Providing maximus security to the people & farmers unlike the last regime who told us that Enugu state is in the hands of god while suspected herdsmen attacked villagers @ the bordering communities yet none was prosecuted or arrested, people struggled to get water in the capital.
I believe the man will deliver, he has also give matching order to local government chairmen. to carry out developmental projects in their respective local councils and he is serious about improving the IGR as well.

If it had gone the way of Edeoga, it would have been fine for me because that is justice done as he actually won the election
Now that it goes the way of Mba I am still happy because even though I know he didn't win the election, he is by miles better than Edeoga. Mba is a radical. |

How? Did they force anybody to be them or did they credit their account by themselves or you want them to leave their busy schedule to be calling incompetent and corrupt civil servants in Nigeria begging them to stop paying them ? |

anungangampu: You are the delusional one. Its a normal thing for igbos to learn other peoples language and still retain their language. It's Even worse up north, yet, igbo children born up north speak better igbo than those born in other places in Nigeria. Yoruba dominate Nigerian secular music, igbos dominate gospel music. Igbos has been scattering since 1930, yet, the one outisde igbo land defend their heritage than those at home. You are right, while you must speak the native language in the north, lgbos in the north retain and speak their language more than Igbos in other parts of the country, even more than those in the east !! When I went to a town in taraba state in the mid 90s l saw Yoruba children who were born and in the town speaking lgbo fluently. They learnt the language from lgbo children whom they play with and those lgbo children were also born in the town o not in lgbo land. |

[quote author=orohbirodeysmel post=127561384]Leave mumu people to keep mumuring up and down...You hardly see an Igbo musician, use Yoruba in his music, especially Igbo hip pop artists. But Yoruba musicians will always use one or two Igbo phrases in their music. They many, Simi, Teni, Yemi Alade, Davido, Adekunle Gold etc. The undisputed truth is, apart from Hausa in the north. The most widely spoken language in Nigeria is Igbo. I have my reasons. 1) There are more Igbos in South South and other regions of the country than there are other tribes in other regions. 2) Owing to business, education, religion and tourism. An average Nigerian have come in contact with more Igbos than other tribes outside his own. 3)Igbos high standards of living, domineering nature, makes other people try to know one or two Igbos words. Some claim they learn Igbo words so as to know when Igbos wants to outsmart them in business transaction. 4) Today there are many Igbo skit makers and comedians in the content creating Industry than other tribes. Both on Facebook and TikTok. They use Igbo more often to bypass Facebook ban and Facebook community standards... because they have discovered that there's money on social media. 5)The Christian religion in Nigeria are dominated by Igbos, and an average Christian church all over Nigeria use Igbo worship/Gospel songs every Sunday So tell me how the language will die Reno Omokri himself understand many Igbo words than Hausa and Yoruba words. [/quot e] Your post reminds me of the reverend father in Lagos who stired controversy by banning lgbo song in his parish citing that the song is dominating others. I can also remember when I went to a town in taraba state, I saw Yoruba children who have never been to Igbo land in their life speaking lgbo fluently courtesy of lgbo children whom they play with. |

buzmanjohn: Ahead of the festive period, MTN Nigeria is partnering the Federal Road Safety Corps to temporarily open the Amawbia, Anambra State sections of the partially completed Enugu-Onitsha Dual Carriage Way.
PUNCH Online reports that MTN is the financier of the dual carriageway that connects Anambra and other South-East states.
The Coordinator, MTN Community Liaison Initiative, Dr Reginald Facah, during a press conference in Amawbia, near Awka, Anambra State, said the road was opened to ease traffic flow for South-East commuters travelling during the Yuletide.
Facah noted that there has been a high influx of traffic along the Onitsha carriageway resulting in gridlock because of the Yuletide season, adding that the essence of opening the road is to decongest the traffic to make travelling seamless for road users.
He said, “Today, we are gathered to temporarily open the partially completed sections of the Enugu-Onitsha Dual Carriage Way, not because the entire project is ready, but because December and Christmas have seen unimaginable suffering on the parts of commuters and drivers on this same road.
“However, with today’s opening of the Amawbia section and the opening of Amawbia flyover, an untrammeled driving experience is once again here for human and vehicular traffic which are usually heat during this period.”
On his part, the Senior Manager Sales, MTN, Emmanuel Okereke, said the organisation is excited to partner with the Federal Government on a road infrastructure tax credit scheme to complete the rehabilitation of the Enugu-Onitsha Expressway.
Okereke said, “This road does not only connect Enugu and Anambra states; it is a gateway to the rest of the country and Africa. Our commitment is to deliver an expressway that will be the pride of the South-East people and Nigerians in general.”
In his remarks, Sector Commander FRSC, Anambra State, Adeoye Irelewuyi, said, “At festive periods like this, this section of the road always experienced very serious traffic jam at the slightest obstruction to traffic flow usually causes a pile-up in both directions.
“It is therefore with great joy and relief that the Anambra State Command of the FRSC is marking this occasion of the temporary opening of this section.
“We surely believe that it will ease the traffic jam usually experienced at the Amawbia flyover and underpass, as well as reduce road traffic crashes on the stretch.
The Sector Commander appealed to the people of the state and indeed all road users travelling during and after this Yuletide period to always exercise patience.
Earlier, the Anambra State Commissioner for Transport, Patricia Igwebuike, lauded MTN for their timely intervention and encouraged road users to use the road with caution, especially the Yuletide.
https://punchng.com/yuletide-frsc-opens-enugu-onitsha-highway-to-ease-traffic/?amp Enugu Onitsha express way did not connect Anambra and other south east states rather it connects Anambra with enugu and ebonyi while Onitsha Owerri road connects Anambra with lmo and Abia. |

Sometimes I am tempted to doubt these reports, how can kogi an agrarian and poor state record the highest food inflation in the country, we should have asked what factor is driving the price higher in kogi, is it because most food is imported ? And no Is it because kogi is difficult to access ? Ans. on the contrary kogi is the easiest state to access in Nigeria as it shares boundaries with 10 states and the FCT Ok, is it that kogites have high purchasing power ? The answer is no , they don't
So what could be responsible for high cost of food in an agrarian kogi state ? |
