nonjebose:continue decieving yourself. Everyone knows tinubu is the guys atm and paymaster. Once you fall out with tinubu he uses saharareporters to demonize you. He wants to repeat that on buhari who now has problem with his paymaster tinubu. As we know, not everyone is tolerant and mature. He is now being given a dose of his rascality and there is nothing he can do, having exchanged his integrity for brown envelop. |

Ugomba:i share your sentiments. However you goofed by saying it's obvious they dont want Biafra. For me i prefer an Igbo only Biafra but how do you know what the south south minorities want? Historically they have been confused and helpless. Some of their so called leader exploit their confusion to their own advantage. People like edwin clark mobilize militants when he needs to and uses same Ijaw to fight Igbos when he needs to and even fights his fellow ss minority groups. They lack genuine and inteligent leader. Both sarowiwa and adaka boro fought alongside their opressors and ended up getting killed by same. Ss minorities are helpless, they realy want to be free but since they cant get freedom they must prophess hate to Igbos and biafra in order to show their patriotism and get better deal from the 'owners' of Nigeria thirdly, they are divided and the north exploits their division. Since we igbos are the only group that unite them we must try our all we can in helping them out. What i am saying is that you cannot gauge the opinion of an average ss person regarding biafra by listening to their selfish politicians. Only a referendum can do that. Before the war, britan claim their concern was for biafran minorities but when ojukwu offered them the option of referendum, they conducted a survey secretly and saw most of them wanted biafra and opted for military solution. A referendum must be conducted, If they vote to leave nigeria in a referendum, good. If they stay, good. Again if after leaving nigeria, they choose to stay with Igbos in biafra, good. If they want to go their own way with niger delta republic, Better! 'cos i've always wanted a homogeneous Biafra |
saint7000:he is real anioma and a pro biafran |
"Igboid" such is silly political invention. I wouldnt have bothered to comment if some supposedly enlightened Igbos didnt post in a manner that is patrionizing to Igbo division agenda All the indigenous cultures from ika down oratta and ikwerre are Igbo. The variations are just dialects. Some that we call dialects are not even variant enough to constitute one. Imagine a grown-up saying ikwerre and ogba are "igboid languages" do you even know the meaning of Igboid? What an insult on the sensibility of Igbos! people should stop engaging in the crass abuse of the word "language" someone even said that Igbo is not a homogeinous group. What an academic misfit! Do you know that a historian once suggested that the entire Igboland must have had one single ruler in the distant past, since it is difficult to explain why market days, kinship and well entrenched customs are same throughout igboland. the slave traders who visited the Niger area since the 14th century clearly recorded majority of the slaves they got as having come from the "heebo" country. The colonialist in their own account documented that two third of lower niger (old eastern region) are Igbo. These whites related first hand with the natives, spent years with them, studied their culture, religion, belief system, mythology, tradition, ritual, market days etc and concluded the igbos are one and even share one history. We will not allow some intellectual fraudsters to declare that Igbo is not a homogenous group and go further to arrogate on themselves the academic authority of making phantom declaration behind the keyboard that some igbo dialects are 'igboid' and some are igbo. If you are looking for attention and you think telling Igbo story the way it will please our enemies is the only way to get it then think again. |
Sirwilliamz:pls did u later solve this problem? If u did let me know how. |
Lalasticlala pls take this back to politics where it originally belongs. |
A jambite cannot apply for M.Sc. You can only get your B.Sc degree first before you "master" in an area. Learn igbo first before talking about a dialect. |
kogistar:good boy! |
What difference does it make? |
modath:thats what pessimists think because they mystify the elites. People like Kanu who have same spirit with trump dont. Thats why they achieve results. |
When he makes history let me know |
Funnicator:it's still better than this

Mere looking at this thread u see why Nigeria can never work. Most yorubas challeging the estimate are doing so because NBS says kano is bigger than lagos not the fact that kano's estimate was inflated. If kano is put at 18million and lagos is put at 20million by same NBS the figure will become "right" to them, any inflation that may occur notwithstanding. This summarizes SW position on national issues. Injustice from the north is injustice to them but when they begin to benefit from same injustice they attempt to explain why it is really "right" |
Obama is a fool he is the worst president America ever had. At least this latest move against Russia will push Russia into scuttling Obama's planned diplomatic move against Israel. |
Godfullsam:IPOD is no catching, he is catching himself with a consolation thread. |
...from a yorubaman who is not in tune with current trend and reality. 5 best cities to live in are: Abuja Enugu Lagos portharcourt Owerri calabar and jos would have been there but loss of oil status for cross river state leading to low commercial activities and destitutes in calabar while insurgency dealth once peaceful jos a blow making it insecure and ultimately reducing its liveability. Anyone following current trends will notice these new generation/ emmerging ones Uyo Asaba Awka Akure |
And IPOB is winning them in the diplomatic front |
siokpe:there are Igbos in Benue Mr thomas. I served with one and comfirmed it. Do you know steve crown the Gospel singer? His name actually is steve crown Okolo and his website says he is from Benue state. Pls stop playing the ostrich. |
Afam4eva:chai! see confusionist. |
Some people are now changing tones and getting more realistic. The issue of restructuring is late at this stage. That will be the last deserate attempt by the hausa fulani owned federal govt to stall the growing movement. But it will spur agitators to go for full result since half is possible. It also prove Nigeria as oppressors. I mean you claim Biafran agitator are misguided miscreants and children who have no case and at the same time granting them political concession. |
rawdpiper:i actually dont know. I just downloaded and installed it from their site. |
Op is looking for who to tempt this holy day. |
Congrats Doctor and happy survival those policemen told you the truth. Nothing would've happened if they had pulled the trigger on you 'cos they know the country is lawless. Some pple even clap for them when they shoot innocent pple. I bet your complaint will end up in the trash can. The country is not called zoo for nothing. Those who are paid to enforce law and save life end up causing lawlessness and taking pple' life with ease. |
Thanks all. I downloaded the Internet download manager and it is great. |
rawdpiper:does it doewnload from youtube? |
Liberace:yes, but the pause option gets blurred and wont hightlight |
Pls does anyone have an idea why the 'pause' option on my mozzilla browser blur out during download. Before now i can pause my download whenever my data connection runs into a hitch and, restart it when i establish a stable connection. But the absence of the pause/resume option leaves me with no other choice than to allow download to fail and then retry it. When this happens the download start from the beginning, wasting my time and data. Pls who can help me? |
See them beating their chests over lagos. Doesnt it bother yorubas that the only product of their supposedly hardwork is lagos. The same lagos that has been the capital of Nigeria since colonial times, the same lagos that has the been the headquarters of many corporate organisations like waec, ascon etc banks, oil companies, embassies, Igbo owned markets like Alaba, Balogun etc the same lagos where some key federal institutions have their headquarters. The same lagos whose seaport and airport through delibrate fed govt policies, robbed other seaports and airports of patronage. They even boast of being liberal and crime free yet lagos crime record is worst in the country while UN declared the SE the best place to live. The day Nigeria's dysfunctional politics of development removes the economic monopoly it places on lagos, it will fall back to the present ghost-mode status Ibadan enjoys notwithstanding its geographical location. If yorubas are peaceful why is lagos still their only city. Why does Igboland have the most modern, emmerging, flourishing cities in the country? They know this thats why they clutch desperately to 'one nigeria' but their cup will soon full |

that Asari dokubo is supporting biafra does not mean that the ijaws want Biafra. stop living in delusion.
