People should learn how to be happy for others once in a while, it doesn't cost anything to say 'congrats' and u move on.
once there is a case like this y'all are quick to tell us abt how difficult it is in ur school to make first class and all that talk.

Anyways congrats mr or miss Korede..#Godwin

it is good to pay for at least one year, just to emphasize that you are financially capable, but so many people did not pay a dime to the schools and still got TRV.
what if your program is for one year, will you be allowed to pay for one semester and pay for the second semester when you get there at a later date. Applying to Conestoga college.

Daniyemi:
A responsible man shouldn't cause his woman to be materialistic.

A Responsible man should know when his woman is in want and provide accordingly to the size of his pocket.

I am a guy but it is appalling how a guy would just totally ignore the needs of his woman in the guise that She shouldn't be materialistic.
I totally agree with you
CareerRe: Should I Contest For MBGN 2015 Or Not by obiaguna(m): 10:42pm On Apr 21, 2015
Well you should go with a positive mindset and pls don't place too much emphasis on the cash you are going to spend cos ur subconsciously placing a mental limitation on your dreams if you keep thinking abt it.
Go with a clear and positive mind and also pray that everything goes well. At least if mbgn doesn't click, it may expose you to top recruiters for miss tourism, universe or even tv commercials and other stuffs like that.
cheers!

Msc Accounting is generally a better choice for jobs, but you can consider a dual degree with MBA.

Personally, I'd say if you wanna go for your MBA and you don't have an advanced degree yet in your field(assuming it's not Business administration or Management related), get a top ranking university. If your undergrad major is Management-related and you're looking to get a job after, with your degree, you might be better off going for a Dual degree program; maybe with Accounting. If however, your major is say something Engineering, and you're hoping to get a job after graduation, better to go for an MS. The city is great, school not so great.
I am facing this same challenge you just spoke about. Have my first degree in Banking and Finance and the school im applying to offers only MBA and Msc Accounting.
Normally I would be more inclined to get an Msc in Finance but since its not readily available I may have to go with the Msc Accts.

Considering the option that one may need to get a PhD later, which would have a better ROI taking into accounts the prospects of securing a good job in the US, Msc Accounting or an MBA. School is East Tennesse State University.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Salary Delay! Which Way Out!!" by obiaguna(m): 10:14pm On Apr 08, 2015
Godmother:
Seriously!!! huh
At OP,
If your salary is delayed, you will start to panick if you are the type that lives from paycheck to paycheck. No matter how things are, you should cultivate the habit of spending below what you earn. I had to learn this the hard way when I faced a situation like this a few years back. Salary was delayed and I almost died. That incidence taught me to develope a serious saving habit.
So whenever a salary got delayed again I would fall back on this savings a little and replace it when the salary got paid.

Excellent advise. If you have been saving, this salary delay of a thing won't bother you much. But once the delay starts re-occurring every month then there is a problem.
Maybe u could borrow from friends and pay back when you are paid.
CareerRe: Share How Your Ex-boses Responded To Your Resignation by obiaguna(m): 8:50am On Apr 01, 2015
tanimola22:
A friend of mine recently resigned from a major investment manager in Paris and accepted an offer from a US hedge fund company. His exit was a noticeable loss to his department. He was good. His boss wanted him to stay back, but his mind was already elsewhere...And this was after they had gotten him the much coveted permit to work in France.

If you're a valuable employee and a firm got you cheaply, they would begin to beg you to stay when you resign because they know that they may spend several times more replacing you. But the question is, before tendering resignation, were their eyes closed to the fact that you're a valuable employee?

I do not encourage people to accept counter offers. I personally do not accept it. If a firm could but didn't compensate a talented employee according to market rate, the firm doesn't deserve the employee. Your friend did the right thing IMHO.
Sorry to derail @ op
Hello Mr T, I sent you a new mail, pls can you check. Thank you.

I am also planning to leave my present office for a better one and I hope that mine would be very smooth without burning bridges.

Happy new month Everybody.

Surprised you cannot find universities with masters in finance.

Found below within 3 minutes:
https://business.illinois.edu/msf/
http://www.bc.edu/schools/csom/graduate/msf.html

This link has a list of universities who offer Msc finance:
http://www.bus.lsu.edu/academics/finance/faculty/dchance/MiscProf/MSPrograms.htm

Regarding tuition of 10k-15k, you need to check each of their websites or reach out to confirm the costs but most will be more than that for international students. btw is th 10k-15k per term or year budget?
Thanks for helping out. I would take my time to go through the schools you listed out. As for the budget, I was thinking per year. Isn't it per year for every masters course?

You have not searched at all. Gradschool.com and narrow your search to what you want. If you want the fees email the school they would send you the fees pronto. MBA is not cheap anyway. write gmat or Gre and apply for grant. If you cannot find finance and financial management and I wonder where you checked cos almost all the schools has MBA and major in those fields
Thanks slimmy. I would look up that site and search again. An MBA is totally different from a masters program and that wasn't what I was looking for. A lot of American uni's offered more MBA's than Msc programs but I would use that site you sent to check properly. Thanks man.

Friends please I need your help and contribution. I have actively been searching for schools in Yankee to undergo my msc program but the search has been frustrating.
Most of the schools I checked I got little or nothing pertaining to fees and graduate programs. I could hardly see a school that offered a masters degree in finance or financial management as I intend pursuing a PhD after (not certainly but just maybe) and a lot of those schools were only offering MBA's.
I am not interested in an MBA at this stage as I hardly have enough office experience.
Please for the guys that are there already, can you list some schools that have very affordable tuition (say 10-15k dolls) and schools that have actual Msc business courses.
Please I am really tired cos most of the schools websites are not very straight forward like the UK schools. Thanks y'all.
