None of the 4 top presidential contenders is blessed with the gift of eloquence, but Tinubu's case is a bit worrisome. It gets clearer and clearer why his handlers will NEVER let him attend a single interview or public debate. If he wins the election, I wonder how international public speaking events would be handled. Even Buhari wasnt this bad!

When Obi said this, several Tinubu supporters both on NL amd Twitter ferociously attacked and insulted Obi. Now let's see what their reaction would be to this.

It is highly impossible that averagely pretty and above-average pretty ladies didn't meet serious men in their 20s. It is not possible. The problem with many ladies is that they have a very poor selection and also have a very bad attitude that chases good men away.

I am going to share my recent experience with 3 ladies and why I decided to walk away.

Lady 1: I had been chatting with this lady on Twitter without asking for her number. It has been on and off for more than one year. So about 3 months ago, I decided to ask for her number, which she delayed but later gave it on the same day.

For the records, this lady is pretty, she looks very much like Rita Dominic, very striking resemblance. Just to give you an idea that she is pretty.

We chatted a few times and then I decided to call. The first two were brief but the 3rd was much longer and somewhat boring because I was doing most of the topic or angle infusion, more like I was the one bringing up topics to sustain the interactions.

Before that 3rd call, I sent an SMS to ask if she was still at work and she replied to the SMS and said she was still at work. So I had to wait for about 1 hour before I called.

After the call, I texted her to say she has a good voice. I asked whether she sings or loves singing. It was just an innocent question borne out of curiosity because I could imagine she is a good singer with such a voice

She didn't reply to the SMS. Of course, I expected that, knowing how ladies behave over something as simple as that. While on Twitter, I asked whether she got the SMS, and she said that she saw it but didn't have airtime to reply lol...

That was a lie of course. I wonder why she would lie, perhaps she wanted to "form" or what? Ma'am, it was just a simple curious question.

I decided to take a stroll to her profile that same day and there I saw what completely turned me off. On her profile, she said people think she enjoys calls but she does not want calls and that they will think chatting her up on WhatsApp is better but she does not enjoy that either.

If that is the case, why give your number out? Why not isolate yourself from people entirely so that no one interacts with you? Are you better than those who took out time to spend it with you via calls?

I interpreted her mentality and worldview as someone who feels too important and does appreciate the effort of people who try to reach out to her or interact.

On seeing that, It was disappointing to note what she thought of others who called or chatted her up, I mean these are people's time that can't be gotten back lol.

Lady 2: This one is from Twitter as well. We started talking from a thread and I decided to DM her. I liked her energy. She was light and responsive, very open and communicative.

She started asking for my picture because I do not display my picture on Twitter. I was reluctant initially but sent it cos she persisted... after much chat, we exchanged numbers and I chatted her up on WhatsApp 2 days later. We talked about hanging out in December but she said she would be traveling to her state for the festive season.

While we were chatting, I had called before then, I simply asked whether she has entered another relationship after the last one she mentioned on Twitter.

Guess her response? she said "Do you have money to spend on my head"? For a less than 1 week interaction?

Oh, God... I knew I wouldn't want to have anything to do with this one beyond WhatsApp or Twitter. I reduced my interactions with her and it died.

For the two ladies above, I do not often remember they are on my contact anymore except when I see their status lol.

Let's move on

Lady 3: Met this one after church and we were going in the same direction. I spoke to her and we exchange numbers. We chatted, and I called. We arranged to meet up. On the day of our meeting, which was the first after that Sunday, she asked me whether I have knowledge of digital marketing or social media marketing. I said I do but it is not something that can be discussed on WhatsApp, except we meet so that I can explain it to her.

Though chatting her up was very slow as she is rarely online. She takes a few hours to reply lol.

We met and the meeting was more of a lecture with me answering all her questions. I enjoyed it anyway.

Knowing that I exchanged numbers because I was attracted to her, I had to find a way to subtly give hint. Now, here is the challenge I had. She increasingly started replying with monosyllables like "yeah", okay, no, lol, ,

On noticing that, I knew it was time to exit from her life and I did.

The above 3 ladies are pretty facially and above average... With their attitude that made me leave them alone, tomorrow, they will come online to write "Not All 30yrs Old Ladies Were Approached By Serious Men In Their 20's" lol and some persons will be saying it is true blah blah...

Girls are the architect of their own misfortune. You will see a man being a decent gentleman and develop a habit that chases them away. In the same vein, they will accept the guys who do not have any good intentions toward them.

Others may believe that thread but definitely not me. I do not believe that a girl, especially the pretty ones, will live from age 1 to 30 and never come across a man with good intentions. IT IS NOT POSSIBLE!

So because a lady says she doesnt enjoy long endless chatting or calls, it automatically makes her an unserious person unworthy of a serious relationship?

So ladies aren't allowed to like/dislike what they like/dislike? Must a lady like what you like before you tag her a serious person?

If you like long chats and calls but she doesnt, it simply means you guys arent meant for each other. That doesn't make you a serious dude and her an unserious person bro...

Whilst I wouldnt be found holding brief for hungry entitled girls, the question Lady 2 asked could just be a joke (you actually sound already like an uptight person who cant tell a joke from serious words). Did you spend time with her to establish her real personality, or you just jumped into conclusions because you already had a prejudiced mindset that women are unserious? Jumping from one woman to the other over petty things could actually mean you are the unserious one you know?

Lady 3:
No matter how decent or funny or rich or handsome you are, not every woman will like you. Lady 3 just doesnt seem to be into you (for a relationship). That doesnt make her an unserious person.

Coming from a Tinubu supporter/defender who cant live without mentioning the words "Ipob" and "Obi" in 8 out 10 of his posts; the existence of Mr Obi has clearly driven some people to insanity. I only feel pity for you cos I understand that mad people arent only those roaming the streets in rags.

SE isnt the only zone in Nigeria with ready votes waiting for Obi. If Obi was so irrelevant as you guys want to make the world believe, you wouldnt be peeing in your pants everyday talking about Obi Obi Obi ftom dawn till dusk. Like I said before, its an insult to even remotely conjure that assumption in your head that Obi isnt a formidable candidate in this election.

Peter Obi will be getting over 70-80% of the votes in the entire south east.

This has to be the greatest delusion in recent times, i.e. thinking Atiku has more crowd than Obi.

If not for the mass of Buhari northern voters who vote strictly along tribal/religious lines, and who may reluctantly tilt towards Atiku for this obvious reason, which crowd exactly does Atiku have in Nigeria? The crowd Atiku thinks he pulled in 2019 was actually an Obi crowd; if not for Tinubu who's going to take a chunk of south western votes, place Atiku vs Obi exclusively and let's see if Atiku would come close.

Saying Tinubu will win cos Obi is contesting has to be one of the most disrespectful and irresponsible gibberish I've heard in a while. Should Atiku (a Fulani Muslim) even be contesting after 8 years of another Fulani Muslim?

Even if you show them 100% evidence that Tinubu was a dealer, it wouldn't sway a single one of his supporters to switch. That's why I said it's all a waste of time.

Go back and read what I wrote carefully. Like I said, lamenting that he's a druggy or a killer or a thief or whatever is useless. Such things have never swayed Nigerian voters and it wouldnt start swaying Nigerian voters in 2023. Hence, continuously talking about it is a total waste of time and resources.

Sometimes I wonder why anyone bothers themselves with Tinubu's past records. It's a total waste of time and would amount to nothing. Even if the head of the FBI comes publicly today to declare Tinubu was Pablo Escobar's right hand, it wouldn't sway a single vote from Tinubu's camp (peope who support him already know he isn't a saint and that's the reality of Nigeria).

Just the same way PDP foolishly spent months searching for Buhari's WAEC result instead of campaigning; hopefully we would learn how to ignore certain things and focus on real matters.

Even if raw evidence is brought forward today that Tinubu (or any other candidate) was a right hand man to Pablo Escobar, the revelation wouldn't still sway the vote of even a single voter; Nigerians will still vote for whoever they want, irrespective of the baggage. We should be focusing on more important things!

This is something interesting I've noticed over the course of the electioneering season.

The educated, enlightened and exposed voters CLEARLY lean towards an OBI presidency. That explains why OBI has consistently won ALL online polls (the uneducated and unexposed wouldnt be found online).

Victory for candidates like TINUBU and ATIKU can only depend on the votes of the uneducated, unenlightened and unexposed voters in rural areas. Unfortunately, these people make up a large chunk of the voter population across the country. This probably also explains why the oppressive and suppressive ruling class will always be opposed to educating and empowering the people; cos the moment the people are educated, they (aristocratic ruling class) lose their powers.

You are right, what I am saying is, we have aeronautics engineers and technicians in this country that can propel us in this area so we are not doing catch-up. We are not good at anything at the moment and all we are doing is buying. The people making it dont have 3 heads.

Just like a few people in this thread have highlighted to you, whilst it is good that we produce or leqrn to produce some of these things, there are times (such as now) when it is economically, scientifically, politically, socially and securitically expedient to just buy them from those who have already produced them.

It's not always the wisest choice to reinvent or produce the wheel. Nigeria is currently drowning in a sea of security challenges. Now is definitely not the time to start prioritising the manufacture of security devices over buying them off the counter. Like someone mentioned in this thread, Russia with all its advancement currently buys drones from Iran. Even the US with all their advancement still buy a lot of devices from China, despite the the political/security implications.

Summary of my point is, there is absolutely nothing wrong or silly or dumb about the NAF purchasing 55 attack helicopter gunships; it's a welcome development.

Why do you think America is converting old aircraft into drones I meant unmanned aircraft. Things change 70% of their mentions are with unmanned aircraft. 99% of the logistics are with manned aircraft. You have the same view if you are in the aircraft and if you are not. If you are in the control room you can easily make decisions. The reason why I suggest drones is because that's the ones we can produce by ourselves.

My dear brother, the world hasnt yet gotten to the point where drones can efficiently and sufficiently replace manned aircrafts. Even the US you talk about that's developing drones everyday, in serious issues, they still send out manned aircrafts. Dont fall for the fictional hype and propaganda tv shows and documentaries you watch, drones arent and cant replace manned aircrafts just yet; maybe that could start happening in the next 20 years but its definitely not the reality today.

And then, did you really just say its silly for Nigeria to acquire helicopter gunships cos drones should have been gotten instead? How could you even think its okay to compare Nigeria with technologically advanced and rich countries? You expect Nigeria to replace manned aircrafts with drones even when advanced countries are yet to achieve that?

A drone would have done 80% of these jobs. All should have done was train technicians and engineers on how to build drones. We could have saved a lot of money there.

You really think Remote Control Planes (a.k.a. drones) can effectively replace the need for manned aircrafts? If that was the case, why exactly are the most technologically advanced and rich countries still bothering to build manned aircrafts and train pilots to go into battle?

The current flooding around most parts of Nigeria is a natural disaster; a result of nature's anger. This is especially so for the Niger Delta communities around the tributaries of the River Niger.

Realistically it's going to be a herculean task, but we hope and pray Obi grabs 25% of votes in just the right number of northern states. Cos I'm not exactly sure I understand how runoff elections work, but a runoff doesnt seem like it would be favourable for the Obi project.
