drogba: viena:Fact is, it will be much harder for an African girl who doesn’t know how to cook to get married than it would for a man in the same situation. This is a pointless argument. Girls that don’t think it’s important to learn how to cook are entitled to their opinions. However, before they attempt to convince us, they should start by finding out the position of the women in their own families. |
Why? Dem no gree give you visa? |
sexyashell:Your excuse for Kalu’s poor performance in Abia is that Abia houses “mostly thugs, traders and uneducated rich and poor citizens”. Aside from the fact that your excuse is as insulting as it is bad, I wonder how Kalu will cope if presented with the opportunity to rule Nigeria when the number of “thugs, traders and uneducated rich and poor citizens” will be multiplied several times over. He cannot handle them in Abia yet you expect him to handle them all over the country? sexyashell:I suggest you read all the pages of this thread. All your questions have been answered in great detail. |
Nne, As a rule, you shouldn't engage anyone who clearly has the IQ of a ball of twine. There are a few things of which I am certain: 1. This person is a bloke. 2. This person is not new to this forum. 3. This person has a mediocre mind which - regrettably - also has to be kept busy. Gbachi ya nkiti. Ndi banyi si na: "Isi kotara ebu ka ebu na-agba." He will soon come to understand the full meaning of that statement. Anu ofia. Ifuro k'odi. |
Mystique:Don't mind him - he keeps picking on me ![]() |

texazzpete:@texazzpete, Nice one bruv; good to hear that. I’ve done the same (largely) even though some make it painfully difficult for my typing fingers to be guided by self-imposed censorship. In any case, one continues to try. ![]() Welcome back, mate. |

This thread has developed quite well. Many points have been raised by those on either side of the argument. It’s easy to see why one would pick one side over the other. That’s always healthy. If all the name-calling is cut out, this thread would definitely serve as a standard for the many others it competes with for the attention of the many politicos on this forum. |
Granules *yeah, it can get a bit tricky* |

I like Omotola but I avoid her movies because she always seems to be crying for hours in every scene. Okay, that's a slight exaggeration but you get the picture (forgive the pun). I cannot stand that Genevieve babe because she always seems to be so up herself. That Jim Iyke fellow can also be quite annoying when he starts speaking in his forced American accent. I like the comedies (Nkem Owoh rocks!) and the movies set in villages because, at least, our ears will not be assailed by 'What's up men?', 'How ya doing, dude?', and 'Hey, girl, you wann@ know my crib?' every two minutes! |

Giorgio: ![]() Uncle Giorgio, na wetin na? You see me for dream? My signature is simply expressive of my identity and a general truth. I changed it to what it is now about a month ago because of the proliferation of threads which directly attack my ethnicity and denomination. Surely you have come across these threads whose authors, driven by haughtiness, attempt to incite nothing but hatred. All my signature does is give them fair warning so when I enter a thread, they can either start baring their fangs at me, or secure their ethnocentric and/or skewed religious views within themselves. If they choose the latter, my ‘humanitarian’ act would have paid off and many an unnecessary argument will be avoided. The choice remains theirs, of course. So, no vex, brother. Na condition cause am. I will however take your request under advisement. |
viena:No one ever suggested that choice of partner would revolve solely around this. No one. jazzy:Thank you, dear. We are proud of you too. I knew that sooner or later the sistahs who enjoy cooking for their men would surface. bluenubian: she jus better know how to F*ck goodOntop my empty belle? ![]() |
While we should blame our politicians for their greed and hunger for power, we should also not lose sight of the fact that INEC has had its fingers soiled on more than one occasion. INEC remains one of the most corrupt institutions in Nigeria – a mere tool of government and political godfathers. Therefore, do I have any confidence in INEC? My answer is a resounding NO. |
viena:See me see wahala oh. All of this vex ontop wetin na? You stated your preferences and I stated mine. Why should yours be more acceptable here? Shame on me? Ok, thank you. Perhaps before you liberally dish out your anger you should also consider that there are very many black sisters who actually enjoy cooking for their men. Should they be ashamed of themselves too? @Jachoz, I’m with you 100%, my brother. |
Shame to hear that, Giorgio. Please beg him to return. Tell him I have even started a thread in his honour and all. ![]() |
viena:I was eating oh. I’m still eating. But, it’s not quite the same is it? Over here I’m stuck with variants of potato meals and the odd pizza now and again. That’s not life abeg. I want my wife’s cooking to bring out my true skin colour. Where is the crime in that? |
Funny. |
