You probably bought a fake. I've already seen clones of the Hot 6, hot 7, Camon 11 so that could be one. Take the phone to carlcare for verification coz I don't see how a phone with 3GB/32GB and helio P22 chip could hang for no reason.

these days all phones are the same. Best you can hope for is a better processor, better battery life and better design. Otherwise there's nothing new to offer.

Hey guys check out the latest info for the official infinix Note 6.
This year infinix is going with an Amoled display panel for the device.
Not sure about the processor but personally I wish if they go with mediatek it better be a P60 at least. If SD at least 636.

Got an update today of over 900mbs. I wonder what it is for coz usually the monthly updates are around 200mbs

Infinix is not a serious company na, note 5 is andriod one and instead of ut getting its due monthly security patch and bug fix, infinix is treating the phine like one s4 or zero 5, just check xiaomi a2/a2 lite andriod one phones, they had their pie update last year and are already preparing for andriod 10.

but we also got our android 9 update months ago. Security patch is also up to date So what's your issue.

I don't think I've ever regretted any phone I've bought. I've had a ZTE, 3 Tecno and now Infinix. But I've seen my peers struggle with some phones and among the most regrettable was itel s31, Tecno w4 for its freezing, and a refurbished Samsung note 4 for over heating, poor battery and freezing.

So after about 3 weeks of stalling I finally decided to install the android 9 update. As expected there has been changes to the UI and the phone feels smoother especially in transitioning between apps.
There is also some new added features that are not really new to me but just glad to have them by default like screen recording, dark mode, night screen mode etc.

Now here's my issue... My Fast charging stopped working and I don't know what to do.
It also seems that I'm unable to do split screen, or maybe the way it's done has been changed, I'm not so sure

I also noticed there's another update available of around 200mbs,inwonder if it will correct this issues. I'm even scared to download it.

Thats due to bad CPU hardware. The part thats hot is where d cpu is located. When it gets very hot pls drop it for ur own safety especially when charging. It might explode ( tho this rarely happens). Overall, i think u should later consider other trusted brands cos tecno is fond of using old hardware for newer phones

come on, you haven't given him a solution. Best thing to do is take the phone back to the seller or to carlcare service centre for repair. I know for a fact that Camon 11 is not supposed to get hot like that, your phone just has a factory defect so don't ignore the issue, take it back to Tecno.

why do u call the y9 a younger brother of the 3i. Y9 is better than 3i. They use the same chip but Y9 has bigger screen, smaller notch and bigger battery.

Your ignorance is to blame coz you probably weren't aware of what an "android one" phone is. None the less it's weird that Google didn't include some basic apps But however all these apps you speak of like calculator, call record etc can easily be downloaded so I don't see the problem here.

Miss me with that 720p, notched screen. Otherwise the device looks to be OK.

The only type of notch I'd tollerate would be the water drop notch that only gives room for a selfie cam and is therefore as small as it can possibly be.

Now let me coach you small about notches. IPhone ain't the first brand to have a notch on their phones, in fact notch has been in existence since around 2006 from Motorola.

The only thing you can say is that Apple made the notch design popular by implementing it on their iPhone X. Apple is just like an hype man , they make things popular and at the same time, they make it look unique.

When I refer to them copying apples design it goes beyond the notch. Notice the camera arrangement as well as the glass-like finish at the back. These are purely just apple mimics. While you're right that apple acts as a hype man for these already existing features, it's also safe to say that the inspiration of these modern day notch phones is almost purely from the iPhone x

This is the most stupid rant I've ever seen here. There's literally millions of android phone makers using this exact form factor. This is not an attempt to copy Huawei but clearly to copy the iPhone x as most Android makers have done. You talk about Tecno releasing their phone just weeks after huawei's nova but u should know that the process of designing and producing a phone takes almost a full year so even though their release dates were pretty close, Tecno probably started working on this phone 6months ago or even more so your argument is not only stupid but invalid.
Just to be clear I totally hate the notch designs so I don't really care for either of these phones here.

Iphone 6 has very poor battery life, even its camera is not really pleasing anymore. its colours are dull. But all in all iOS and android are two completely different experiences. It's entirely up to your tastes and preferences please don't consider the camera alone.

Phantom 8 was really ruined by its poor design. Even for a 2017 phone it's got really huge bezels. Everything else about it seems to be just okay for a phone in its price range and it seems to beat the Camon 11 in every aspect.

Few things I look out in a phone
1. Weight: The Camon 11 pro = 158g lighter than the Huawei Nova 3I = 169g. I give it to Canon 11 pro
2: Software/Hardware:
The Huawei Nova 3i integrates the famous Huawei Kirin 710 chipset which has an octa-core processor and clocks at a speed of 2.2GHZ alongside a Mali-G51 MP4 GPU while the Camon 11 Pro, on the other hand, features a much lower Mediatek Helio P22 Chipset with an octa-core processor which clocks at 2.0 GHz and integrates the PowerVR GPU.

In addition, the Huawei nova 3i has two variants goffering a 4GB RAM and 64GB Internal Storage as well as a 6GB RAM device offing 128GB internal storage. On the other hand, the Camon 11 Pro uses the 6GB RAM and 64GB Internal storage. However, if you want more memory for the Huawei nova 3i, you will have to let go of one of your SIM slots. I still give it to Camon 11 pro

Both devices run on the Andriod 8.1 Oreo. However, the Huawei nova 3i features the Huawei EMUI 8.2 Skin and the TECNO’s HiOS 4.1 Skin on top for the Camon 11 Pro.

3. Camera: The Tecno Camon 11 Pro features a dual rear camera of 16MP + 5MP with Quad LED- flash while having a 24MP selfie camera (with its own LED flash). The Huawei nova 3i, on the other hand, has a 16MP main shooter with f/2.2 aperture and a secondary 2MP depth sensor camera with LED flash. For its front camera, you have a is dual camera feature of a 24MP main shooter with f/2.0 aperture and a 2MP depth sensor camera.
I still give it to Tecno Camon 11 pro.

4. Battery andConnectivity:
The Camon 11 Pro apparently has a higher battery capacity than the Huawei nova 3i. It features a 3,750mAH non-removable battery while the nova 3i sports a 3,340mAh. However, both devices support quick charging and the 4G LTE connectivity.
Still give it to Tecno Camon 11 pro.

5. SIM Support: They are both dual SIM smart devices. However, the Camon 11 Pro is a dual nano-SIM device and has a dedicated MicroSD slot. The nova 3i, on the other hand, possess a Hybrid Dual SIM feature which means you can either have one nano Sim and use the other slot for your memory card or use it for two Nano SIM card. Therefore there is no dedicated SIM slot.

In addition, they both have WiFi, WiFi direct, Bluetooth 4.2 and a Micro USB port which supports USB On The Go.

6. Price and Avaliabilty:
The Huawei Nova 3I is a budget smartphone designed by the Huawei brand, but it is still a lot pricier than the Camon 11 Pro. Whereas it gives you a silightly better Camera and processor speed at N105,000, the Camon 11 Pro will be the more preferable option. The Camon 11 Pro features a bigger battery, RAM and storage options without having to lose one of your SIM slots and all of this you get at a price range of N76,000 - 77,000.

With this review, I will prefer the Tecno Camon 11 Pro for so many reason which I will some up to the fact that it's even very affordable more than the Huawei Nova 3I.

Pricing differences asides, I'd take the Huawei coz I really can't stand using a 720p screen at this point in my life.

LOL, nova 3i is not even a flagship level phone. It's midrange at best. Comparing it to Camon 11 Pro is a very fair comparison.

Same issue with my Note 5 infinix. The phone has good performance, good battery and all that but the camera sucks, my 2.5yr old Camon C9 has a much better camera. Infinix really needs to sort out this mess. I know it lays mainly with their software coz when you use a 3rd party camera app it looks a bit better, but still not anywhere as good as Tecno's cameras.

yes, but to be fair, the c11 has a bigger screen, bigger battery, more cameras(probably better), More ram and storage.

720p screen, So sad... Ugly notch, even sadder... No android 9 yet, saddest.

This camon 11 is going to be a NO from me. First of all it's got a fuckin notch... Pathetic. And then it's CPU doesn't support FHD resolutions so it's stuck with 720p for both the 11 and 11pro

I really hate these notch designs. God save us from this bullshit.
