Science/Technology / Re: Artificial Intelligence Can Now Steal Your Passwords With 100% Accuracy by Nwanna2588: 3:38pm On Aug 20, 2023
The news we're discussing isn't something that's just happened suddenly; it's been expected for a while now. This news should make us realise something important about keeping things private on the internet. Even when we think we're keeping our secrets safe, there might be ways for others to find out. This includes the calls we make on our phones – they're not as private as we might think. Sometimes, when we're talking on the phone, there's a chance that someone else is secretly listening to our conversation.

Shortly, we might come to understand that there's a plan that's already been made and is waiting for the right moment to be put into action. This plan might not be good for everyone involved. It's a bit like knowing that something could happen soon, and when it does, it might have a big impact on the situation. This news can remind us that we should always be careful with what we say and do, both online and offline

Politics / Re: Tinubu Files Motion To Block US Court From Releasing University Records- Gazette by Nwanna2588: 8:16pm On Aug 07, 2023
By the principles of nobility, wisdom, and transparency, it is unequivocally incumbent upon the esteemed President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to graciously permit the disclosure of his academic achievements to the former Vice President. Embracing the timeless adage, "Clear conscience fears no accusation," it behoves the President to welcome scrutiny with open arms, demonstrating his unimpeachable integrity and moral fortitude.

In contemplating this matter, let us not dismiss the profound significance of upholding the virtues of openness and authenticity. As a graduate hailing from the illustrious Nigerian premier university, my unwavering willingness to present my hard-earned bachelor's degree for public perusal exemplifies the nobility of character and commitment to truth.

Should the President possess the assurance of an immaculate past, devoid of any concealed impropriety, then surely he should adopt the mantle of glasnost, or openness, thereby fostering an environment of trust, accountability, and candour. By embracing the glasnost policy, he can reinforce his position as a stalwart champion of transparency, thereby illuminating his path with the luminous glow of righteousness.

In this grand pursuit of truth and virtue, may the President choose the exalted route that leads to the sanctified halls of truth and the invincible bastions of honour allowing the wisdom of ages and the adage of "Clear conscience fears no accusation" to guide him in this momentous decision. Let it be known that a leader unafraid to confront scrutiny, bathed in the brilliance of righteousness, shall emerge as a beacon of inspiration and hope, igniting the flames of trust and admiration in the hearts of the nation's citizens.

May the President, guided by the profound wisdom of the ages and inspired by the unwavering commitment to integrity, illuminate the path ahead, rendering his legacy indelible and his leadership a resounding testament to the power of unyielding truth.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Should I Quit My 120k Teaching Job In A Private School For Government Teaching J by Nwanna2588: 8:06pm On Aug 06, 2023
Indubitably, the noble pursuit of imparting knowledge within the esteemed confines of private educational institutions, though deemed illustrious and esteemed, oftentimes entails a laborious and arduous endeavor, a veritable test of one's mettle and endurance. In contradistinction, I espouse the notion that the hallowed halls of public schools, with their egalitarian ethos, proffer a more fortuitous and felicitous alternative, for they offer the reassuring solace of job security, a boon not easily overlooked in these turbulent times.

Moreover, it behooves us to reflect upon the portentous winds of change that gust upon the fiscal landscape, for it is known that with the persistence of subsidy removal, the specter of an impending augmentation of the minimum wage looms ever closer. A seismic shift in economic paradigms is thus foretold, and in this tempestuous tide, public schools may indeed emerge as veritable bastions of stability, granting succor and sustenance to educators seeking to weather the storm.

In this dialectic of contrasting educational realms, we discern the dichotomy of struggle and security, where the allure of the public school's bulwark against economic vicissitudes resonates with sagacity, offering a sheltered haven amidst the turbulent waters of fiscal flux. Thus, ponder upon this juxtaposition, and make an informed choice to chart a course that aligns harmoniously with your aspirations and values.

Here in Ajah, the LBS axis of the Lekki Epe expressway, I can still hear the sound of vehicular movements on the road. That now brings the question of whether the protest is ongoing. How is the state of the nation in your area?

Family / Re: Why Do Men Drift From Responsibility To Their Children After Divorce? by Nwanna2588: 10:26am On Jul 29, 2023
Abrogating parental responsibilities can be a result of the man not having anything in his name to fend for the children. For example, if a woman leaves a man who cannot pay his bills the man should not be blamed until he starts paying his bills.

One thing I never accept is third-party interference. If as a man I cannot dictate what goes on, we end it there.
Stop being sequacious and tell them how you want to run your family. Already, you have accepted the culinary works in the other room. This goes a long way to tell how lax you are.
If you cannot do it nobody will do it for you

Martin Niemoller, a prominent Protestant pastor during WW2 said this:
"They first came for the socialist, and I did not speak out because I was not a socialist. Then they came for the trade unionist and I did not speak out because I was not a trade unionist. Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out, because I was not a jew. Then they came for me and there was no one left to speak for me".

This is a clarion call for action to all the drivers in Lagos. It is an ill wind that does no one good. Be you a moove driver, nobody is particularly immune from this because those guys don't care about trackers since they snatch cars to sell the spare parts.

Crime / Justice For Emmanuel: E-hail Driver's Life Matters by Nwanna2588: 7:05pm On Jul 23, 2023
Emmanuel, a young promising E-hailer driver left his home as usual. Little did he know that it was the finality of his life.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The chronology of his death was shared in a WhatsApp page of E-hail drivers:

According to one of the passengers in the car Toyota Camry Gold, He stopped at Iyana Oworo to pick up passengers towards the Island to continue the night work till morning. He has two people at the back. A woman and a young man of 30 but the third person sat at the front.

The woman said he got a trip of N4800 but the rider cancelled so he decided to drive to the Island while helping people.

The person at the front dropped at Obalende and the woman at the back moved to the front.

While approaching Civic Centre Ozumba Mbadiwe the young man at the back removed a kitchen knife and stabbed the driver in the neck twice. The driver managed to stop and run out and the woman at the front ran after him as the blood gushed out of his neck. He was palpitating for survival but collapsed and died.

The robber who sat at the back jumped to the front to move the car and run away but a car was behind they noticed the whole scene blocked him and a few guys challenged the thief who balanced with them to fight.

He was overpowered and beaten to a stupor but still breathing till police took him to the station with them. People who observe the robber's appearance identify him as one of those Ladipo boys who piece cars and sell the parts to willing dealers. (He wore the ladipo shoe with nylon as socks to prevent oil spills)

E-hailing drivers are now prey to fuel, prey to our partners, prey to app providers and prey to robbers.

So sad. I can only add the car plate number as the scene was so gory.

The problem now is that I don't want to see it go dormant. What are the online businesses I can do to keep cash flowing in? I need to know from experts.

Your money has been sent, go to your bank and collect it.

Take your BVN, valid ID and sender and receiver details.

After you collect the status will be updated to deliver.

Business / Should I Go To My Bank And Ask Them? by Nwanna2588: 10:02am On Jul 17, 2023
I recently chatted with my overseas benefactor concerning the money I was promised. To my surprise, I was told the money was sent on Thursday last week.
Over here, I have not seen it. My worry now is whether all is well. I have never received money from the UK before. I did not have a dollar account they demanded initially, but they later accepted my Nigerian account number.
After asking them this morning they promised that they would check and get back to me.

Folks, who have received money like my case before and how did it go?
