I don't care about being labeled as "homophobic" but the fact is that gay people are disgusting. Dimensity 1000 would be a better option. Coz even it's lower version (Dimensity 1000L) is already the most powerful midrange chip, beating out all SD 700 series processors.

when I talk about cheap I'm talking about phones that start off in the 20k price ranges where the likes of Xiaomi and Samsung do not participate. And as such this image of being affordable is carried on across the entire brand. I understand people are not tech savvy and most won't mind about things like processors coz to average users that's is pointless. Things people mind are battery size, storage space, internet speed, cameras and the overall design. When u start talking about "Snapdragon", "type-C" no one really cares about that.

It's funny how you guys come in here in your small eco-chambers and think you've completely tilted the market space. Regardless of how we all feel about transsion phones, the FACT is that their brands are going strong. Not because people are so ignorant or that their phones are far superior, it coz they offer people affordability, good specs, good marketing and after sales services. The likes of Xiaomi have completely ignored African markets coz we have low purchasing power and therefore as far as I'm concerned I see Tecno and Infinix continue to hold a significant majority share in the smartphone space.

I see no reason why anyone in their right mind would switch from note 8 pro to a poco F1. The Poco probably has a slightly better processor which may not provide any difference in real life usage and that's it.

now that's the real deal. But to be honest I tried searching for that phone online and the best prices I could find were around $250 on bangood and Ebay. Other reputable sites like Amazon, gearbest and AliExpress don't have it. so I don't believe it's as cheap as you're implying but if you got any good sources send me a link, I'm interested.

if it's a good quality screen it will still look good regardless of the resolution.

i use like 4 generations above that but lets talk about iphone 6 show me any android in par with it that still works fine and still fluid plus the camera still as powerful as most flagships of today, only a few months ago it stop receiving updates but i still see ppl using theirs without a single glitch. I have seen a lady using iphone 5s to run heavy apps like snapfinger and instagram and it works flawlessly which android of its kind still in existence now. I will wait

I think in the days of iPhone 6, android phones were just not as powerful as apple. But in recent years that gap is so greatly reduced. Otherwise iPhone 6 was released at around the same time as the Samsung S6 and when I do comparison I see the S6 can also still handle most modern apps without a problem. It's only problem is that it heats too much and battery drains faster.

In my own opinion a phone that cost #55000 and above in 2020 should have

1)1080p Resolution and above

2)USB Type C port

3)4000mah battery and above

4)Helio P60 or Snapdragon 660 and above

5) A decent camera

6) 4gb of ram and 64gb of rom and above

7) support for 18W fast charging and above

If it doesn't have all of these that means it doesn't give you value for your money

only thing the note 7 doesn't have here is the 1080p and type C. But it makes up for that with better processor, more storage and bigger battery.

Both are good phones. The difference in processing power should be hardly noticeable unless you're a hardcore user. So the way I see it, it comes down to 2 things size and battery capacity. If u want something portable, go for s10e if u want better battery life go for A71.
Personally I'd chose the A71 coz I like big screens and good battery life.

For its chipset alone, I'd say for once Apple has a very good pricing. It will definitely have flagship level performance. Unfortunately for myself I'm not an apple person so I can never see myself own such a phone regardless of the price.

Imagine we're talking about a TV in terms of ROM, RAM and Camera megapixels �

well, obviously this is not their "flagship" that's usually the "Infinix Zero" brand, but I agree that 720p is a letdown regardless of the screen size considering that the Note 4,5 and 6 all had 1080p. But sometimes there's more to display quality than the pixels and if this lower resolution helps bring the price down I don't mind. Last yr's note6 was given a very good FHD amoled screen with a premium metallic build and the phone felt great in hand but was equipped with a rather weaker processor, so I'd rather take this Note7 with its 720p screen than go with the Note6.

But all these comparisons you're making only serve to prove my point, that a phone using a G70 chipset is a fairly high performance phone and does not deserve to be rubbished and quickly categorised as a 35-40k phone. At least I already proved to you that it's more capable than SD 625, 636, 665.

I don't need to compare them. As I mentioned in my reply they you quoted, I am currently using an oppo Realme phone so I don't need you educating me about the brand. But like I said you cant keep making price comparison with a phone when you know that that's not the final retail price. I've never bought from jumia but I'm sure like all online businesses by the time they have that phone shipped in you have incurred more expenses for shipping and taxes.

I did not dispute that. And if u read my previous reply about it I admitted that it was the only phone of all that you listed which was actually better. But I also noted that if you wish to make a proper price comparison then consider getting a 6/128GB variant of the phone then we can compare prices and see.

Once again you're making your basis purely on screen resolution otherwise i don't see much similarly between the two. We're looking at the following differences
G70 chip Vs P23
6/128GB Vs 4/64
Bluetooth 5.0 Vs 4.2
5000mah Vs 3900mah
Fast charging Vs standard charge
Gorilla Glass 3 Vs ordinary glass
48mp camera Vs 13mp

And that's just the obvious differences, we've not looked at GPU, LTE bands, storage speeds, actual camera quality, build quality, or the actual quality of the display pannel.
There's absolutely no way these two phones even come close to each other. And although Infinix itself is not among the best in terms of overall product quality, it's still miles ahead of the likes of ouiktel.
And also consider that the price for that phone is not the local retail price since the item shows "shipped from abroad" in a retail setting it would still be significantly more expensive.
