Paul John: My man this is not about being tribalistic, but i've got to say this. WE all know different evil acts and the group of people that they are peculiar to in this country, so lets stop painting one group saint and the other as bad (as you did in your earlier post). That my post you quoted is to tell you no group is saint.

And I've got no time to be searching for link or post to show where Igbo kill for money, we all know it's rampart. So stop the cover up, No tribe is saint.

NB: I'm not defending that act.
Funny man, rampant and no link huh I just told you to drop the hatred and jealousy influenced stereotype.

@Obiagu1, wetin you won talk about the Igbo(from the bolded part)? undecided
Give an instance of Igbo, with link, killing siblings or parents for money. Igbos don't do that but Yorubas do.
Forget hatred and jealousy influenced stereotype.

torkaka: @norabenok
nigeria had three regions before right? ok lets break it down using the regions and removing tribe from the equation;
old northern region: now 19 states.
old eastern region: now 10 states.
old western region: now 7 states.

in the spirit of fairness (like most of you are preaching) it is the old west that really needs more states to catch up. afterall its not about tribe but regions right?
Stop displaying your stupidity every time. I told you this thread was closed but you won't listen.
old eastern region: now 10 states
old western region: now 7 states.

Poor you, you're really a pitiable fellow. You can't do simple counting; 1+1 to you is 4. Where did you get the numbers 10 and 7 from? It's obvious you don't know your geography and you opened a thread on state creation huh A beg find something better to do with your time!

ChinenyeN: Honestly though, aside from its institutionalized value as a legend, I tend to dismiss this oral tradition and the whole Imo Crossing Incident. I do not believe the tradition is meant to be taken literally, as many seen to have erroneously done.
See this kid, I told you you sound ridiculous everyday. Chinenye (the god) dismisses the oral tradition in favour of Chinenye's tradition.
Really delusional, isn't it?

Sorry bro, you could be the one with short memory. cool
The drama was when Yar'dua was sick not when he was declared dead.

egift: Either you have short memory or you are a liar. The 40 Laptops guys self...

1. Do you know that the Federal Executive Council meeting could not hold severally - because Jona cannot seat in place of Yar'Adua.
2. Turia (did I get the name), ran the show unofficially while Bros was at the kitchen - including handling funds. grin
3. Oga Jona lied to Nigerians that he spoke with Yar'Adua, when he never got even a whisper.
4. Or you did not know that light in Abuja Airport was switched off the night that Ambulla grin arrived Nigeria. Even army authorized without anyone bothering to inform Oga Jona - you think say na today?
4. You forgot how Nigerians marched the street when Oga was missing in action.

Plug this on for that your Laptop No 32 grin grin grin

touchmeder: I cant help but agree somewhat. In this country we don't like being honest sometimes. There was so much drama and secrecy about the death of Yaradua and even swearing in Jonathan was like a camel passing through the eye of a needle. People were beginning to quote rule of law and the rest. I dont know what the powers that be were trying to cook up.End of the day we got Jona, turned out to be a waste anyway!
It's a lie, GEJ was sworn in immediately after Yar'dua was declared dead.
Can you replace a President not declared dead?

PoliticsRe: FG And Senate Should Ban Nomadic Cattle Rearing by Obiagu1(m): 2:51pm On Jul 24, 2012
TroGunn: The current nomadic grazing by the Fulani herdsmen should be outlawed. The Senate should be passing a law to ban this practice for the following reasons:

1) The practice is dirty and unhealthy and leads to spreading of diseases due to the unsanitary dumping of animal and human faeces by the nomads and their animals.
2) Nomadic cattle rearing has no long term future. Ranching is the way to go. The earlier ranching is enforced the better.
3) Will eliminate the destruction of valuable crops
4) Will eliminate the conflicts between the crop farmers and the herdsmen.
5) Will reduce the violent crimes of armed robbery and r.ap.es known to be perpetrated by the herdsmen.
I'm in total support.
PoliticsRe: Senators Fight Over Grazing Land For Fulani Herdsmen by Obiagu1(m): 5:58am On Jul 23, 2012
I will also add that my proposal 1.does not include setting up grazing reserves for Fulanis by the federal government, 2.does not tolerate settlement by the Fulanis in any such grazing route other than their native lands, 3.does not relinquish ownership of such lands to Fulanis but will remain the property of the states and natives, 4.will limit the herdsmen to such routes which will end encroachment to farmlands, 5.will set up an institution to handle violations immediately which will stop farmers from taking the law into their hands.

. . . and there's equally no rationale for one to have more than the others. Chikena.
PoliticsRe: States Creation: Igbos Are Not Marginalised. by Obiagu1(m):
torkaka: why should igbos have five and others less?
Since you can't provide a reason, then leave the Igbos alone. If they want 30 States, so be it because it's none of your business since, according to you, there's no rationale for one to have 7,5 etc states while others have less.

Case Closed. Next Page!

PoliticsRe: States Creation: Igbos Are Not Marginalised. by Obiagu1(m): 5:22am On Jul 23, 2012
torkaka: The whole noise been made about another igbo state is hinged on deceit and lies!
igbos have the second highest number of states behind only the yorubas!
abacha was the one who created zones. remove the zones and you have 36 states out of which they're five for igbos next only to the seven for the yorubas.
. . . and why should Yorubas have 7 states and others less?
PoliticsRe: Senators Fight Over Grazing Land For Fulani Herdsmen by Obiagu1(m): 5:18am On Jul 23, 2012
Onlytruth: I remember the argument I had with one of my brothers here sometime last week about this idea of allocating grazing land for Fulani herdsmen.
What every concerned group Igbo, Yoruba, Middle belt and Ijaw are saying in their opposition to this are exactly the same things I said.
Only fools don't see the rationality in the points they are making.
I remember I argued something similar to this bill before with you, not exactly my proposal though. People are reactionary, as with everything Nigeria, so we'll keep going in circles. In 30 years time, we'll still be talking about Fulanis.

ChinenyeN: And you know that I'm "simply lying" because your ignorance concerning Ngwa tells you so. I see.

"We all". Of course you mean ignorant people like you who are unfamiliar with Ngwa traditions, but still think they have some phantom right to dispute anything Ngwa with Ngwa people (since the opinion of an Ngwa is irrelevant, when Ngwa is concerned).
You sound ridiculous sometimes, really. Ngwa/Ohuhu story is well written and well known so drop that "exclusivity" cliche of yours.
CultureRe: Are There Any Experts On Traditional Igbo Religion? by Obiagu1(m): 7:32am On Jul 20, 2012
ChinenyeN: I still don't get why your ignorant self thinks its in a position to dispute with me about my people.
Because you're simply lying. No origin, no destination shocked. Well I no fit talk, that kind one is beyond me, so carry go. cool

My point still remain that the opinion of an Ngwa especially you is irrelevant when it comes to origin because we all know where Ngwa people came from.
CultureRe: Are There Any Experts On Traditional Igbo Religion? by Obiagu1(m): 7:12am On Jul 20, 2012
ChinenyeN: You're incorrect. The Ngwa/Ohuhu legend is a story to emphasize common ancestry and explain the Ngwa/Ohuhu ethnonyms. It is not a story of migration, because the story never named a starting or ending point. It lacks an "origin-to-destination" sequence.
huh
CultureRe: Are There Any Experts On Traditional Igbo Religion? by Obiagu1(m): 6:52am On Jul 20, 2012
It's a story of migration. Migration from where? Name the place.
