Lets learn to respect ourselves.
racist comments?? I think u would rather say tribal comments coz we are all blacks. Blacks are race of there own. And lets learn to ignore these st.u.pid kuffours and mensahs. Na inferiority complex be there problem. We had figured out the social problem ghana had and thats INFERIORITY COMPLEX. They use us as yardsticks to achieve there success but we dont even think about them or no knw whether they exist. For me ghana is simply an overhyped slave camp
I totally agree with the observations about interiors. It is sad when people beat their chest to say they built their house for N100-N200million. Yet when you enter these buildings, there is nothing to wow you about them. Government buildings are even the worst culprits. Visit some of our so called muti-stars hotels and you will be disappointed. The interiors lack character, you don't know if it is Contemporary style, Classical, Art Deco or Minimalist. They just lump everything together, creating a horrible collage of mis-matched elements.

I used to live and study in Italy where I got a Masters in Interior Architecture. I took for granted that my services will be hot cake in Nigeria, but On getting back to Nigeria. I found out that most nigerians will spend millions on blockwork but won't want to spend a quater of that on their Interiors.

Secondly, most people here still don't know what the whole concept of Interiors is all about. They wait until the entire building has being completed and plastered then, they call the Interior Architect to come and do the painting and POP. Not knowing that it goes way beyond that. Interior Design should include Spatial planning, circulation, space layout, Natural and artificial Lighting, furniture distribution etc. the Designer should be involved as soon as the floor plans are ready. He should be given a copy of the building plans to edit and input his own design right from the onset before construction commences.

It is important that the Designer is responsible for even the tinniest of details down to the location of light switches and dimmers. It is all of these tiny details that come together to give that wow factor to every interior. I know some clients are difficult to convince, but after a good project it shouldn't be a problem. I just finished a Restaurant in Asokoro, Abuja. And it was only after we completed the project that the client truly understood and appreciated what I had being saying all along.
wats the name of the hotel? Tell us and who do we ask

Richardid: Sometimes i wonder when pple say that Ghana has a stable and growing economy, the fact that nigerians and other foreign nationals are doing business in Ghana does not make it a pleasant place to live in. Nobody live in isolation the world over,no matter how remote a country is, u must see pple from other climes co- habiting with them, this however does not make the host better. Accra and kumasi r the only places that hv a civilized living in Ghana, the other places r glorified villages.
even kumasi is a shit hole! Its like aba. The houses are dirty. When my uncle visited there so called second largest city it was funny LOL he couldnt believe wat he saw and the hypes about ghana of a thing. My biggest headache is that nigerians dont knw wat they hv got. We hv many big striving cities scattered all over the country and maybe the idi/ot called otumfour (LOL wat a funny name) could hv been smuggle into the country and live in one shanty lagos bridge and think dats nigeria. Wake up my fellow country men! Nigeria is nt as bad as u ppl think, our problem is dat we havent reach were our mates and the big leagues are which include south africans and probably egypt. Ghana is a hell hole LOL the testimony of my uncle and the picture we saw of the so called second largest city was repulsive.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Ghana To Deport Illegal Immigrants by Nonybb: 6:07pm On May 20, 2012
otumfour: grin grin heavy weight huh ignorant bastard, I enjoy better electricity, water, peace, healthcare, roads, internet service than ur so-called heavy weight country; keep deceiving urselves Nigerians. grin grin grin, don' hate tha game dude, we juz gat our priorities right, till u puccy-fo0l and ur ilk start growing some balls like (Ghanians) real men (and I ain't talking abt being a keyboard Captain Nigeria like u are) in facing ur proudly corrupt government, all tht baby talk grin grin u posted up there no dey hold water.

oh yes! and we do anticipate more of ur ilk wud come on here an cry more baby talk than urs grin grin, I actually enjoy reading them. PUCCY'S

KOBOKUNKIE THA REALEST wink
look at an id/iot telling me he enjoys more road, electricity and co. Let me tell u stu/pid boy, nigerians dnt even knw that there was a country called ghana. Our priority is to compete with SA and nt some filthy slave camp. When ur hole economy compete with LAGOS then u can even think of tryin to match nigeria. Most of this ghanaians dont even knw how nigeria is structured, dats my pain. Have u been to PH, banana island, VI, akwa ibom,(i dnt want to mention the hole of lagos coz dat would be an unfair comparison knwing how small u ppl are, coz even the whole mobile subscriptions in nigeria is bigger than ur entire non entity country). Hv u been to enugu, kano, owerri or even asaba! Let me nt talk of ABUJA cos it can neva be a match to any ghana busy city. Its planned to the highest level so i talk about it to u fools. The hole nollywood film shot are done mainly in enugu so a greater percentage of nigeria actually is can neva be perceived by wat u see on ur TV screen. Nigeria is a country that inherited too many population but our infastructures are growing at a rapid rate. Lagos alone under fashola hv constructured more roads than the entire ghana and liberia hv built since there independence. Talk of electricity we generate close to 5000 mega watts but gas supply hampened full uttilization while ur bush like country generate only 1900mw of electricity which cant even be sufficient for lagos. Rem we can quit supplying ur bckward country gas cos when nigeria sneezes ghana freezes! Anytime u talk of ghana talk of lagos. They are two comparable places. In term of water ghana is no match coz water generation in ghana cant be sufficient for lagosians to flush there toilets. Health care facilities at NTH and national hospital ABUJA are no match and may nt be obtainable anywhere in ghana! So shut up fool!
Foreign Affairs › Re: Ghana To Deport Illegal Immigrants by Nonybb: 3:54pm On May 20, 2012

This country called ghana(small letter intended) is really an inferiority complex set of ppl. Whenever they re higher in anythng compare to naija whether true or false they become so happy. For there info we dont even compare our self with any african country, wat we compare our selves with are japan china indonesia malaysia etc. So why being happy comparing with u ppl. Most nigeria to be honest dont even knw theres a country called ghana but whenever things or events happens in naija there media would report it like its there national story. Since ive lived in this country i ve neva seen a headline of our news letter on ghana. For some of us ghana is a bush place. Thats why most of there dirty bleached guys flog our country for movie set. A country whose populatn hv 90% dark ppl hv almost 95% of there tv screen goddess appearing fair in completion. Wat a typical inferior country!

Kolababa: TB Joshua is gifted by God, no doubt about that.
Although I am a Muslim but I normally tell people to stop condemning this man. Only God knows who truly worship him and only He, God know his true "Men of God". Not by miracle or annoiting because the pagans also perform their own miracle. That is why Jesus said that not all that call me the lord will enter paradise. Infact, we would be shocked on the judgement day that many that we are calling "Men of God" would be disowned by Jesus because their secret is full of sin and corruption.
Mind you, during the fuel subsidy struggle, TB Joshua, Pastor Tunde Bakare, Baba Kumuyi of Deeper Life and Baba Kayode Abiara of CAC, Agbala Itura are the few among the so called "Men of God" that stood by Nigerians while others kept mum and some like the one in Otta publicly supported the government and their corruption.
ONCE AGAIN, ONLY GOD KNOWS WHO TRULY WORSHIP HIM.
so ur truely a muslim and u knw all these. Am impressed. U must be a yoruba muslim coz an hausa cant talk like this!!!!

Webmasters › Re: Yoruba The Most Popular African Language On Wikipedia - Jimmy Wales Co-Founder by Nonybb: 10:46am On Apr 01, 2012
Babasessy: he co-founder of Wikipedia says the languages of Yoruba in West Africa and Swahili in East Africa are the most popular among the several African languages being used on the online encyclopedia.

Wikipedia co-founder Jimmy Wales, 45, says Yoruba is the most popular African language for Wikipedia, with 29,000 pages. The Swahili Wikipedia version is second among African languages with 23,000. Other African languages on Wikipedia include Afrikaans, Hausa, and Zulu.

Speaking in Lagos this week, Wales says his website is branching out from English.

"For a long time there was this sort of cultural concern as why do we have to do everything in English. What happens to local culture? Now we [are] going to have both," said Wales.

Wales founded Wikipedia in January 2001. Eleven years later, Wikipedia has become the go-to site for hundreds of millions of internet users seeking information about anything and everything. Its content is generated by thousands of self-appointed editors who write and rewrite the articles in an open, online process.

Wikipedia on has seven active editors working in Yoruba. But Wales hopes that more users for the online encyclopedia will appear in Yoruba as well as other African languages.

“Not everybody speaks English and won't," Wales noted. "So they should have a vibrant life in their own language. And that’s really great because it’s very organic and the internet provides that in a way for very low cost.”

But challenges such as internet connectivity in Africa remain. And Wales notes that getting people to work in languages besides English is not easy. The English version of Wikipedia has nearly four million pages, far more than any other language, though several languages such as French, German, Spanish and Russian have 800,000 pages or more.
