it is amazing how people think like this, what is the difference between welfare and people doing nothing, which do you think would be more liability to the Government. the major problem of Nigeria is corruption and if the economy was good there would be more companies for people to work in . “If you come to campus and you have the sexual interests we represent, you may not even suspect that such a group exists,” Michael told the Crimson, adding that recognition “shows we are being taken seriously.”
Harvard spokesman Jeff Neal said the school recognizes more than 400 independent student organizations, and the groups are required to submit an organizational constitution and agree to the school’s nondiscrimination and anti-hazing policies. Then, their fate is decided by a committee composed of students and administrators.
“The college does not endorse the views or activities of any independent student organization,” Neal told FoxNews.com. “Rather, it ensures that independent student organizations remain in compliance with all applicable provisions of the Handbook for Students.”
A woman who went by the name Mae told the Crimson the group has provided her with a comfortable environment to discuss her sexual interests.
“I didn’t think that anyone was even remotely interested (in kink) on campus,” Mae said. “It’s a community where you can feel safe, and you can feel comfortable talking about (kink).”

youngmonie: Something they should have done a long time ago..... common every body knows that the civil service has a lot of inefficiencies, and those clamouring that there will be high unemployment again, RUbbish. When you spend money on capital project, a bulk of it goes down to the private sector who in turn employ people. Common 70% of the yearly budget on expenditure for wages, which sane government does that . Look around the world most governments are even reducing public servants and cutting their budgets, whilst spending on capital projects that will provide jobs.

But then again this is Nigeria!!!!! (Principles of Economics Dont always work)

it never worked in the banks because their are so many factors involved, the reason there are so many people in the civil service is because there are no jobs , it wouldn't have been as bad as this if a lot of money was not lost to corrupt practices.

Now I clearly understand two(2) things about SLS.
1. He has a passion for creating uproar to draw attention to himself.
2. His strategic thinking is always geared towards policies/decisions that will put serious strain on the masses.

Examples:
1. Banking reform: To start with, the reform was needed bt the level of immaturity with which it was carried made ground for so much collateral damage. The level of job loss witnessed during this reform was unprecedented. Poeple were wrong to think only bankers were affected. A lot of manufacturing and service companies who had their operations stiffened also laid off staff as they could not assess loan for a long time for business operations. The job loss trend is still with us till today. Yet, mallam wants to up the stake.

2. Cashless lagos: if u are a lagos based businessman, u will understand what a pain in the ars_e this policy is. It can be so frustrating. People loose money and deals because of this prematurely introduced policy.

3. 5,000 naira notes and coinage of 20, 10, 5 naira: everyone in this country, except sls, is aware of how senseless and incompatible that was with our society. This was adequately reflected in the level of public outcry and eventual suspension of the policy by FG.

4. Support for subsidy Removal: this same policy was meant to achieve the similar purpose as this new proposal of sack in the civil service. Now, can anyone mention any significant impact that the subsidy reinvestment committee has had on nigerian economy and nigerians. The subsidy was saved to be stolen by Abuja Stealers. The same thing will happen with the savings if 50% of civil servants are sacked.

5. Mass sack of civil servant. Hmmmmm. Yes, savings wll be achieved bt the resulting surge in unemployment rate will be catastrophic. I am very sure that will kick-start the revolution some of us want.
