PhysicsQED: Dude, your face is fvcked up. I understand why you're angry though. Every time you look in the mirror, you have to come to terms with what you see.Who got Physics angry? lol |
Arosa: This Nigerian government is wicked, so they want more NYSC peeps to die.Wicked and useless. Everything in Nigeria is poo! ![]() |
Fate was against Italy; losing chiellini so early and playing a man down when they were supposed to mount a come back. Hard luck Italy. Fvck Barcelona. |
Spanish era is not going to end soon. The players are still so young. ![]() |
I pay no heed to top news from Nigeria anymore, just don't give yourself hypertension. |
I am so hungry. About the tribalism in this thread, AljHarem did not start it. Bashir did. He misunderstood Ileke-Idi simply because of an oversight - she did not remember the Yoruba name for 'apon" and called it Ogbona soup. Obviously both Westerners and Easterners cook it, but call it different names. You folks better calm down. Good thread overall.
If you tell Ileke that Ogbono is an Igbo word will she agree? She believes every word used in Lagos and environ is of Yoruba origin the same way she was claiming egwusi. |
EbonyBlond: Who get egusi sef?Its complete name is Egwusi and it's of Igbo origin. Most groups don't have "gw" consonant is their alphabet. Igbos have "g" consonant, so if egwusi was not of Igbo origin, it should be called "egusi" in Igboland as well but it is not. Others call it egusi because they can't pronounce egwusi. |
alj harem: I mean logically, Egusi seed from water melon and Cowpea does not grow in the eastern part of Nigeria. So where did you get if from to be claiming akara, moi moi, egusi etcIgnorance is really a disease. |
If we desire peace, breakup is the way out. At least, Somaliland have known peace ever since they seceded from the jungle called Somalia. |
bayooooooo:Funkymallam, you have a case to answer |
EnuguMan: Can someone please translate this "Pidgin English" to standard English so I can understand it? I'd really appreciate it. thanks ...here it goes:Which kind pidgin English be dis So many meaningless words is killing pidgin English. |
Oh my Enugu, I miss you dearly ![]() |
This is not new from Anyaoku. He has been calling for this for so long but the system is unfavourable to Aso Rock and National Assembly so that won't accept it. |
Once it's not sited in the SE, make dem carry go with their fantasy. Dey no fit manage hydro power na nuclear power dey wan manage? |
PhysicsQED: I don't know about the other groups, but Edos have occupied high positions in the NNPC before already. I don't know if Ijaw have before. You're right but they were not appointed by an Edo President. My concern is that most SS people appointed by GEJ are Ijaws, why? Where are the others that make up SS? |
David Mark is a chameleon. |
This thread is about Kaduna and the current food scarcity there. |
So basically he got rid of a yoruba(southerner) and gave the position to a northerner. Then gave one of his ijaw brothers(since according to him there is no other group in the ND but his people) a position, Abiye Membere. Wow, big change, excuse the sarcasm. Tribalistic retard who is the north's new b!tch.
I'm wondering the same thing. Often times the big three do get positions but every SS position goes to the Ijaw. Where are the Urhobos, Itsekeris, Ogonis, Efiks, Ibibios, SS Igbos and Edos? |
Abagworo: Afam they do not sell land to other Igbos.Even the Imo State Egbema cannot buy. Very true but unfortunate. You cannot buy land, at any cost, in my town in Anambra because the lands are inherited lands. Igbos mostly sell free lands, agu and okeohia, to non natives. So people like abdul izom should stop manipulating the truth to score a cheap point. |
Good one Shell, at least SE is finally remembered. It remains the federal government ... |
Yar'Adua and GEJ are Obasanjo's vision 2020 for Nigeria. |
Do they want me to start writing like the Chinese? ![]() |
kaiter: This means that GEJ would have been briefed that Gen. Buhari is clean and does not need to be invited for any bumb interrogation. I will like to agree with that but to use the stability of his presidency as an excuse is silly. |
ijigbamigb: But reacting to the sacking, Media spokesman to Azazi, Mike Awe, said: "The government appointed him and has asked him to go. The President is under political pressure and not everything is classified and made public. When NSA asked that Buhari be invited for questioning, Jonathan kicked against it. When he suggested that some people be brought in and questioned, he kicked against it saying it is a ploy to scatter his government. So, really, it’s all about the president’s softness (weakness) but he appointed him and he has removed him."The statement above means that the President is more interested in keeping his presidency than the lives that are being wasted every now and then. He is already planning for 2015, sorry Nigerians |
jmaine: How do you expect worms to show up when you have laced salt in their path . . .LMAO! |
Where are GEJ's principle critics on Boko Haram? Your suggestion is needed here or forever zip your loud mouth! |
Onlytruth: No, it is not a puzzle. It is the GIST of it all. They want us to develop their corner of Nigeria and leave the East. That's a very good argument to use. My friend has changed his mind too about building in Lagos but hasn't made up his mind where to build a house in the East, he grew up in Lagos and doesn't know the East much. He's still spending money on the one in his village so will have enough time to make up his mind. |
Why can't you go back to the east? Must you look back to "biblical" era or second century? Go and develop your land, simple.. What makes you think the ibibio won't turn their guns at you? Anywayz. Gawa gawa!! Go sell!!!
Why a Yoruba man should be interested in the affairs of the East is still a puzzle. |
It's good they have included the price range but walahi, person go need mortgage for this one. Love the Rose Garden ![]() |
odumchi: A topic like this deserves a thread of its own so that it can be discussed thoroughly. It still surprises me how Igala is classified as Yoruboid. The two languages, Igala and Yoruba, may sound similar tonally but morphologically and syntactically are different. The only Yoruboid group in Nigeria is Itsekiri. Ekpeye is not a good example when it comes to Igala. Ekpeye language is very much Igbo but more divergent than any other Igbo subgroup dialect. The equivalent should be Idoma and it will be ridiculous to classify Idoma as Igboid. |
visionsen: When former President Olusegun Obasanjo lambasted the National Assembly a few weeks ago many people called him names some legislators had wanted to protest. The Corruption cases involving the so called Hon. members in Abuja recently has vindicated the elder statesman.Who started the culture of sending Ghana-Must-Go bags to the national assembly? Was it not OBJ? Only gullible and disingenuous people are deceived by this devil of a man called OBJ ![]() |
