[b]hello Gurus in the house. I use a 1999 Peugeot 406 (manual) with an xu7jp lfz engine. Recently, the serpentine belt got cut and interfere with the timing belt through the crankshaft sprocket and this made the timing to jump some teeth but the timing belt didn't cut.
I later changed both the timing belt & serpentine belt and after changing the belts, the engine started fine without any symptoms of poor performance but i noticed immediately the engine bringing out black smoke and the consumption of fuel skyrocketed very high (1ltr = 5km).
Presently, I'm dumbfounded on where/what to start diagnosing for the cause of black smoke and high fuel consumption. Please I need your advice guys on what may be the possible cause. Thanks

Note; Engine didn't have o2 sensor before timing belt incident & runs well without smoking and has good economy of fuel. Engine still runs fine now without misfire. Only high consumption of fuel and black smoke is my problem.

You need a PP 2000 to scan the vehicle and work with the codes, unfortunately ikenna is the one who can assist with Peugeot, you must find a way to get to him offline.

You just accepted what I said, any SUV in that category are mostly full size 4WD fitted with NA V8 engine, an Audi Q3 with 2.5TSI Engine would have dust on their windshield easily.

You shouldn't focus on HP rather size and weight in addition to Engine specs

One of my guy told me that check engine light is normal.. Because the car was not made for Nigeria

normal thing, mechanic use to tell me that if a car doesn't show check engine light continuous on the dash board, the car won't start ever.

The oil pressure warning light is red for a reason.. But Nigerians are used are used to having so many malfunction lights on, so even when a new one pop up.. They won't notice

I'm planning to buy a Toyota Sienna pretty soon. So basically just looking around and researching on which model and trim to go for in a foreign used one.
So I live in a new developed area with muddy roads during the rain season but then I run around in the main town a lot with fairly good roads. The only time I face these muddy roads is when going home in the evenings.
So from my situation, I need a Sienna that has 4WD that I can turn on when I get to the muddy areas and turn off when I get to town.
Which model years and trims will do?

These is the 22nd century a greater % of cars having AWD or 4WD capabilities are controlled by computer at certain time. So it's not possible for you to switch on and off the 4WD system.

The sienna isn't full time AWD but when it notices loss of traction at the front, it sends power to the rear.

EX-L has more accessories and offerings than EX, EX-L would have Bluetooth handsfree and navigation while it maybe optional in EX. in other words, EX-L is loaded than EX.

facelift happened in 2010 to 11 and Honda added alot of salt and pepper to spice the crv that year. If you like hot and spicy that model year is your choice.

Depending on source and how sharp it is, 2GR is not that expensive again supply don boku, my neighbor got a quote for 1 in 2018 for 300k for his Camry V6.

some one bought one here on nairaland for 250k or so in 2019, for his Camry also which I am still skeptical about.
