STNWAUME: I have traded NSE close to 20ys and traded NYSE for about 5yrs so I can categorically telling that comparing NYSE with NSE is like comparing LIFE with DEATH.
Even with the few days market correction we had in NYSE we are still on top of our GAME so stop looking for the living among the dead.
If you want to LIVE LONG in WEALTH and GOOD HEALTH ditch NSE for NYSE and thank me later.
A WORD is a enough for the WISE! As they say, ignorance is bliss. I may buy into the nse from time to time but my long term investments no fit dey Nigeria |

ebuka1997: They weren’t in a bubble like tech, since the March crash tech has been seeing 300% increases but oil has been stable so there’s limited downside compared to tech. Yep. And I expect the Robinhood crew to come and meet me in the gold and oil party |

But that doesn't mean it will not fall back.

RabbiDoracle: S & P VIX is now at 30.
Please leave US, EU, Asian equities now. Please.
This is an exit call to abandon foreign stocks, bitcoin, gold, oil.
VIX will need to spike to 95 ultimately.
The assets (equity, bitcoin, gold, oil) fall has started. Na now you go know say Ninjas dey this game. Nothing is happening to gold and silver. Oil may fall but believe me owning Exxon or Total will give you better returns over the NSE in the next 12 months |
Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by nosa2(m): 5:06pm On Sep 03, 2020 |
RabbiDoracle: Once there is a selloff and the algos join to intensify the sell, there are usually no buyers. At that point, there is liquidity issues. Because money isn't exchanging hands anymore. Hence the freeze.
In order for investors to settle their margins trading, they sell anything that can be sold. Gold, bitcoin, oil. Just to free up cash.
That is why when equities fall and a freeze occurs, they face other safe haven to unload them for cash.
That was why I told nosa2 that Gold will first fall massively before it will stage a comeback. I'm trying to understand how gold take fall |

Jejebabaa: When u see oil prices crashing and u have forex u don’t want to put in equities, the best thing to do is to lock it up in dollar funds to at least preserve your capital from losing value after devaluation. It’s also a way of diversifying your assets and for someone that also have forex expenses. Every Nigerian has forex expenses. Most just don't know it |

RabbiDoracle: Bros, forget demand and supply. Global markets are rigged. Once you can accurately predict what they want to do, you will just be making money.
Gold is gonna fall and fall hard. Then the herds that are buying now will go and sell and depress it more.
It is after that time that the smart investors will enter again backed by media and start phase 2 of the move. If you look well, media assists in this bull/bear herd events. Time will tell. My bet on gold is paying off nicely. I'm currently betting on a rally in oil |
