Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Two Job Offers Can't Decide To Pick One Pls Help!!!! by obiaguna(m): 1:31am On Dec 28, 2015 |
Please take the teaching job because it's closer to where you stay and then you can get connected to parents of the pupils/students you teach. You can also have room to write other job tests and attend interviews. Finally it would keep your mind busy and sharp for greater things to come. You wouldn't want to be a secretary in this modern time and age. Compliments of the season. |

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: NBC Offer And Access Bank Offer, Which One Should I Go For Please? by obiaguna(m): 10:21pm On Dec 15, 2015 |
Man this is a no brainer. My friends dumped access bank TS for Kpmg and EY positions so they could develop mentally and gather skills that are actually "transferable" in any organization they find themselves. The key word here should be what skills and knowledge can I acquire on the job and not how much would I be paid. Man if it's not a CITI bank or any other investment bank pls don't consider it. Pick NBC ASAP. Don't dull at all. |
Family › Re: About Mid-life Transition by obiaguna(m): 12:14am On Dec 15, 2015 |
dsquare33: Thanks OP for the insight, into what midlife crises is, I have a relation of mine who though is retired from the coperate world, she is in her mid 50s and very she rich but she decided to go back to school. The question is, is there anything wrong in wanting to do something you have wanted to do? Naturally, like you said it could be as a result of somebody wanting to fufill his long term goals. I don't really think she's suffering from midlife crisis. I can deduce from what you wrote that she has enjoyed a good career and she now has some time to try out new things and that includes her taking up a new course at school. Others could be starting a business or some other sort of passion/hobby. Mid life crisis are mostly negative trends. I'm not really sure Sha but it's a forum and we can wait for more contributions. |

Business › Re: Ecobank Wants Court To Declare Oba Otudeko Bankrupt Over Indebtedness by obiaguna(m): 11:20pm On Dec 08, 2015 |
SLIDEwaxie: going bankruptcy is a business on its own. many people don't knw ds...
I bet the guy shld be investigated...he wanted to keep the assets and allow the public (shareholders) to share the loss.
that's the deal behind it.
just imagine i collected a loan of 500k and using a car's papers as a collateral...I invested the 500k in another car and continued using the other one too- I have two cars. eventually, I wld av made more money with both cars by the time the banks come knocking. I will declare bankruptcy but I will keep my cash and the second car!
Oba Otudeko invested the loan in his business making profits but refusing to pay the loan....he had weighed his options well ...
ask Abramnovich of Chelsea how he made his billions! I agree with you to a extent. |

maxxy: I did that about 6months ago and while it has been mightily rewarding, it has not been without challenges that require the best of you. My advise would be to guarantee the financing for the business, guarantee your 6months expenditure (without relying on the income from the business), pray hard... then throw everything you have got at the business. Thanks bro. Would key into your advice. I wish you the best in whatever you do. |

deolumike: Yes. It is a requirement that you submit along with other relevant documents some means of identification e.g National ID card, passport, driver's license. It is to verify the identity of members of the company. Okay. Thank you. |

I have been doing a whole lot of thinking lately and most of it centers on whether I continue working and putting someone else as a manager while I'm away or resigning completely to manage it.. I have big dreams and I know it's not easy but I am already tilting towards resigning and managing the business myself. It won't be easy Sha but it's possible. What are your thoughts? |

Career › Re: Airtel Sacks Workers, Pays Off Affected Staff by obiaguna(m): 12:29am On Nov 18, 2015 |
Frankiss44: My brother you just ended up saying nothing .. If the place is over staffed as you claim then it should be direct staffs that earn millions for doing nothing.. The highest paid back up staff there earned 116k and they are being owed salary for about 7 months now and the funny thing is that they are the ones doing the jobs.
I really need to know your definition of over staffed because the plant is being operated on a 24 hour basis meaning these workers run on shift.
It's only in this country we won't have problem with senators receiving millions for sleeping but when it comes to the common man, we will start asking jamb questions. Give the Senate to Tony elumelu and see if many heads will not roll Very good point that. Well said. |
