I have always heard about this city ARUSHA, seems like it is quite famous in East Africa. What makes it stand out if I may ask? |

Certain elite families have the strong tendency to turn smaller developing nations into their private estates. forgiveness: Does your emotional rant change the fact that we were and still are regional power who had influenced the emancipation of some African countries from second colonial rule, huh?
Is Nigeria the Ambassador of South Africa who is singing the song daily to educate his ignorant youths?
Are we the one who told the South African government to include this part of history in their curriculum? Stop crying mau mau like you you are know for and accept the fact at your face. Coward Kenya did nothing.
My friend, I am talking about why we were called Gaint of Africa, you are here talking about aftermath. Shift!
South Africa has concluded plans to re-introduce history in its academic curriculum so as to enlighten its citizens about Nigeria’s role in the fight against apartheid rule, an official has said.
“Nigeria is a country that gave profile to the international pillar of our revolution in the UN and the commonwealth; it is a country that received our youth during the apartheid.
“Our youth came to Nigeria and were given scholarship; it is a country that has been very much relentless in supporting us, despite the geographical difference that separates us,” he said.
The envoy said that the unity of the two countries was important and the youth must know about it..
He said Nigeria was part of the countries that said “African cannot be free as long as South Africa is not free’’.
According to him, Nigerian public servants used to keep part of their salaries to fight for the course of South Africa, so that those young kids could be able to go to schools.

You say what? You Kenya has never felt any of our regional power. Bhahahaha! How can Kenya
Thus the recognition in 1975 of the Movimento Popular deLibertação de Angola (MPLA) provided a major encouragement to the liberationstruggle in southern Africa, marking the beginning of a more engaged commitment todecolonization and African integration. Nigeria’s success in isolating UNITA, its rolein the struggle for Zimbabwean independence and particularly its role in the Lancaster House Accords; its support to Namibia not just during the struggle but also in post-apartheid reconstruction in which it contributed about US$20 million in assistance tothe South West Africa People's Organization (SWAPO) in the 1989 elections, as wellas financial and military support to other liberation movements in Zambia, Tanzania,Mozambique, Zimbabwe, and South Africa were notable planks in the commitment toa free and united Africa. Nigeria’s support for the conduct of elections in severalcountries such as Niger Republic, are clear indications also to a commitment to thedemocratisation of Africa. These goals were also pursued on the economic and cultural levels throughvarious forms of aid, technical assistance, and civil and military training to variousAfrican countries. TayserMahiri: Of course no one in Africa is a master of their own universe. The whole point was who is better than who. We just wanted an overall winner. Kenya won hands down! All those battles you mention have been fought, just peruse back if you havent. Usually they dont last long for several reasons reasons:
1. Ghanaians are kinda softies and behaved. They wont push limits. Just a few exchanges and they leave the mad Nigerians to their own happy ignorance. 2. You cant beat SA in development so all you do is abuse them. 3. Tanzania is a nonentity. Their presence here is testament to Kenya's immense power. If Kenya wasnt here they too wouldnt. Dont even think for a moment they would sustain a battle with any country in Africa, not Naija or SA, especially, and not even Ghana. They are laidback and unexposed. The Tanzanian idiot you see here is the most educated Tanzanian. 4. With Kenya, Nigeria finally found the real OGs. Their lousy mouths were cut to size. I dont think there's anything they havent thrown at us. They are completely out of gas. Forever, perhaps!
Dont expect any serious thing between Kenya and SA or Kenya and Ghana or SA and Ghana. We have nothing to beef over. Remember the battle between Kenya and Nigeria is all about Nigeria's appetite for beef. What business do you have with Kingdoms? We have a few functionally extinct kingdoms but thats outdated stuff. Kingdoms are the main reason you have cults and very submissive mentalities among your youth. I know that because we have Uganda right next door with their formerly flourishing kingdoms. Their youths are submissive to older oppressive generations as fvck. So no! Dont bring kingdoms, I know they spell doom to modern progress. Foolishness on rampage. You guys should even be ashamed that in a forum with millions of Nigerians, only a handful of us have the time to exchange words with you guys. People like me only occasionally have time to comment on this thread when I'm extremely bored. I just cannot imagine Nigerians flocking to a Kenyan forum to challenge Kenyans for years on one single thread. It just can't happen. This is to let you know how inconsequential you guys are to us. I can see you excusing the extreme primitiveness of your fore-fathers. Europeans, Asians and even Native Americans take extreme pride in their ancient kingdoms and empires. Some in Western Europe, Scandinavia, Middle east and other parts of Asia still have their monarchies to be constitutional and widely celebrated. Your east African shitthole is not better than any of these nations. So, stop excusing your lack of history and culture with unfounded rants. Your ancestors were primitive fleeing refugees, slaves and banished outcasts from West Africa. Little wonder you guys dropped all of your African cultures to celebrate blanket, tea and biscuit parties in a desperate bid to become westernerns. |

rvp2018: Maybe this can explain why TZ is uniquely poor.
QUORA - Robert McCann, Walrus Pelt Examiner at WtfGmbH Et Cie Answered Mar 31, 2017
Just to add my two cents. Tanzania has numerous natural resources and a remarkably cohesive population by African standards. It hasn’t had any wars (or even rumours of wars)for instance and it really should be much wealthier. However it laboured under a form of authoritarian communism for a long time under Julius Nyerere and while this is no more, there is a legacy that lingers.
There is a deep cultural suspicion for individual ambition. I don’t mean ostentation. Tanzania is fine with prominent displays of wealth. It is the process of acquiring the wealth that is frowned upon. Also more prosaically access to the means of generating wealth tends to be limited to those who are already wealthy. Buying real property (land and buildings) is very difficult and extraordinarily expensive. Access to credit is very limited. Most importantly as mentioned before educational opportunities are scarce relative to the population. The bolded got me laughing out loud |

I'm not the one making definitive claims about the history of Igbos. Pre-colonial Igbo society was not an advanced one and our history, dating back thousands of years, is very obscure. This is because we were largely illiterate so couldn't pass on history to our progeny with literature (mind you, Jews have been literate for about 4,000 years). You are the one making a definitive assertion that Igbos are Jews and the onus is on you to prove it, not on me to disprove your fantasies. TayserMahiri: Yeah the whole point is that you were the most populated country in Africa as at 1960 with close to Kenya's current population which made you a giant. 45 million people in one country in the 60s was a lot of people. Thats what global powers like France and Britain could muster. Dont feel embarrassed of your national libido. There are countries that are struggling to have couples do the thingy to atleast save their dwindling populations. At the same time, we are the African country to have had the most number of Kingdoms/empires within our geographical area. Does that ring a bell? |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by Nowenuse: 9:52pm On Oct 28, 2018 |
TayserMahiri: You were never doing well. Nigeria has always been doing terrible right from kick off. I think only three years after independence you had a coup where you killed each other. You were given the title of Giant mainly because of your insane population (sex essentially). Nigeria alone has as many people as the whole of East Africa. If you guys had known recreational sex you wouldnt have been labelled giant because you wouldnt have made so many baby Ogas. Remember it was a white fellow who gave you that name. Nigeria has a large population because the geographical area has been a centre of many Kingdoms, empires and civilizations for thousands of years, just like India & China. Only an irredeemable slowpoke will juxtapose a large population with high copulation tendencies. Check out countries like Ethiopia, Egypt, Congo, they have been centres for the thriving of great past kingdoms, hence their population densities. A populated country like Kenya with no history of an empire or Kingdom, rather with descendants of fleeing uncivilized refugees and slaves from West Africa some few hundred years ago needs to be questioned. |

Yobeezy: Obinna is a comedian who came to Kenya because he knew the opportunity to develop his career path was intensed here because Nigerians didn't offer him much support in comics. For your information,I just knew obinna through our famous comic tv churchill show. Both of them are in Kenya because they obviously make good money from their entertainment concert, moreso Nairobi city is the only African city where most top African artists and rappers and also artists from other continents make more money than any other African city. That's why they find their market here to be stable.
Hahaha you're saying Kenyan entertainment industry is not functional yet just recently most of our artists, rappers and comedians bagged several BET and AFRIMMA awards in the category of the best in Africa, the awards was conducted in New Jersey and Texas in US. The Nigerian entertainment industry is too robust and advanced with hot competition and that's why any Nigerian entertainers will go to Kenya to seek relevance which they get there on a platter of Gold. Afterall, in the kingdom of the blind, the one-eyed man is king. Talking about Kenyan artistes winning African awards in comparison with Ghanaian artistes is a joke, let alone putting Nigeria in such clause. Dozens of Nigerian comedians are super rich. The richest comedian in Kenya will not even be in the top 10 list in Nigeria. |

The hype of the SGR in Kenya is just too much, something not built by the Kenyans and cost almost $3.6 billion, which the govt is regretting is till today. even the technology was not given to Kenyans,no single Kenyan engineers worked on the project,The Chinese still maintain the system, it is funny that some of the Chinese after training the Kenyans and giving them uniform told the trainees that, "now you can wear those clothes and not be a monkey again" the Kenyans couldn't do anything.
The sgr for Kenyans is awesome but for most developed countries, it is old school, hahahaa

Fierce11: Southafricans possess so much hate towards Nigerians.. This is further fuelled by the successes and growth achieved by Nigerians living in the country.. The jealousy, the hatred, the envy are just enormous.. The way their females "rush" and flock Nigerian dudes is even the most bitter thing those bastards can't take.. That's why they kill us, burn our properties and steal from us.. There's not much difference between the south Africans and some Plateau indigenes:.. They'd wait for an igbo man to suffer and develop their place, start attacking him when he's succeeded.. Kill him.. Chase out the survivors and then, take over his "abandoned" property.. Smh.. The Nigeria embassy there should better do something.
Shut up please.. I and some of my guys were subjects of racial slurs and attacks when we visited rustenburg for some "events"... Did we go there to take over their streets or sell drugs?.. Their hate towards Nigerians is not even hidden.. I was shocked when a guy on my fb posted a status explaining how he hates Nigerian guys and their "monkey faces".. I just laughed because i know that monkeys are better looking than those seagulls they have there.
Don't choose stupidity when you are offered wisdom.. I don't know if it's the "southafrican's pussay" that's making you so dumb that you fail to see all the reports relating to xenophobic attacks towards Nigerians.. You dating one person in a country of millions does not change or eradicate the act of wickedness they bestow upon us.. If The Nigerian Government are serious, they should have sanctioned the Southerners by now.. Stop quoting me son. Something must be wrong with you for referring to Plateau indigenes in such manner. Plateau indigenes are the most hospitable group of people in Nigeria. The only group of people we can do such a thing to are Hausa-fulanis. This is because they do exactly the same thing to us. They took our welcoming nature for granted and tried to began expansion on our lands. No Plateau indigene can attack an Igbo trader and loot him, at least not since after the Biafran war.
