This whole black lives matter is purely fueled by politics. You see, this movement is backed by the Us Democratic Party so the more power this movement gains, the more votes they are able to gain for elections. Meanwhile blacks are promised "free" things like free food stamps, free healthcare, free housing, free schools and child support to make their lives better but I believe that all this does is make them more dependent on the system and hence keeps them in poverty.

Black lives only seem to matter when it's a white man that does the killing, but when it's an Asian Black or Hispanic then the Black lives movement goes silent. Makes you wonder if it's fighting for black lives or just demonising the white race.

Any woman that has a guy she claims is "just a friend" can never be trusted. I say that with the experience of knowing that I have ever been that "friend" and eventually I ended up screwing her.

why is it hard for you to understand the concept of "entry level smartphone". 1GB RAM when optimised on an Android Go phone is capable of handling all basic tasks and as long as it's not used for gaming it will be just fine. Even that 2800mah battery can last all day long.

If someone opens a thread that he has problem with his xiaomi, the the full army of xiaomi fans will attack him and say he is lying that he's a tecno marketer. But when someone opens a thread that he has problem with his tecno xiaomi fans again will come with their full army to attack and curse him that tecno is not a good product. I think the tecno fans are slacking behind allowing xiaomi fans to overshadow them. Maybe because xiaomi fans are more outspoken.

man, all chips heat up. Even the mighty SD855 and the likes. Prolonged gaming will always cause a phone to heat up. That's why companies that make gaming phones have gone as far as including cooling fans. So stop with the old repetitive complaints. In my opinion if a smartphone doesn't heat up during ordinary usage, then it's fine... coz gaming is a whole different issue.

Some of this info is false. My Realme 5 has been on Android 9 since I bought it. How are they going to release 11 when it never got an android 10 update.

I saw a lot of people online complain about the latest miui 12 update saying it causes such problems. Your best hope at the moment is that they release another update to fix the problem, just manage it as it is.

Gcam won't work coz there's no port for it to support that phone model. But Google assistant is a basic feature with all android phones so it should be able to work. Just try updating the Google play services

Infinix Note 5 (bought 2 yrs ago. Still have it but screen is cracked)
Realme 5i (have had it for these past 3 months)

7 inch phones are so rare only one I can think of is Infinix Note 7 but that's around 70k. Maybe you just need a 7 inch Tab. But even those may be beyond your budget if you insist on getting a 4G enabled one. Consider looking at Samsung A series Tablets.

Imagine the S20 series came with a micro USB in 2020 and claimed not everyone in Africa have an issue with it how would that make you feel? typeC has been the standard for almost 3 years now if not more... Unless of course you are just following the trend... If they can maintain 2, 3 or 4 devices from their past with the typeC port why don't they continue? Why regress? Is it all for show? At least their so called FLAGSHIP should have it.

I can't claim to understand why they insist on using micro USB, but I assume that it's coz it's a cheaper alternative that's why they only used the type C on their expensive phones. My point however is that there's no big deal fussing over the type C. You're basically just complaining for a mere shape of charger. Micro USB is also able to deliver 18W fast charging as seen on the Note 7 and also in the Note 5 which I personally owned for almost 2yrs and can confirm it charged pretty fast.

well, Infinix used type C on its "Zero" phones since the zero 4 so it's not something new. Tecno has also used it on its phantom series. To be honest, I believe the reason why they stick to ordinary USB is coz it's cheaper and at the moment most African consumers have no issues with it, so there's no real need to make the switch. But the more it trickles down to cheaper models of popular brands like Samsung and Huawei, Infinix will also be forced to adapt it... it just needs to become more of an industry standard. But at the moment there's really no value I can see from it if it's just going to be a 2.0 version type C

Lol, you guys have a real hard on for Type C. If a type C port is a 2.0 rated version like the one on this redmi 9, then it's just as good as an ordinary micro usb coz it won't support any extra features like video out, audio out or that extremely fast charging that most flagships use, and that's coz flagship type C ports are version 3.0 and 3.2.

The only real advantage that the redmi has is the 1080p screen. Everything else is cosmetic.

I want my daughter to be a lesbian so she wouldn't be shackled by nature's programming of submissiveness to men. She wouldn't feel a natural desire for a partner who is physically and emotionally stronger than she is. She wouldnt need a partner that is more financially capable than she is. These things won't matter to her. She will only want a partner who would love her. This is what relationships should be based upon not the stupid yearning heterosexual women have for men that are better off than them in every department.

very ignorant post... For any long term relationship to exist there needs to be a power dynamic in which one person assumes control and superiority over another. U may think that just because they're the same gender then they live and treat each other equally but that's not true. That's why even among lesbians there's the manly one and among gays there's the ones who act like women. Yeah, the whole section has become toxic. Even the popular tech bloggers like miss techy, HennryO, Eric Okafor... They're bashed and insulted for simply making Tecno reviews yet they also review all other brands as well. There's just no room for civil discourse and discussion coz insults start flying almost immediately

Thanks for making this thread. I personally have over time lost interest in the phone section because of these people, especially the Xiaomi marketers. When Xiaomi people post and rave about their phones you hardly find anyone bothering them or trying to promote another brand but when you point out something negative about their brand they immediately label you as Tecno marketer.

And then when someone dares to say something positive about a Tecno/Infinix phone or opens a thread about the latest Infinix phone he's automatically labeled a marketer and therefore his contribution becomes irrelevant. There's just so much hatered and viciousness in these comment sections that of recent I decided to just keep away from the discussions.
