@fukcwitme, lets say you are a cowgirl (not related to the position) and you have some horses. Recently, your favourite horse, a mare, refused to drink water. You know it would die if it continues that way, so you force the horse to a stream. It just stands there staring at the water... What would you do? Lemme help you with options.

- You could try drowning it. That way it would drink water, and then die.
You might make her change her mind by instigating something worse than what she has turned a blind eye to already (5 breakups, or the many beatings, or the drug frame-up) and then blaming it on him. It might make her see reason, but ultimately u'd hurt her or even lose your horse friend.

- You could try talking it into drinking. This is unlikely to work cos your voice cannot be louder than its inner voice of reason regardless of how inaudible it is. The dude is obviously a smooth talker. If you havnt won before, you wont win now.

- You could tranquilise it (get a lawyer for her) and pour water into its mouth. That way you can save it from dying of thirst that moment (going to jail). However, it would return to its ways when it becomes conscious and probably die of thirst later.

- You could bring your other horses out to that same stream and let them drink in its presence. That might make it see what it is missing. (This is much like kandii's advice).

- Lastly, you could just leave it by the stream and hope that with time, it eventually sees the need to quench the thirst. She needs to know how bad her condition is for her to make a move.

At times, the best you can do is force it to the stream.
At times, there isnt much we can do for others but let time run its course. I believe this is the case.

I have a prob with someone kneeling FOR HIS pastor while worshipping God. If the act is for God, why didnt the pastor or the church kneel too? Or was it only GEJ that was in God's presence?

Check up scriptures and see how servants of God like Peter and even an angel reacted to something like that and you would get my point.

Forget the trashy talk about love, love is not a constant. Its capable of dying just as much as it can blossom.

Religion isnt a matter to be handled lightly. Many people are passionate about their religion. JWs are passionate about their beliefs.
What happens when your beliefs clash and she refuses to bend cos its against what she believes the bible teaches?
What happens when she refuses to go to your church with you?
What happens when she refuses to celebrate christmas or the other festivities cos she takes exception to the origin?
What happens when your own family do not like her for her religion (many people do no like JWs, at times for no good reason)?
Would you still be ok with it?

For the sake of your happiness and hers, do no marry anyone with major difference in religious beliefs whatever the denomination. Do not make a fake conversion either, cos you would only pile up disagreements for later.

These things have a way of putting a strain on marriages.
There are few things as bad as a nightmare marriage. Hope you make the right decision.
