Hi fellow nairalanders.I had a terrible experience with the so called telecommunication service provider 'etisalat'.
I loaded a recharge card of #200 at 11:03am,then i checked my balance and i saw that a sum of #50 has been deducted from my account then followed by an SMS saying that i have been charged for the monthly ringback tune which i had unsubscribed as at August last year.
I called their customer care line and spoke with one of their customer care representative and i told her what happened.She told me that i subscribed for the service at 9:00am whereas i have removed my etisalat SIM from my phone since last Thursday.I just put it back inside my phone at around 10:45am.I told her all that but yet they did not refund my credit.
It is not that i can not let go of #50 but i wonder how many Nigerians would have experienced this kind of unfair treatment from this service provider and their counterparts.They are all SCAMMERS.Infact they should be probe by the EFCC for milking Nigerians.The FG too should also take firm actions on service providers and not word of a mouth.
