Deji Adeyanju, a rabid Buhari hater... He attaches himself with anything or movement which remotely seems like it is anti-Buhari. |
urboy1:I'm just a little bit curious.... 1. IF the report of $453billion vs $58billion is really true, do you really think this your argument about the amount of money borrowed by this govt to supplement that $58billion makes any logical or mathematical sense?.... How much in total has the govt borrowed so far to make you think it is reasonable to compare 453 vs 58? 2. I guess you are among those who think the current government is being stupid and incompetent for borrowing so much in order to keep the nation going?... Just kindly take a look at the chart below which shows the nation's debt profile from 2008. In that chart, I see an almost similar upward slope in the debt figures between 2010-2015 and between 2015-2017. Now if the current govt that has received $58billion thinks it is necessary to borrow (to keep the nation afloat), for what reason exactly was the last govt which received $453billion borrowing? What was the borrowed funds used for? While we might feel a need to criticise government and destructively castigate the government of the person we hold a contempt for, we sometimes should just try and be fair in our judgements. By the way, I agree with you that some actions of the govt led to escalation of hostilities in the Delta region which led to a more than 50% cut in production levels. But even at that, do you still think 58 is comparable to 453?

The delays in this project is now nauseating; it was previously supposed to be May 2017. |
tk4rd:Stop flattering yourself bro, every state has engineers who can design roads too, and every state has indigenous contractors too who can handle these projects. But there's a reason governors (Obiano inclusive) keep falling back to those foreign (fake oyibo) contractors. See numerous pictures of Obiano and the 'fake foreigners' below: Amaechi in his first tenure for instance (between 2007 and 2011) tried to use only local contractors for all his projects and the quality of their projects left a very sour taste in his mouth; he was forced to follow the ways of others who patronised cheap (fake oyibo) foreigners. This is not to say Nigerian engineers dont have the knowhow to get these things done, but somehow, we have just refused to do anything right.

SalamRushdie:No No! Not at all... there are actually fattened extra-terrestial rodents the size of pregnant goats and the invaders had eaten off the roof of the building; tje reason why the president can't step in until a full renovation of the rodent damaged presidential edifice is completed. |
He who fetches firewood infested with ants should not complain when lizards begin to visit. - C. Achebe This is the sort of insult a country gets when it has several numbskulls as government spokespersons. Of all the excuses in the world, rodent infestation was the only thing Garba could think about. And whatever happened to just daying the truth that the president needed to work from home as he recuperates? ![]() |
IPOBrep: ZKOSOSO:Bla bla bla bullshiit nonsense... I should have known it was just another Jonathanian losers' wailing bazaar... First confused folk claims no girl was abducted from Chibok. Second confused folk claims the girls were abducted to make his god Jonathan look bad. Apparently, all the other bokoharam abductees (in their thousands) were also abducted to make one hero somewhere look bad too... Or sorry, the entire bokoharam case is fiction, they never existed and never abducted nobody.. Or better still, they abducted several hundreds and thousands of women and teenagers (including the ones they even use for suicide bombings to date), but according to the unique Jonathanian kind of warped reasoning, it couldn't have been possible that bokoharam abducted anyone from Chibok. And by the way, I keep hearing some pained losers try to console their sorry selves by blabbing about how Oby Ezekwesili was 'used' and dumped, or how she was deceived because she wasnt given any govt appointment. It isn't surprising anymore that there are so many shallow minds filled with such pathetic mentality which makes them believe everyone who fights a humanitarian cause must be doing so for some kind of benefits. |
IPOBrep:What exactly was the mistake Oby made by calling for the rescue of abducted women? |
Too bad! The really sad thing about this is that the NCC would give in to the demands of the TELCOS after a few GMG bags would change hands... Nigerians should brace up for life outside Whatsapp calls. |
fineboynl: djon78:@djon78 THe problem which boggles my mind is, how come all black societies globally have always allowed the worst in their midst to be in charge, while the best live in obscurity and penury?.... While I wouldn't want to agree with the derogatory remarks by @fineboynl about blacks, I really can't think of a proper counter-argument to deflate his logic. |
Whilst the man and every other qualified Nigerian engineer have a genuine reason to feel insulted and be mad at Amaechi's statement, the sad reality of life is that Amaechi said nothing but the bitter truth. We live in a country where when constructing even the tiniest and most insignificant road or bridge, there always has to be one Indian or Lebanese or Filipino or one 'fake oyibo' being the project/construction manager narrating project progress to govt officials. And if that's not the case, the project would most likely end up as another failed or grossly substandard job simply because the black man has refused to take charge. Just recently some Chinese 'school boys' came and discovered Iron Ore amongst other economic minerals in the jungles of Cross Rivers, meanwhile we have hundreds of thousands of geologists in Nigeria, some even professors. |
Eazybay: hollywater:Like seriously?... Am I really supposed to be comparing crowd size between both men in these two disconnected events?... And what purpose exactly is the result of such pointless exercise meant to serve?... "A crowd came to welcome Kanu at Ekwulobia and the crowd of Kanu is bigger than the crowd welcoming PMB on Abuja road"... "Yaay!!!".**dancing azonto** Is there something else the comparison is meant to serve which I'm missing?... Meanwhile, even if we were all jobless enough to start counting crowd size, do you guys think a Kanu rally crowd can match a PMB northern crowd if both men go head-on for rallies in an election? We arent in an election season and some folks think it makes sense comparing dissimilar crowd figures, and even @Eazybay doesn't think that's childish and amusing. Like I said earlier, 99.9% of those rushing to see Kanu were people who passionately supported GEJ and felt very dejected after he lost; and then Kanu and his ideology suddenly presented itself as an alternative for these sad folks. A large chunk of the Jonathan crowd in the SE simply switched gear to form the Ohamadike crowd of today, even the blind or an infant can see how the whole explosion of ipob numbers is just a pseudo protest in disapproval of a Buhari presidency; this pointless comparison thread is even clear evidence to that, so quit feigning ignorance as to where GEJs name comes into this equation from. In a nutshell, all I can deduce from these pictures on this thread is the sheer level of joblessness and fanaticism which exists in Nigeria. |
IPOB, a gathering of disgruntled Jonathanian losers. Of course Kanu would have a massive crowd, Jonathan had about 12million votes of which a large chunk switched allegiance to N Kanu as soon as GEJ conceded defeat. |
Buhari may be sick in the body, but FFK is definitely sick in the head and needs urgent help.

Nodogragra4me:Bro, I agree with you on the shortfalls in the funds released to NDDC and co., but are you aware that the 13% derivation paid to oil producing states is meant for fixing roads like this?... The 13% is specifically meant for oil producing communities but that is something that has NEVER been adhered to by state governments since 2000. Regarding the horrible politics of greed being played by dubious community leaders and elite who connive with govt officials to divert development funds, I think I would just let that one slide cos I cant produce any concrete evidence at the moment to prove my point. But growing up in that same Warri myself, I know exactly what I'm talking about. |
All these issues being mentioned are thing that should have been considered and surveyed in the original concept/design stages. All these Chinese projects sef... |
glancenaija:These losers just haven't gotten over their loss of 2015; that's all I see written all over these silly threads and articles springing up all over. They despise the man PMB so so much for no other reason other than that je won their preferred candidate in a democratic election; and while some who dont give a damn are outrightly wishing him dead, others are wishing he becomes permanently incapacitated and resigns. Whatever the case, they just cant wait for PMB to leave power. From "he is dead", to "he is brain dead and cant stand or talk" to "all those pictures are photoshopped" and now with the news of his imminent return, the new story is, "he looks like a skeleton and should resign". Such desperate losers! The most amusing thing is how they try to mask their contempt/prejudice in the cloak of objectivity. |
Nodogragra4me:Who is government? FG or state govt? FG passes the money for development down to state govt. The state govt in turn is meant to pass the money down to local govt, but since we know most local govts authorities dont exist no more, most state governments withhold the money giving the impression that it will do the job. When it then falls down to community level, it is a very common thing for chiefs, kings and other community elites/elders to manipulate/blackmail/connive with the state governments to release community development funds to themselves to carry out the 'contracts', a promise they eventually fail to deliver on while they pocket the money meant for community development. There are also numerous cases of dubious chiefs, kings, community elders etc blackmailing local oil companies to pay corporate social responsibility cash to them instead of executing projects. At the end, it isnt an unusual thing for the funds to go into voicemail. This was one of the major issues Ken saro wiwa was dealing with. So next time you see a dilapidated road like this in an oil producing community, just remember that the FG has never withheld oil derivation funds, the culprit is usually either at the state level or at the community level. |
I think Kanu has simply used his tongue to count his teeth. The election boycott order would have been a serious test of his popularity, and given the negative reactions and disapprovals the order had gotten from several quarters, including from people who even admire the Biafran idea, he (kanu) had no other option than to recant or risk being ridiculed by Anambrarians. |
People get time shaa... |
InvertedHammer:Probably... |
nobleblood:First of all, APC was formed by the uniting of politicians who had been in opposition since 1999. From the Tinubu camp to the Buhari camp, all those guys had always been in opposition individually fighting PDP; they fought OBJ, they fought Yaradua, they fought GEJ (PDP) in 2011 (except Tinubu who actually secretely supported GEJ in 2011) and they eventually teamed up in 2013 to form APC and together unseated GEJ/PDP in 2015. So how exactly did you come about that deluded interpretation that they fought GEJ because of his tribe?... Were you an infant when those same players were in the opposition fighting PDP since 1999?.. To you, it's all about GEJ your hero of course. Furthermore, everyone knows that politicians always go where they think their bread will be buttered irrespective of the tribe or religion; hence why politicians who felt disenfranchised in the PDP were the ones who left to join APC where they believed they may find favour. So please just spare us that paranoid loser meaningless story about Jonathan's 'tribe' being the reason APC was formed or why people like Amaechi or Oshiomole or Rochas moved to APC. Finally, just for your info, there were two reasons the opposition was able to eventually beat PDP in 2015. Firstly being because the main opposition parties agreed for the first time in history to UNITE. Secondly was because GEJ was a monumental failure of a president who sat there powerlessly as the collective patrimony of Nigerians was swept away by the people he termed goats even whilst he defended them sheepishly (e.g. stealing is not corruption) and hurriedly punished whistleblowers (e.g. Sanusi Lamido). So please quit playing that nonsense 'tribe' card here, you arent talking to a dunce. |
nobleblood:APC definitely has a bunch of liars and deceivers, no doubts! But those traits are just typical of Nigerian politicians of which the killer party PDP takes the lead any day. PDP's 16 year record of lies, deceit and plunder can never be matched by anyone; over $25billion And yeah, FYI, there is a very clear difference between criticising govt and wailing pointlessly. Go back and read your comments on this thread right from the first, and you will appreciate the difference. |
Magic indeed! The powder must be some kind of chemical that knocks a person off. |
nobleblood:The PDP wasn't also involved in any form of election rigging or malpractices right?... The glaring cases of opposition voter intimidations and the mega result stuffing that originated from places like Rivers state were all free and fair to you right?..... In your own delusional world, you really think the PDP would have won the 2015 election in a perfectly free, fair and clean contest right?... Oga, put yourself together like an adult and move on, even the people who lost the election themselves have since moved on. The tenure is already more than half-way gone and 2019 is already around the corner, but you're still here crying over 2015. Like I said earlier, that same emotions of anger and melancholy which still engulfs you over two years after is the exact driving force for majority of the ipob separatists today. If PMB falls and dies today, we will all watch how the ipob crowd would diminish instantly... You guys should grow up biko! |
nobleblood:Mr Man, stop wailing like a child over the loss of your candidate in an election which happened over two years ago. GEJ lost the election fair and square and the only sensible thing to do when you lose an election is to go home (which is exactly what GEJ did). So what's the meaning of all these pointless eulogies, epistles and perpetual wailings?... Na so your love for these thieving politicians strong reach?... By the way, is GEJ the first to lose an election? or is he the first to step down after losing an election?... Abeg make we hear word! 2019 is already around the corner, losers of the last election should go restrategize. |
nobleblood:GEJ didn't lose but he left Aso ROck?.. Such magnanimity! Oh sorry, you mean he should have rigged the election massively and won, but he didn't. Such is the intelligent suggestion of a person who thinks another is a fool... "GEJ didn't losses indeed" |
nobleblood:Another evidence that the whole separatist movement is just nothing but political opposition against APC/PMB in disguise. When would some people just get it into their heads that GEJ has lost the election and cannot be the president?... Wailings from 2015 election is about to be sustained for 4 good years.. TUfia! |
madone: ![]() Abeg supply the full details of the specific preaching. |
Jolar101:Mr, go learn the real meaning of the word corruption and quit this misdirected wailing. |
Terkimbi01:And my point is, what makes you so convinced that the condemnation of hate speeches by Osinbajo is because you asked Fulani to leave Middle Belt?... The most disturbing hate speeches in the Nigerian airwaves today is undoubtedly the quit notice by Arewa youths, followed by the ones spewed by the ipob gang; I doubt I've even heard of the quit notice by your people. So what on earth makes you feel Osinbajo's statement condemning hate speeches had anything to do with you?... I hope you now see why I termed your outburst 'guilty conscience'? |
Terkimbi01:Guilty conscience is written all over this your ranting epistle. The Ag. President proscribed ALL forms of hate speeches irrespective of where it's coming from, he didnt exonerate any group. So I wonder what all these your ranting is all about. |
