherism tore his administration into pieces and made mess of him. He established Anambra state university, fought insecurity (though with unconventional method) and established free education before his administration headed for an irredeemable surmasault. Ngige came too and awarded zik avenue, arthur eze avenue, unizik bridge and Awka city roads. Among them are Umushi street, meloch street, ahocol road leading to Nwakpadolu estate, and the road that leads to old commissioners quarters through ahocol among others. They were wide with drainage. His departure was sudden and he didnt complete many of them but they were already graded. The ones he completed were of standard. Example is ahocol estate road is a nice, solid, three lane road. Peter obi came and cancelled all and only reawarded them when people complained bitterely about the state of the roads. He standard were shameful. The roads are so narrow over taking is difficult. Uptil today if you pass through those roads, you will see buildings marked for demolition under Nigige which abandoned and narrowed the road to his mediocre test. Awka is developing so fast that if you make a road narrow, people will construct heavy buildings and plazas by the side making dualization and expansion almost imposible or atleast expensive. If Nigige finished those road with his high standard, Awka would have a high er rating today. Aside the secretariat, obi does not have a legacy pproject in Awka which he started from the scratch.

I have continued to maintained that Obi was the first in d east since 1999 to elected by the people and he did his best for the state. before Obi's coming Anambra was the headquarters of choas in Nigeria- a lawless community of gods of money. No governor showed skill and tact like him. how much debt did he incur for the state? hw much investment did he attract to the state? the CBN office in nasarawa and anambra took off the same time and a gej project which obi lobbied to have. no governor in d east matches obi. Oboy you be Lienus Mba, from your post it shows your are APC, Ngige scores zero in health sector, security and education, 80% of roads constructed by Ngige was within his local goverment, Ngige had plan then to relocate Anambra state university and teaching hospital to his home town alor, it was Obi that changed all his plans, Obi move the uni to Igbarim and the hospital to Awka and contructed roads in all the local governments in Anambra, he was the one that constructed Enugu/Onitsha old road with drainage on both side, funded all mission hospitals in Anambra he did lots, If you are using UNTH as yardstick to measure COOUH, mind you UNTH it's federal just like Nnamdi Azikiwe university teaching hospital Nnewi, My house is not far from COOUTH Awka, they have very large space for future expansion, the hospital is divided in to three sections, teaching hospital entrance from express, then the general hospital entrance from Old road, then the pharmaceutical complex along Aroma road.

for the records, peter obi did not construct any zik avenue. Ngige awarded it before he left. Obi cancelled it when he came and Etiaba reawarded it when obi was impeached. When obi came back he was forced to oversee its completion. Both zik avenue, arthur eze avenue and Unizik paedestrian bridge were all awarded by Ngige with RCC. Obi had no hand in them, forget propaganda.
As for Amaku, i have made my point. It was upgraded from general to teaching hospital and was not built from the scratch, which you inadvertently admitted. I never criticized obi's administration for merely bringing it out from alor but he should have found a new place or another town to site it. Thats how sane people do, and not in aroma junction of all places. What happened to Nibo, Isiagu and other town within Awka capital territory. Whether federal or state, a teaching hospital is a teaching hospital and most be given its standard.
I am not APC, i never even mentioned parties. I supported Nigige when he worked. I despise Obi because he is a failure and i support Obiano because he is doing well. I only stand for good governance.

The state water corporation closed down throughout his 8 yrs in office even when they won him at the industrial court. Some times i wonder what Anambra would've been if Obi took over from Mbadinuju.

You are hoplessly clutching at straws and i doubt whether you know Awka at all. Peter obi did not build any teaching hospital. It is on record he extended the general hospital by adding some structures on the land belonging to Amaku gen. Hospital and got the MDCN to accredit it.

That second building house the state emmergency management agency and fire service has been under construction (around 60% copleted) since 1992 during Ezeife administration. Only finishing was done by obi without furnishing before he invited jonathan to commission it. He is a failure.

I heard you say that Obi built teaching hospital from the scratch. You may think you are talking to fools. The teaching hospital has already been propposed for alor, ngige's home town. Yes, you may say it is hometown. But such proect reqiures a virgin territory in order get the required serenity and space for expantion. Obi cancelled the one in alor and went to Amaku general hospital, added few structures and called it teaching hospital. Is that what you mean by building from the scratch?

Do you know UNTH had to relocate from Enugu city to ituku-ozalla in order to get enough space expansion. But peter obi, in order to avoid undertaking a huge project, removed the project from alor and squized around 4 structure into amaku general hospital in a very congested area in Awka, and under a high tension cable. Today there is no room for expansion in that area and another government may be called upon to relocate it in the nearest future.

Obi failed. What stopped him for building it in another town or a town within the Awka capital territory. If you remove the old general hospital, only few structures remain there.

Again it is a insulting fallacy that 2 hotels were in Awka before he came. White view. Bankhil, desires, torist garden, marble arch, choice, tracy, cresent spring among many hotels where already there when he came. And many more where under construction. Only a failed uses private investment to judge his administration in Anambra unless he attracted it himself through MOU which Obiano is doing. On security, there was no such bad picture that you painted before peter obi came. Ngige had laid a very good foundation for security before Obi came. He disbanded the fake bakassi boys mbadinuju used after the original on left the state and established the AVS (Anambra vililante service) and it functioned effectively, chasing criminal upto to lagos. When obi came he declared AVS alongside MASSOB and NARTO illegal and invited soldier to flush them. There was widespread insecurity in Onitsha in 2006 and indeed the whole state. upper iweka became a den of robbers and soldier killed and maimed innocent people. More than 700 innocent people were killed which culminated in his impeachment. When he returned the insecurity continued and reached peak in 2009. Almost all the rich fled the state as a result of kidnapping and bank robbery. GUO, POKObros, pete edochie among many other prominent peopple were kidnapped under his watch. People conducted traditional marriage in lagos under him. He said it was political but only fools believed him 'cos federal govt then had no interest in the state to warrant such. Infact at some oint robbers threw their loots to the public. Until peter obi left the state, upper iweka was still a den of nefarious activities. Peter obi is a failure and records of his adinistration must be set straight.

Remember at a time Apga almost became one with PDP. Yet couldnt get the fed govt to construct federal roads in the state. Until 2011 I went to Nigeria every year for many years and traveled through all the 6 zones each time. Anambra was at par or above par in all the years of Obi’s administration. Roads were paved. Schools had much more than chalk as teachers were teaching and students were learning with modern equipment: computers, laboratories, and reasonable infrastructure even though Anambra was/is a war thorn area. He had money, he was lucky to enjoy peaceful political atmostphere and sound working relationship with the president and also had enough time to execute good pprogrammes but failed.
