This is certainly not the best of times for the Niger Delta Development Commission, as its corporate headquarters in Port Harcourt, was sealed by the Federal Inland Revenue Service.

Although the reason behind the sealing could not be immediately ascertained as some staff of the commission seen outside the gate declined comments on the development.

Our correspondent, who visited the NDDC headquarters located at the Marine base axis of the Rivets State capital around 11:10 am on Friday observed that the main gate and adjoining walls had over nine stickers with the inscription, “sealed by the Federal Inland Revenue Service.”

A security vehicle donated to the police was stationed opposite the main entrance, which carried the bold inscription ‘sealed’.

A resident, who simply identified himself as Peter, told our correspondent that the seal was discovered when the staff of the interventionist agency were reporting for work.

Peter, who said he runs a business near the complex, describe the development as a shock, saying most workers returned home after waiting in vain to gain entrance for hours.

President Muhammadu Buhari has begun summary execution of ‘deviant’ Nigerians, including separatist campaigners, says a presidential spokesman.

On Thursday, Mr Buhari’s media aide Femi Adesina while excoriating the country’s major opposition party, the Peoples Democratic Party, asserted that the regime needed to “send to God” suspected criminals and other Nigerians considered as irritants to the state without recourse to the rule of law.

In a Facebook post titled ‘Speaking to PDP in the language it understands,’ the presidential spokesman accused the PDP of seeking to benefit from the nationwide chaos occasioned by the continuing deterioration of insecurity.

Mr Adesina stated that the regime of Mr Buhari would continue to violently attack and kill Nigerians suspected to be secessionists, bandits or belong to other violent groups.

Justifying Mr Buhari’s threat of genocidal violence, Mr Adesina claimed that the president’s comment was directed at all criminals in the country, not just those of Igbo extraction fomenting trouble in the South-East and South-South.

Mr Adesina justified the violent raid on Mr Igboho’s home, saying, “President Muhammadu Buhari don vex. Troublers of Nigeria are in trouble and are being given bloody noses: insurgents, bandits, secessionists, all violent criminals.”

Suggesting that Mr Buhari’s regime will not follow the rule of law, Mr Adesina said, “New Chief of Army Staff Farouk Yahaya, to have said all types of violent deviants are being sent to God to answer for their crimes, and the summary judgment would continue, till the country is cleaned of vermin.

Continuing, the regime’s spokesman stated, “We have security challenges, very severe ones, no doubt. And those challenges are being frontally confronted, with the criminals ‘being sent to God to account for their crimes.'”

TYSON FURY has reportedly tested positive for coronavirus meaning his trilogy fight with Deontay Wilder is OFF.

There were reports last night of a Covid-19 outbreak in the Gypsy King's camp.

And that guarantees the fight cannot go ahead on July 24 as planned.

A new date is being targeted later in the year with October 9 the likely option with major events in both August and September already in the boxing calendar.

Fury and Wilder drew their first instalment before the British star crushed his American rival in their rematch in 2020.

He was due to head back to Las Vegas for fight No3 two weeks from now but he will need to self-isolate.

It is understood Fury has had his first coronavirus vaccination but not his second jab.

President Muhammadu Buhari’s regime, says presidential spokesman Garba Shehu, is going after Igbo and Yoruba leaders sponsoring Nnamdi Kanu and Sunday Igboho.

Speaking during an interview with VOA Hausa, Mr Shehu alleged that the separatist leaders had top Igbo and Yoruba individuals backing them.

He also disclosed that security agencies were currently conducting investigations to uncover the secessionist sponsors and financiers.

“But you should know they have people that are backing them up even sponsors that are funding them…,” Mr Shehu said. “I want to assure you the security agencies are doing their investigation on those who are backing them up or funding them. We are waiting for them, and we don’t know where it will stop.”

Justifying the invasion of Mr Igboho’s home, Mr Shehu, who acknowledged the Yoruba separatist’s right to expression, accused him of possessing illegal arms.

Mr Buhari’s regime last week re-arrested Mr Kanu and invaded Mr Igboho’s home, killing at least two persons.

The Igbo separatist leader is accused of orchestrating the killing of 60 persons and the destruction of property in 55 violent attacks across the South East and South-South in four months.

The federal government stated this in a letter to Western diplomats. The letter, dated April 26, 2021, detailed the atrocities committed by IPOB on the instruction of Mr Kanu while in exile.

Mr Igboho is accused of planning a “violent insurrection against Nigeria.”
