kingsways:Only a poor person or a young person still being spoonfed thinks there's nothing wrong with a N100,000 weekly cash withdrawal limit in a country where possibly over 80% of transactions are still done in cash. You don't get born and just start running; Nigeria isn't ripe yet for such extreme cashless policy. In a typical week, money spent on tranportation, feeding, tipping the ever hailing securiy men at estate gates or restaurant doors and many more mushroom transactions can easily add up to over N100k; many people dont even have bank accounts in Nigeria. So to wake up one morning and arbitrarily fix a N100,000 limit in a whole week? Whoever came up with such policy must be on some hard drugs. |
fuckJones:To all ApC supporters, may your lives be as peaceful as Sambisa forest, may you be guarded by the herdsmen guarding Benue state and may you be served by the amiable 'Bandits of the north-west'! Say Amen! |
Beautiful music to my ears... ![]() |
He actually did well (for the first time) in the BBC interview. No gaffes, nothing to laugh about. All over twitter and the internet, Tinubu supporters have finally found their voices and are in wild jubilation for the successful completion of the first gaffeless interview - You can clearly tell they all had their hearts in their hands while watching.... Probably if he becomes president, he would have to invite BBC to arrange all his interviews. Cos while his people claim ARISE TV is against him, he's also dodged the NTA townhall and even interviews with his own TVC. |
This Reno guy na big mumu ![]() |
JosephXavier:Na the Shiloh appearance I just dey wait for.... Even the Bishop and church members go also collect wotowoto for Agbado and Mikano group hand ![]() |
Rufai quite often gets over his head but to say he wants to kill Reno (some even say its cos of Mr Obi) has to be the dumbest desperate trash I've come across in a long time. Meanwhile this is coming from the same Reno who's well known for creating and spreading fake audio and written propaganda tapes for politics. From doctored Amaechi audio to fake Wendel Simlins fabrications against Sanusi. Dem dey find who to kill for politics, dem no say make dem kill better person na the 'small goat' wey dey exile dey run mouth for twitter? |

sonofthunder:Okay maybe not hate, but more like an obsession. What issues exactly were you talking about? Obi's campaign schedule? Can his campaign really make you change your mind and support his candidacy? Or is it his visit to churches? Churches are crowded grounds and it only makes sense for a campaigning politician to be drawn to crowded places to show his face to people. Traditional campaigns arent cheap to organise, and not every contestant has the financial war chest of APC and PDP. Meanwhile nothing stops other candidates from visiting any crowded place of their choice. |
sonofthunder:Question that keeps ringing in my head, if you hate Obi so much, why are you so bothered about his campaign schedule? What do we call this one? Busy bodyism or just a confused hater? By the way, if Atiku or Tinubu likezls, they're free to go to any mosque of their choice; infact they're very free to also attend church gatherings - they will equally be accorded same front-row respect as Obi irrespective of theit religious inclination. |
Aemmyjah:Lol... wetin be this ? I guess I should put my trust in the other shady corrupt fellows instead. At least one of them even speaks in strange tongues (blbla bua bluea) and has anointed men who come on air each time to interpret the gibberish. |
sonofthunder:Oga, it is called 'campaigning'. You dont go about campaigning when there's no election. During campaigns, you tend to present yourself wherever there's a crowd. If it pains you that Obi has visited several crowded church gatherings, you can tell your candidate to do same. |
KingKO22:You think every contestant is a thief and fraudster like your candidate? |
Lol.. jokers... They're gradually kicking themselves out and falling into PDP for Atiku. Even Buhari himself may be voting Atiku in 2023. Theres some rumours of several APC NASS members about cross over to PDP too... The Northerners and tribal politics, FEAR NORTH! ![]() |
lhordspy:You claim he clamoured for it yet he rejected it? Isnt that counterintuitive? Hatred for the man Obi (due to politics or ethnicity) keeps making people reason upside down. The very fact that he rejected it amd never touched the devilish allowances proves to any sensible person that he was opposed to it. |
jagtinic:I dont care who Imran is or what happened to him and I'm not sure why you're obsessed with Imran. I just told you who Obi is and what he's capable of doing. Besides, are you suggesting I should vote in compromised individyals because I'm worried a devilishly greedy assembly will try to frustrate Obi? What sort of counterintuitive logic would that be? |
jagtinic:Obi broke the yoke of the devilish greedy assembly men in Anambra, he will break the evil yoke again on the centre stage once the people stand by him. |
90% of educated and enlightened Nigerians choose Obi; this explains why Obi consistently wins all online polls. Unfortunately, the uneducated and unenlightened populace have always made up the bulk of voters in past election, and these are the people who may tilt the election to Tinubu/Atiku. |
oikirodah:Obviously! What else can be expected from the gang of thieves? One can bet that 99% of that amount was donated by tainted fellows who have access to the national treasury. This exactly is the story Nigerians are fighting to change with the Obi-Datti ticket; the age-long narrative that leadership positions are the exclusive reserve of moneybag polithiefcians (and their anointed puppets) is exactly what Nigerians want to change with the Obi-Datti ticket. |
jagtinic:He did the same in Anambra. He had no member in the HOA and the members were all against him at the start, but guess what? He prevailed! As a leader, once your decisions and policies are popular with the people, the legislators will be forced to align with the popular policies. If you doubt this, once again, go and ask about what happened in Anambra. PO already has the knowledge, skills and relevant experience in dealing with stubborn legislators. |
GOTVee:This has to be the most stupid post I've read in recent times. |
Akunatakasi:And who told you Nairaland is a "News" website? If you're looking for news, why dont you go to news sites like Vanguard, Guardian, Channels etc?. And by the way, what's your definition of "irrelevant nonsense"? In a discussion forum of almost 3million members, do you realise that what you class as "relevant" is actually irrelevant to many? |
Chidi LLoyd again? This guy needs to grab a role in nollywood ASAP!.. ![]()

ThugOfWar:To be honest, it's a massive blessing (despite the fact that the typical black man will misuse it). Forget what anyone tells you in their analysis, oil money is still free billions just pumping from the ground. Yes the world is moving away from fossil fuels, but that transition isnt going to happen overnight. Fossil fuels will still remain relevant even in the next 20 years (and that's more than enough time to have made billions of dollars from any commercial oil well drilled today). Forget the beautiful stories all those 'clean energy' advocating countries tell you, forget their hypocritical sermons on climate change and clean energy. The only reason they talk of clean energy is cos they dont have oil/gas in their backyards. Go to those countries, they still use and even build new coal power plants, yet they tell you oil is useless? |
ThugOfWar:'Ignorance' in the area of energy economics is the only reason anyone would think commercial oil discovery isnt economically a blessing. Even in 10 years time, it would still be a blessing. |
The scoundrels dont even bother to hide their shamelessness any more. Just imagine the desperately to win the so called online polls which they earlier tagged as useless. First the tag Peter Obi as "Pastor" for obvious reasons to religiously distort the polls, yet Peter Obi still trashed them. In their shamelessness, they quickly deleted the polls and started afresh, taking a quick screenshot when Tinubu was still leading. And then with Peter Obi catching up again, they abruptly deleted the polls again and started a fresh poll with only Tinubu and Atiku; never knew the desperation had gotten to this dangerously shameless level ![]() Peter Obi had better watch his back this season. |
Idiko1:Sharap there! You dont give a rat ass about the SS but every 2 seconds you keep lamenting existence of the SS. Have you ever complained for once about the existence of the north-central? Like I said before, there's nothing wrong with the geopolitical arrangement, especially given Nigeria's multi-ethnic peculiarity. The idea behind the geopolitical structure was to group regional minority ethnic groups together to avoid undue / unfair political domination by the larger ethnic groups. The SE is monoethnic, the SW is monoethnic, the SS was created by grouping ethnic minorities from the old eastern and western regions, to ensure fairness and avoid undue political domination by the 2 larger ethnic groups. The north central was also created with this idea. For once, we've never heard the SW complaining about losing the midwestern region (now SS); we've not heard of the people of the north-central complaing of their independent structure; and we've also not heard of the people of the SS or north central complaining about this arrangement. Why is it always the SE complaining and insulting everyone about the existence of the SS? You havent bothered to say anything meaningful to support your argument on why you think the geopolitical arrangement is flawed (probably you dont have the requisite IQ to put forward a rational argument); but you only keep indirectly insulting the sensibilities of the SS people for not protesting this idea and you think these people are the 'dolts' and not you? Oga save that your empty "I dont give a rat ass" rhetoric for the "dolts" you talk about. |
Idiko1:Smh... there's nothing moronic about having geopolitical structures, especially for a multi-ethnic country like Nigeria. Besides, the people from the south-south zone have never for once complained or lamented or denounced the geopolitical arrangement. How the people from the SE continuously tend be the ones who want to dictate the fate of the SS people isnt just bizarre but suspicious. Stop insulting the intelligence of the SE with this your desperation to append by force to the SS abeg. |
Something interesting I've noticed over the course of the electioneering season. The educated, enlightened and exposed voters CLEARLY lean towards an OBI presidency. That explains why OBI has consistently won ALL online polls (the uneducated and unexposed wouldnt be found online). Victory for candidates like TINUBU or ATIKU can only depend on the votes of the uneducated, unenlightened and unexposed voters in rural areas. Unfortunately, this group make up a large chunk of the voter population across the country. This probably also explains why the oppressive and suppressive ruling class will always be opposed to educating and empowering the people; cos the moment the people are educated, they (aristocratic ruling class) will lose their powers. |
mrvitalis:If oil is found in the north, it's a good thing for the north and for Nigeria as a whole. Sometimes I believe strongly the opposition some of you have against any mention of oil in the north isnt necessarily driven by genuine patriotism; rather its purely out of inter-ethnic prejudice. Take a chill pill bro, oil in the north would be very beneficial to Nigeria as a whole. Your analysis of it being economically unviable holds absolutely no water. Oil is produced in Chad republic and it's economically viable there; so why would oil in Bauchi be unviable? And where did you conjure that bizarre figure of $15billion from? Even the trans-saharan gas pipeline from Rivers state to Morocco wouldn't cost that much. |
Victoronah1:Are some of you not even tired of this your failed attempt at 'attachee by force' or could we just call it, 'land grabbing'? Not for once have I seen a person from the SS complaining or denouncing the south-south designation; it's always south easterners trying to shove it down everyone's throat by fire by force that there's nothing like south-south on a compass. The whole episode just reeks of a desperation to 'attach by force'. Are the SS people kids or illiterates or non-humans that they cant be allowed to decide on their own destiny? For the record, it's called a GEO-POLITICAL zone, not a GEOGRAPHICAL zone; so this continuous referrence geographic locations just points to ignorance. Can we please stop this desperation to attach or append the SS to the SE by force? It actually brings ridicule to the SE and south easterners. |

Even though I'm a born again Christian, I knew he would soon die when he started living an adulterous life. He sang fake gospel songs to deviate the minds of true Christians from the ways of our lord Jesus while sleeping with several women behind the scenes. Very unfortunate to share Same religion with him. It's better we Christians adopt polygamy like our Muslim brothers than deceiving ourselves in front of our lord Jesus
