Jolar101:So that's the message you've been desperate to pass all along?.. Okay I've heard you, but that doesnt change the fact that he's far less of a looter than all his recent predecessors. |
The kind of embarrassing lies and propaganda churned out by the media wings of IPOB is an embarrassment to humanity. I just read about the NUCLEAR ROCKET purportedly built by an IPOB engineer who returned from Russia. The story happily being spread by IgbereTV and Radio Biafra. These are the sort of foolish propaganda they use to encourage and incite hungry illiterates to go confront armed trigger-happy policemen and soldiers, the poor brainwahsed victims believing that Kanu will unleash nuclear missiles on Nigeria. I never believed imagined this sort of stupidity could exist close to me... ![]() BREAKING! Rusia Based Biafran That Came Back Home Last Yr Has Build a Nuclear Missile (Biafra Satan 404) – Radio Biafra |
Uteghe:@Op you are most likely right. The policemen definitely attacked IPOB members with teargas, but the only casualty seems to be the guy who was allegedly injured by the teargas canister in the picture below. www.nairaland.com/attachments/5823371_ipobarmyekwuloabia_jpega36e73ba6e839ec6495e397c4da16b09 The picture of the other dude lying on the floor which was circulated yesterday is an old pix from the archives. http://www.ikibase.com/2017/01/20/donald-trump-solidarity-rally-turns-bloody-in-nigeria-as-security-operatives-kills-11-ipob-members/

Abudu2000:Lol... Bros abeg go find food chop and stop quoting me... SErious minded people know that man shouldn't live |
Jolar101:Mr Man, the only reason I am still responding to you is because I am assuming you are just trolling and trying to be funny. We were comparing the last admin and the current admin and you asked what makes me think the current admin is poorer. Once again, I do not have an answer to that your question so please take the question elsewhere, maybe you can take the question to a primary 2 class, I'm sure you would get an answer there... |
Jolar101:You should have told me earlier that you were only a comic troll. Then I would have properly understood the motive behind that your question. |
Abudu2000:You know what?.. I just recalled that food is the only thing a typical black man knows, so you can be excused. ![]() |
MosakuAW:What is this one talking about?... The most important thing in such transactions is the cash... |
From $78?... What kind of report is this?... Is it 78 or 28? |
Abudu2000:Spending on defense is never a waste, and locally producing something that would typically have been imported is a very commendable move. Gosh! One just has to wonder what is wrong with the reasoning of some Nigerians who just feel evrything must be criticised. |
bahaushe1:Thanks for the clarification; but let's not forget that GEJ drafted the budget in 2015. |
omohayek:30 years?.. Your fears are already playing out at the Abuja to Kaduna rail where Amaechi arbitrarily increases/reduces ticket prices purely based on politics and zero business consideration. Imagine fixing the fare at a subsidised rate of N900 (probably cheaper than catching a bus), and then coming on air to celebrate making N30million monthly while the operating cost was put at N56million/month?... That rail system is already on the road to perdition, 30 years is wild optimism... |
Dollyak:I didnt downplay the importance of power, I only pointed out that everything else doesnt have to wait till power is completely sorted; there's nothing wrong in working on them all simultaneously. |
majekdom2:Yeah I get your point, railways and oil cannot be compared like for like. But I think the message from the title was clear enough to me |
Alitair:There is nothing wrong with building rail systems. The only thing wrong is when a successor abandons a project because he wants to complete only fresh project in his name. Government is a continuum; Duke started the Calabar monorail, Imoke continued the project and Ayade completed and commissioned it. Similarly, GEJ started the Abuja to Kaduna rail project, PMB/Amaechi completed and commisioned it. Today Amaechi is starying the Lagos to Kano and Lagos to Calabar rails. The projects will definitely not be completed in 4 or even 8 years and it is the responsibility of who ever takes over as the successors of PMB/Amaechi to continue and complete the project from wherever Amaechi stops. FYI, Amaechi isnt the one who abandoned Rivers monorail, Wike is. |
majekdom2:A robust railway system is a vital tool for diversification; power also is. Are suggesting every activity on railways should be put on hold while we work only on power? |
Alitair:I'm not sure I understand your point. Who is abandoning a project?... You were calling on an ex-governor to come complete a project he started when he was governor; this is despite the fact that there is currently a governor in the state. Or are you suggesting Wike should step down as governor for Amaechi to take over? |
majekdom2:A robust transport infrastructure and availability of power supply are the two most important ingredients for industrialisation. An industrialised Nigeria is a diversified Nigeria. |
Alitair:Is there no current governor in Rivers state?... Or is the governor of Rivers in coma that you want an ex-governor to come continue a state project he started?... Clowns everywhere! |
chie8: A joke right? |
yaki84:No I am saying oil accounts for almost the entire Togolese economy. ![]() Of course your teachers who told you that oil is the mainstay of Nigeria's economy weren't dull. That statement still holds true even till the next 10-20 years. Remove oil suddenly and Nigeria dies instantly... |
yaki84:Haha... The more they look, the less they see... Uncle, 15% of Nigeria's earnings might have been quoted to come from oil, so where do you think the remaining 85% comes from?... Yam exports? 15% might be from direct oil sales while almost 80% comes from tax receipts. Now which industry do you think contributes 90% of those company tax figures? |
Keballl:Once again, my post on this thread was in response to a clown who labelled PMB a curse for being unable to meet ASUU's demand, but in the same post, the clown claimed GEJ was a saint whom he missed. I simply drew his attention to the fact that even GEJ who earned more actually failed to offset the same ASUU debt. Mr Keballl, except you are trying to tell me you do not have the basic comprehension skills expected of an adult, I do not understand why you still cannot understand my simple point that my comments on this thread were in direct response to the clown I originally quoted. Even the person I responded to is aware he was only trolling, hence he didn't bother with an argument. What exactly is your own problem?.. Do I need to break your head and pour knowledge into it before you understand simple English?... Please stop spewing nonsense in my mentions... I have asked you to provide verifiable data to the bold above and you have gone mute on that.I might not have exact figures regarding how much was made from oil, but my conclusions are based on average oil prices and oil production levels between both administrations which makes it clear that the current admin has earned far far less than what the last admin earned (a very simple logic for anyone who cares to know). Meanwhile you can make your estimates with these 2 reports below which give you an insight into 'possible' figures: http://sunnewsonline.com/buhari-earns-58bn-in-27-months-to-jonathans-454bn-in-6-years/ http://www.vanguardngr.com/2016/08/jonathan-nigeria-earned-n51trillion-crude-oil/ I know you may claim the reported figures are fake, but they were never disputed by anyone. You can kindly give us you own figures too if you think these ones are fake. |
Blue3k:Is Iron-Oxide magnetic? |
ahaika23:I said what lives did he impact in 2015?.... There's nothing dumb about the question. The year 2015 is a very level playing ground to compare gej and his successor because at least oil price was low in that year and that was the year the whole economic crisis started. |
AmadiAba:Nigeria has about the worst set of unprofessional trigger-happy military and policemen that could end innocent lives for as little as N20 bribe, that is an already established fact. But do we really have to dig up old fake pictures from the archives to promote out campaign? @Op, you know the picture you posted above is an old pix right? |
Keballl:Aha.. instead of respecting himself by being quiet, he has resorted to another baseless rhetoric to justify his lack of focus. You claim I only 'pretend' to be objective, that's fine. But at least I'm far better than a person like yourself who cant even 'act' being objective. My first comment on this thread and infact, all my comments on this thread were directed at the clown who decided to politicise ASUU matter betwrrn GEJ vs PMB... I made that clear to you severally, but since in your wisdom, you have chosen to insist you made no mistake earlier by castigating me, kindly prove this your wisdom by pointing out where I inferred (even if it's on another thread) that govt shouldnt pay ASUU. I dey wait! |
ahaika23:Abeg what lives did GEJ impact in 2015 with a budget of less than N20bn for Works ministry which saw hundreds of contractors abandoning sites amd sacking workers? |
ahaika23:Even a child knows that you cant give what you dont have... You cant pump forex into the market if you dont have enough forex; reason why the CBN had to build up reserves which had fallen badly to $23bn as at September last year up to $30bn earlier this year before it resumed pumping forex into the economy. If you are also observant, as at late 2014 when oil prices began dropping, Nigeria had almost $40bn in reserves. This money was pumped constantly into the economy to stabilise the Naira until mid 2015 when Jonathan left and only a measly $29bn was left in the reserves. Meanwhile despite pumping up to $10bn in a space of 6-7months, the Naira still fell nevertheless from N160 to N220 (and note that oil still sold above $60 at this time). Of course with reserves down at $29bn when PMB took over, every educated/sensible person (except Jonathainaians) knew why the govt had to bring up the forex restrictions to prevent the reserves from wiping out completely since the oil price kept dropping. Forex restrictions of course led to scarcity in the market and scarcity damaged the value of the Naira further. Like I said above, even infants know that you cant disburse what you dont have. But educated adults here seem to disprove this logic. |
ahaika23:Focus on the topic boy... How much forex did Nigeria make from oil from 2010-2015 vs 2015-2017?... You can use that as the foundation of your argument. Oh I forgot, you even started this thread claiming it doesnt matter how much forex Nigeria made. You also claimed only 15% of GDP is related to oil, hence it doesnt matter if 93% of the country's earnings actually come from oil. I doubt you have the intellectual capacity to discern fact and figures, so I give up. You win. Bye! |
Jolar101:Brcause it is a pointless question not worthy of a response. |
Keballl:Mr Man, I hate it when people just ramble nonsense without paying attention. Can you point out where I remotely mentioned that ASUU guys dont deserve their money or that the FG shouldnt pay?... Kindly point out where I remotely or directly inferred that from any of my comments on this thread? I made my point very clear in my last post, I was responding to a clown who claimed GEJ was a saint despite owing ASUU but PMB who inherited the debt but hasnt been able to clear it is the villain. Learn to understand the basis of comments before you proceed to castigate people. |
