shogsman:bro just stop you're just making a mockery of yourself. The image you've attached is for P70 not G70. Please set yourself straight and do a proper Google search and get the facts. I use a SD665 Realme 5 smartphone and even it is not as good as the G70 chipset. All reviews and tests I've seen online prove it. |
jericco1:bro are u serious? Or are u just playing dumb. Fast charging has existed way before Type C. So u think all the previous flagships that existed before type C like Samsung's S6, S7 didn't have fast charging?? I personally owned an Infinix Note 5 and i could fully charge it's 4500mah battery in about 1hr40mins. It's true that Tyce C can allow for an even faster super charging but that depends on whether the chipset supports it and if the battery is configured to charge that quickly. |
shogsman:I think your basing your conclusions purely on screen resolutions. Otherwise the only phone of those you've listed that actually somehow stands a chance against the Note7 is the Nokia X7 with SD710. Otherwise the G70 chip is way stronger than SD636 and don't even talk about that out dated 808 coz in 2020 it's pure garbage. Not forgetting that the Note 7 offers a more recent Android 10 with a far superior battery than any of the phones you posted here. And to make matters worse none of those phones you posted is anywhere as cheap as the 40k price you're suggesting the Note 7 be sold for. And finally if you want to make a fair comparison please look for the price of the 6GB/128GB variants of these phones so we can truly see the price variations coz the Note 7 is not a 4/64GB So like I said in the beginning the only advantage any of these phones holds is a higher screen resolution and if that's a deal-breaker fro you, I can understand coz maybe you're used to good looking displays, but don't use that as a basis to undercut a phones value and conclude that it's only worth 40k. |
shogsman:Wow, so for 35-40k you want to get a brand new phone with *Gorilla Glass 3 screen *6GB/128GB *5000mah battery *Helio G70 *Quad Camera setup *18W fast charging *Full screen punch hole display Show me any phone that you can buy right now directly with these specs that will cost less than 70k. |
ZesusHVWritter:bro, just drop the camera argument coz a lot of companies do this. The camera lens may not be be 64mp but through software stitching it's able to combine multiple images and produce a 64mp image. Xiaomi did the same with their 108mp camera and a number of different companies have been doing this. While I accept it's a bit of false advertising, you can't argue with the results coz if you check the produced image it will have all those 64 megapix even when using a 25mp lens. |
In my view this is a low budget gaming phone and that's all to it. Nothing fancy, nothing to excite or suprise me. Only real drawback here would be the 720p screen but I understand that lower resolution allows for higher game frame rates and also lowers battery consumption. Otherwise if it's battery supports fast charging, then I may not mind the micro USB, though I don't get why they can't just switch to type C for christ's sake. |
Bro, just lock the VPN app so that it's not force closed to save battery. |
Hehehhehe, phones are getting outrageously powerful. It's a shame that we never get to use that raw power to its full potential. |
sunshineV:What? Just the name, coz it's called Snapdragon. ![]() |
The mediatek G90T on the Note 8 Pro is just as capable as the SD720G. So maybe improvement was made in other areas but I expect performance to be similar. In fact gaming will be better on the 8pro coz the G90T has a more powerful GPU. |
ogundeleai:well it's not Nokia's fault that Africans are poor and that there's a high demand for budget phones. Besides this model is also sold all over Asia as well. |
For its pricing, I'd say most of the specs are on point. Only real issue is that the pop up looks shaky and the 3300mah battery is not impressive at all. Otherwise it's nice, it will provide a good competition. |
ogundeleai:I don't think this was ever meant to be used as a main phone. It's something you buy for its dual SIM ability, longer battery life and very lite internet use. |
topgear:It's a 480p screen, not 720p |
Gcam is just software, u need to back it up with good hardware to get something good out of it. If your phone has a poor quality lens, gcam won't magically make it a Google pixel equivalent. |
Just relax and enjoy your phone as it is, there's no need to stress over this gcam nonsense. I have a Realme phone and it's got a pretty weak camera, my previous infinix phone was even better. Luckily my phone supported gcam and I installed it, all it's done is help a bit in low light conditions and make better bokeh effects but otherwise it's still the same crappy lens so I say again, don't stress over gcam. |
It's a good chipset for an ordinary user, if you're a phone gamer it won't be sufficient. |
Both are very capable phones. If you're into intensive use, heavy gaming then go for the Note 8 pro. The A51 is more sleek, smaller screen with an obviously better looking super AMOLED display. But if it's up to me, I go with the Redmi for it's raw power. ![]() |
drjprince:never mind him, just here being foolish. As though A51 has 5G. |
Nice phone. Only let down is bobviously that very average processor. Such a shame, I wish this year they give the P70 or G70 chipset a go on their phantom series. |
The problem I have is with people here that buy cheap 30k phones with 2gb ram and complain of the poor quality then want to compare with Samsung phones of 80k. Pliz just suffer quietly don't disturb our peace just coz you made a poor purchase decision. |
Maybe you're just not good with cameras, but these pics look so basic. Personally I'm no fan of Huawei cameras(except on their premium flagship phones) |
People are still rooting phones? Why ![]() |
I wouldn't trust a budget phone to have a reliable motor running that camera in and out. It may be spoilt in less than a Yr. |
sunshineV:At the time it was worth it. Having a Metalic build, Fingerprint, 6 inch FHD, 4GB/64GB, 4000mah battery, 4G lte with a 10-core processor. Those were some high end specs. |
drjprince:phone has never been that expensive. Even the "premium" stylus model was around 70k. |
Infinix, maybe!! Tecno, hell no!! that's not going to happen |
Most of those sensors are just plain useless... With exception of a few that I know are used for VR devices, but that would require a specific specially tuned device to work with the phone, like Samsung did with its Gear VR. |
People still fall for these "my sister" stories... ![]() |
Gabson001:it will run, but but won't be smooth, coz the phone uses a low end chip. Otherwise 2GB Ram is sufficient to play PES. |
kingxsamz:Hahahahahahha, forgive me for offending u with my exaggerations, I just meant to say that gaming is not everyone's priority. If u want to play graphic intensive games save yourself the hustle and buy a PS4. I did that and my life has been much easier, these days I only play solitaire on phone. |
It's a good thing that not everyone buys phones to play games like a 5yr old... Haha hahahahaha.. |
