I believe this bridge u posted ends at the border between Nigeria and Cameroon, unlike the rail-line that extends about 40km into Niger.

Truth of the matter is that that extra 40km into Niger wouldnt have been an issue if the president wasnt chronically tribal. Yes Nigeria is building the railway, but it will be used mainly by Niger to access the seaport in Lagos. Niger will have to pay to use the rail and will have to pay to use the Nigerian seaport (currently I believe they use Cotonou port which is closer by road, but if there's a rail, they will tilt towards Lagos). Economically, there will be benefits to Nigeria for building that 40 km stretch, but I personally wouldn't have prioritised it considering the ethnic nature of Nigeria.

Part 1 of my trip to Spain. First stop is Malaga!

I booked this trip super last minute and didn’t know what to expect, however, many times these are the most memorable vacations and surely this was no different!

We stayed at the AC Marriott Malaga which was comfortable, clean and very central. Its a 4* by European standards and they have one of the best rooftop bars in the city. In fact here are the best rooftop bars in Malaga:

La Terraza del Chinitas
Roommate Valeria
AC Marriott Malaga Palacio
La Terraza de San Juan
La Piscina Lounge
Hotel Mariposa Lounge

“The Pharmacy” is a very nice speakeasy and should not be missed if you’re into craft cocktails or an upscale bar experience!

Malaga is very walkable so no need to rent a car. They have a very good transportation system, and Uber and taxis are everywhere and cheap.

To start our trip, we did a private food and wine tour through We Love Malaga which I highly recommend. I found them on Tripadvisor. Do it early (as soon as you arrive or day 2) so that you get a good “lay of the land”. They took us behind the scenes, to the Markets and to Tapas Bars that we would have never experienced and more likely missed had we ventured on our own. This definitely was a highlight of our stay.

The Mercado (market) is also a must, great food, tapas, wines, fresh fruit, veggies, drinks, etc., and very reasonable.

Alcazaba (Roman Ruins) is beautiful and if you go in the evening the cost is free.

You can see the entire city from the top of Gilbralforo Castle and if you’re not wanting to hike it (it’s about a steep 15-20 minute walk) just hop on Bus 35 and it will take you to the top.

Places we really enjoyed eating and were noteworthy at was: El Pimpi, Alcazabar, Lo Güeno, Los Gatos, Mesón Mariano, Refectorium Catedral, Cortijo de Pepe, Mercado de Atarazanas, Taberna García, Los Marangos, and Palacortado

We did a 45 minute Horse & Carriage Tour throughout the city which was amazing and inexpensive (30 euros). They are set up along the Port.

Malaga is on the sea and has amazing white sand beaches (all are public), Malagueña is the closest to the center of Malaga but they have several other beaches within 10-15 minutes of the city center which will take your breath away!

Few tips/notations: they eat late in Spain, I’m talking lunch at 2p, Tapas at 7p and dinner at 10p. Spanish wine is cheaper than water and their wine is actually very good! Easily can get a nice glass of wine or a beer for 2 or 3 euros. Pack wine sleeves so you can bring a bottle or six (lol) back home. You will find great wine under $10 euros easily!

We did not get to visit the Picasso museum but I’ve heard that it’s awesome, so I’ll to see for myself next time. I was todays years old when I found out Picasso was born in Malaga.

Weather was absolutely gorgeous this time of year high 60’s (F) clear skies and sunny!

Whew lots of details but I wanted to share it all because Malaga is a beautiful city/beach town…I just wish I had an extra day or two there.

FYI, applying for a Schengen visa from the US takes about 2 weeks to process (from application to issuance, applied and was approved and received the visa within 10 days with normal processing) and is relatively easy.

There's little to no excuse we can make for a technical fault. It's largely due to the manufacturer's negligence. An armoured vehicle should not easily get crashed on a smooth road, especially when no projectile was launched towards it.

Of course, you were obviously there at the spot when it happened and have concluded thorough investigations from behind your keyboard to know that it was a manufacturing fault that led to the crash?

You know the exact state of the road where it happened, you know the exact state of the driver and you're also 100% sure the accident had nothing to do with human error. Heck! You also know too well that "no projectile was launched towards the vehicle" and you're 100% sure there wasnt any obstruction on the road, e.g. other moving vehicles or pedestrians, that may have caused the driver to lose control.

Lest I forget, with your paranormal vision and insight, you're also sure the vehicle was serviced and maintained excellently by the army. You know all of the above too well from the back of your keyboard and that explains why you're 100% sure the accident was caused by manufacturer fault right?... Innoson MRAPs have proven to be made up of substandard quality, failing to meet up the expectations at the war front. The defective components of the vehicles have resulted in claiming several lives of our soldiers. It's been observed that the vehicles consistently develop catastrophic malfunction at the most critical moments at the war front.
A few years ago, some innoson MRAPs deployed at the war front against bokoharam were stuck in the terrain in the middle of the road. This made bokoharam swept in on them and killed many on the spot.
Yesterday, it was reported by the Army spokesperson that the vehicles convening the Army to Ihiala on a mission to smoke out ipob terrorists developed a "technical fault" , resulting in the death of five soldiers.
Since the FG contracted Innoson for the supplies of military vehicles, it has been one mishap too many. We are losing the lives of our gallant soldiers to these units of China-made substandard vehicles.
It is my hope that the FG would discontinue the use of these vehicles for a far better battle-proof, quality assured MRAPs that guarantee the safety of the lives of our gallant soldiers.

Unless it is fruit juice, Non Alcoholic wines these days are possible due to advanced wine press systems, that are capable of using reverse Osmosis or vacuum distillery to extract the alcohol.

In otherwords non Alcoholic wine was NOT possible to make until recently when the distillery technology/technique became available.

So I can boldly tell you there was nothing like Non Alcoholic wine in the time of Jesus. All wines were Alcoholic!

How does an attack against Obi equate to an attack against Igbos? Is Umahi not even a candidate in this election too? I've never for once seen any Yoruba person on this forum claim that an attack against Tinubu is an attack on Yorubas. Tinubu is an idividual politician and should carry his cross; likewise Obi and everyone else.
