Love800: Mrbrownjay1 nd Ochimex have great writeup concerning this U.s.a fling. I dont really know who to believe btw both of you. But if i were to choose, i will go with ochimex because mrbrownjay1 always writes as a robot programmed
Dude forget those ingrates blacks/Africans. Trust me, there is no similarities with what is obtainable in any poor country to US. America is a land of opportunities, where poverty is a choice. Quote me anywhere. what they call worse in America - society-wise, is still the best in Africa. Quote me anywhere. It is not perfect, but better than the best in Nigeria.
Even human behaviors, customer care, name it, govt doesn’t abandon their people. Dang. Those guys who was saying trash about US are just ingrates and fools
MrBrownJay1: the above DOES matter because you cant objectively see the obvious subject at hand. you certainly believe that because "you" easily got a job, as you landed in America (regardless of what that job may be), you now think everyone in America should/would do what you are doing (regardless of who they are or what their profession is)....thus it makes me understand that A) you are talking about low paying jobs from B) people who are obviously clueless about the US and its poverty.
you further make me believe that you are just a fresh off the boat immigrant when you believe that because people have running water and 24hs electricity in the US we should A) ignore the obvious poverty in America or B) we should therefore ignore what is bad about the US and pretend that EVERYTHING IS GREAT IN THE US... just take a walk off the beaten track in any big citiy in the US and you will always be reminded about how much differences/poverty there is.
and again, dont get me wrong....US/EUROPE are great places to live in, but to claim that there are NO POVERTY here is a damn lie from the pit of hell! but hey, i dont blame you for looking at the US/Europe like paradise on earth, because of where you come from...so "to you", with your African immigrant mindset, US/Europe is paradise with no poverty... but to someone who was born and bred there and who knows exactly what they are talking about, they will be quick to show you poverty in these places (even though such poverty may look like paradise to your African immigrant mind)
That’s your fu!!cking business. Say whatever you want, who cares.
MrBrownJay1: bro, what you do exactly in the US is irrelevant to the subject at hand... but its obvious that you just landed as any person who've lived long enough in the US would know that poverty anywhere in the west is not based on having running water and 24hs electricity. its only "fresh off the boat immigrant" who still believe they are back in Africa, who think like that.
anyway, its pointless trying to educate you on the subject, as it is obvious you need to make your newlyfound country look/sound like paradise on earth, while we all know that many gainfully employed people in America would tell you otherwise.
have a fantastic day, and dont let me rain on your parade!
What I do is irrelevant, but you kept referring to me as someone who makes $10 an hour. So why refer to me that way when it doesn’t matter? Same way you refer to me as fresh up immigrant, does it matter when I come here? Dude, time again doesn’t matter because there are people who will never see anything good with any country or anybody, someone like you who uses microscope to see the little inconsequential bad things, forgetting the obvious palpable goodies. What matters is that God has blessed me immensely in this blessed country that I will forever be grateful to God and the US. I don’t talk bad about the fingers that feed me. Peace ✌️
MrBrownJay1: again, who cares what YOU think is poverty in America?! again, why do you think that poverty in america should look like poverty in Africa?! stop comparing the west with Africa. stop using your "fresh off the boat" mind to judge something that you are clearly clueless about. there are 40m poor people in America who cannot get basic life necessities for themselves... and whether you like it or not, THIS IS A FACT!!!!
now, just because you can get 10 low paying dishwasher jobs tomorrow does not make any difference to the above issue....
Okay. Check my photo that’s what I do for job here, dude. Mind you, I make over $190k yearly as a 💯 percent fully commissioned tech. I am not on hourly job dude
Yeah. 40 million homeless drug addicts and illegal immigrants living in the States
IbeOkehie: It's the duty of a citizen to speak up when they see something wrong in their country. The reluctance to speak up for selfish or parochial reasons is a major factor in the destruction of Nigeria. Example - the majority of Nigerians voted for leaders of a political party that told them in 2012 to 2015 that "fuel subsidies don't exist". When a people fail to point out such blatant lies, their country is on the way to perdition. Sorry to tell you, the USA is on that path right now.
As for the CIA and what not - take it easy. Again, it's sad how Nigerians immediately resort to rudeness, put downs and THREATS when they're confronted with the TRUTH. Already on this thread I've read people threatening to ARREST someone in Nigeria because of a difference of opinion. The other day someone told the truth about how Nigerians abuse the UK student visa and Nigerians flooded Nairaland and Twitter threatening to murder them because he "snitched".
You wrote:
Well, that's treasonous expression right there. You're an unpatriotic heretic and I hope the FBI will get you for it. We don't know your real name so I guess I'm at higher risk - but we know USA police are super efficient, you will also be caught sooner or later. See you in prison.
Have a good day.
“Duty of a citizen to speak up?” Speak up about America in a Nigeria forum. 😂 comedian.
“Nigeria resort to Rudeness and Threats” Then went ahead doing same. “The FBI will get you for it” “you will be be caught sooner or later” “see you in prison” Comedian. 😂 So what makes you different?
“US police are super efficient” thank God you now said one good thing about the US
IbeOkehie: You were the FIRST to ask where I live..with the assumption that I don't know anything about the USA because I don't live there. There's NOTHING to brag about in ANY job or profession. Again, I tell you....being EDUCATED and enlightened is more than a university degree. I've ALSO repeatedly stated that I started my life working illegally as a cook in the USA at age 16. It's not bragging, it's just life.
Anytime I mention simple things, Nigerians get angry and claim I'm bragging. Tell Nigerians SIMPLE TRUTH, they start cursing and abusing you. Why?
I simply told you that many people with MENTAL or PHYSICAL disabilities might be poor and in fact many are DESTITUTE. Their poverty is NOT voluntary as you claim. I ALSO explained that poverty in the USA is actually a higher standard of living that even middle class in Nigeria. That's an easy to understand and factual state of affairs. I know because I work with such patients.
Anyway, like I said...have a good day.
And you see your life. 16 years illegal migrant now see how far you have come, proving the fact that poverty is a choice in America. Any destitute is also a choice. Govt provides shelter and feeding for homeless and there are donations from every corner of the US to help them to give them a better life, but most of them being drug addicts don’t want to be there. They prefer to be on the street constituting nuisance. Again, mental, physical, disabled people have programs they can get into and better their lives in America. And will be well off than mentally okay average hard working people in Nigeria. Stop making it sound like these people are abandoned and have no choice. They have multiple choices to live a better fulfilling life even with their disabilities. America is not perfect, we know: but I have nothing bad to say about this great country, and will forever be indebted to them and tell the world how good of a country and human they are I pray the CIA tracks you ingrates who benefits so much from the US and still have nothing good to say about the fingers that feed you
IbeOkehie: Pharmacists don't see patients? Dear Sir, why not go and look up things BEFORE talking about what you don't know? If you do live in the USA, why not stop at a drug store and ask the pharmacist there? For example, when patients go to pick up their med, they actually might have to consult with the pharmacist, get instructions. Pharmacists work in hospitals and do rounds with the medical team every morning. Pharmacists have primary responsibility for administering VACCINATIONS in the USA.
As to our argument, there's a significant number of patients with serious mental illnesses or physical disabilities who reside in sanitoriums or mental hospitals, many are wards of the state, they own NOTHING. They are poor by your own definition because they don't work, not so? So what are you on about?
Seriously, try and look up things before you write. Please try and get enlightened. Think a little. You're very, very dumb. Education isn't all about degrees and university, there's more to it than sitting in a classroom.
Have a good day all the same.
Again, I try as much as possible to refrain from using abusive words on people; but you want to sound as a typical bragging black monkey, patent medicine dealer from Nigeria, who thinks anybody cares about their dumb certificate from a glorified secondary school called university in Nigeria. Dude nobody cares about your sh!!t pharmacist here, cause your job is no different from an Amazon delivery driver, so don’t bring that caveman bragging mentality of “I am a pharmacist. In America I know, patients don’t get sick and go to a pharmacist for diagnosis. They only see a pharmacist to get instructions on how to use their prescribed medicines from a doctor. So, no patient will consult you for diagnosis and give you details of their problems. Again, as you mentioned, no doubt there are people with mental illnesses and disabilities, but they aren’t abandoned like their wards in Nigeria to roam the street hungry begging for food. They either have parents or family who takes care of their basic needs or the govt does, thereby preventing them from lacking the basic necessities of life - this means they aren’t in poverty. Again, I don’t know which ghetto migrant concentration camp you dey live wey be say, no only things bad u dey see. My state Colorado, there is no poverty and disabilities are way so low that you rarely see these kind wahala wey you dey talk. Less privileged People aren’t abandoned in America by the govt to lack basic necessities. Again, when you don’t lack life basic necessities you are not in poverty Being in poverty - lacking basic necessities of life is a choice in America. Opportunities plenty for any serious individuals who wants to earn a decent living, it’s not same in poor countries like Nigeria
IbeOkehie: What part of the USA? I live in Raleigh, NC and this is my real name. I'm a pharmacist, I see patients every day and I think I know a bit more about the debilitating effects of physical and mental illness than you ever will. Since you're posing the challenge, where do YOU live and what's your REAL name? What are you ashamed of that you can't post your REAL name? Because honestly you're sounding like a village idiot trapped in the Nigerian Zoo. Y
Did you really write this? So there's several kids I know born to mothers who abused whatever kinds of drugs. Some born BLIND and without limbs. What kind of job are they going to do to avoid poverty? Yes, there's a good number of disabled people who are employed, but they're a small part of a significant population.
You don't know what you're talking about. And instead of engaging in a conversation and learning, the first thing you resort to is abuse. You've made a categorical statement that poverty is completely voluntary, I've claimed otherwise. There's load of medical journals and studies online, go read them and get a deeper look at the subject. You don't need to attend medical school to get a some sense of it.
What a loon, I doubt you live in the USA, your kind of rude is not the norm here.
Cheers.
You just changed to your real name and you are calling me names. Wow. And you say you are educated? I doubt. Because you are not refined. Crude. You are a black monkey, wey be say shower a pig they will still be pig. Even bring you into US, you are dumb, pharmacist don’t see patients in the US, prescriptions are made by doctors and they go get it from pharmacists
IbeOkehie: This your refrain is offensive. Some people are poor due to physical and mental limitations. It's not about being sensitive, it's a fact of life.
Thanks.
Physical disability doesn’t prevent one from getting any job in the US you know it, in fact, then when the govt is ready to help such person on everything so much. Mental limitations too don’t, people with all kinds of mental illnesses are employed. Even imbeciles are working in King Super and Safe Ways too. I wonder the part of America you are, honestly. You won’t go hungry, naked homeless. In the US. There is no Nigeria kind of poverty in America. Period
GreatKingg: No, you are wrong. Over 10% of the US population lives below the poverty level. Guy, the poverty level for an individual for yankee nah $13,590. So, your story of nobody lives below the poverty level is completely false. Also, not all cities in the US have access to clean/good drinking water. How many people in the US do you think drink water directly from their tap? Most people depend on bottled water. There are quite a lot of hard-working people that are still poor. Let me ask you this question. What is your definition of hard-working man/woman? People that work 40 hours a week, do you consider them lazy or hard working? Or is it working 2 full time jobs that you consider hard-working? I asked you in my previous post, if you earn $7-$12/hour and work 40 hours weekly, how do you afford the basic necessities? How much is rent where you live? How much is electricity, gas, water, trash, medical insurance, car insurance, food, etc.? Now tell me, how do you afford all these from working 40 hours a week earning $12 or less an hour? Poverty is not a choice for everyone. I agree, there are quite a lot of people that are lazy, they don't want to do any work, just depend on food stamps and house voucher, but there are other majority out there hustling, and still not able to afford basic shits. Have you ever imagined a man with one or two kids earning $20/hour. How does he take care of his home with such pay? So will you now say such person is poor by choice? I believe you know how much childcare cost... even a single person earning $20 is poor... rent alone will take all your paycheck.... now don't tell me it depends on where they live. I'm not sure there's anywhere in the US right now where you will see a monthly rent below $500... you won't see that low even in the projects...
Nobody lives in this poverty as described by UN and WHO; in US and EU. I rest my case. Again, poverty is a choice here.
MrBrownJay1: the UNITED STATE CENSUS BUREAU says that there is 40m people living in POVERTY in the US, but i guess you are a better expert on the subject than them and therefore know something they dont.... abi?!?!
... but i understand your way of thinking. you just got to the US, see someone earning minimum 2K monthly, convert that in Naira in your head (aka 1.4M Nairas monthly), and thereafter mistakenly believe that everyone in the US is living comfortable lives.
Basing my experience and facts on this as regards to poverty like in Africa and Asia, nobody is living is this kind of poverty in America and Europe. No more argument from you abeg. I no know whether you dey this kind USA(United State of Adamawa)
MrBrownJay1: so because there is 24hs electricity and good drinking water in the US, people cant be poor?!?!?!? you think these poor people kiving from paycheck to paycheck aint hardworking?!?!?! what are you talking about?!
Go read WHO definition of poverty. You will understand that nobody is poor in America.
You mistake poverty by comparison. Mind you, if you think poverty is, when one drives a GMC truck and the other drives a 1995 Toyota. No it’s not. Poverty is lacking the basic necessities of life like, food, clothing, shelter, good water and electricity. Nobody lacks these in America.
MrBrownJay1: A) fast food employees (like Mc Ds, starbucks etc) barely get any tips. if you knew anything about the US , you would know that fast food workers DONT GET TIPPED IN THE US. stop confusing restaurant waiters who are something earning 3-4 times the minimum salary JUST ON TIPS and fast food workers who earn just their minimum salary. GET REAL!!! B) you sir dont know what you are talking about....if you've never had a job in the US, you CANNOT receive unemployment benefit. same as if you get fired or quit your job (in some states)... GET REAL!!! C) advertising for Jobs is one thing, but as there are hundreds of unemployed people who apply for that one job, saying that there is no poverty in the US is the LIE FROM THE PIT OF HELL! go to any job site in Nigeria and there will also be hundreds of jobs advertised...GET REAL!!! D) this is not a dikc waving contest as anyone can claim whatever life they desire on faceless forum so lets stick to the issue at hand. but claiming that there is no poverty in US/EUrope is false and any person who has ever lived around the world can attest to that. again, THERE IS NO COUNTRY ON EARTH THAT HAS NO POVERTY...let alone a place like US/EUROPE. GET REAL!!! E) you think its everyone that can get housing off some low paying job with yeye part time contract abi? you think its easy to save thousands of dollars for aplication fee, deposit fee on a low paying jobs abi? you think its anybody that can pass the CREDIT/BACKGROUND check before you can get housing, abi?!? you think its anybody who can get the proper references to rent an apt on a low paying job, abi?! you think its everybody that can earn the minimum "3x the rent" salary before you can rent a place, abi? you sir dont know what you are talking about... some of these people have 3 jobs and STILL cant get decent housing...GET REAL!!! F) a great deal of the country is crawling in DEBTS, living the type of lives they cannot afford, using credit cards and financing to make ends meet and have a semblant of a life. GET REAL!!! G) you truly sound like someone who just landed in the US... you are clueless about the country and need to get to know the country a lil bit more, travel around (if you can afford it) and discover a bit more. by the time you see enough trailer parks and ghettos, na that time you will remember what i have been telling you.
The WHO definition of poverty is - someone living below $2 a day. Nobody lives below $2 a day in the US. Everybody must not have nice house or nice cars, but nobody will go hungry and without light and water and clothes in the US. Even shelter. I eat at Qdoba, Chipotle, and many restaurants, whenever you want to pay, there is a tip attached to pay pad, which you can ignore. Any job that fast food job or restaurant that doesn’t attach tip, pays so well. Nobody is hungry in America, Besides, nobody pays 10 -12 dollars in a full time job in America, unless there is huge tips. Or the job is like do nothing almost. I repeat agin, nobody lives below WHO definition of poverty which is living below $2 a day. And no hard working person lacks basics necessities in America
GreatKingg: but nor forget say that same $2 nah some people monthly rent for naija...
See dude, in the US, we understand. Some super rich than others, but nobody is below poverty line here. No place in the US you will go that you won’t see electricity, good drinking water and all amenities, unlike Nigeria. No hard working man in America is poor. Unless you are into drugs or illegal. And I say it again, poverty is a choice in US and Europe, unlike Nigeria where people are willing to work but no job. There is nothing like no job in America
GreatKingg: Oga, calm down small... not everyone working can actually get a car finance... and where in hell will you get a monthly repayment as low as $100?.... make una dey try take am easy nah.. $100 for a car note monthly?... you nor even try say maybe per paycheck, you say monthly.. haba nah... no car shop, bank or finance house will take $100 per paycheck sef, talk more of monthly. Nah 25 years you wan take repay the loan?... abi nah mortgage..
Again, you said nobody lives below $200 daily in the US.... Is there another US in the sky abi nah this same one wey dey on earth?... Oga, calm down... people lack clothing, housing, shelter, and good water in the ALMIGHTY US. I mean even people working 40 hours a week. Guy, if you dey stay US and you don't lack nothing, be grateful to God... and also some hardwork and skills that pays good money. People wey dey do customer care or work for walmart or Amazon warehouse, how much do you think they earn? Now, with the inflation and the cost of things everywhere, how do you expect these people to be able to afford all those things you listed? you need to go out to really see how people dey live oooo.... It's not rosy for everyone out there. Let me ask you a question. All those people on Medicaid, how much you think say dem dey earn annually? Make no mistake, once you start to dey earn a dollar above the Medicaid threshold, you don't qualify for the Medicaid anymore. How you think say those people take dey get healthcare?.... abi nah ER we wan talk... You don go ER before?.... hope you know say your insurance nor cover ER if dem nor admit you?... If you go ER, nothing less than $250 go comot your pocket for copay.... so nah person wey never chop belle full wan go ER?... even if nah ordinary headache dem check you for for ER, you go still pay that $200-$250 copay... Nah rent own we wan talk?.... even for projects, how much you think say rent dey talk now?.... so now person wey dey earn $12.50/hr, work 40 hours a week. How much you think that person earns in a month to be able to afford rent, car note, clothing, food, healthcare, etc?
Nobody said everybody is bill gate in America, but when it comes to WHO definition of poverty, people living below $2 per day. Nobody lives below 2”$2 per day in the US. US and Europe have eliminated poverty. Believe it or not. Poverty now is a choice in US and Europe
MrBrownJay1: you talk like a proper African immigrant who just got off the boat... i guess in your world, because you landed in a big city and got a low paying job where you can wash dishes, flip burgers or clean floors for 10$ an hr, it means anywhere/everywhere in America there is abundance of work, lol! i guess the 40m Americans who are unemployed today and/or who can barely survive on their yeye low paying jobs, are lazy abi? the millions of GAINFULLY EMPLOYED PEOPLE who live in their car because they cant afford an apt/deposit etc are lazy abi? there is many people in the US who have a job yet live in their car, KAI!!!!
but hey, lets do the math: family of 4, you make $10+12/hr working 40hs per week in your low paying jobs, so thats roughly $2k monthly after taxes (and i am generous) $24k per yr income in the US...AND YOU WOULD BE CONSIDERED BOTTOM OF SOCIETY aka POOR, especially in expensive cities like NY, LA, San Fran, Boston etc....same in Europe like Paris or London!
...and just because some families can survive on such low income by renting apt/house 2hs away from your job, living in accomodation that looks like dog house while eating mac & cheese day and night, does NOT mean that you aint poor. same with yeye people who are taking loans to get a fancy house in a fancy neighborhood while driving a fancy car to pretend they aint poor, while living in bondage to these financial institutions (AKA REMAINING POOR FOREVER).
Dude. You are just a village man who mistakenly sees internet and start pulling shits from internet to prove your point. You have never left the shores of Nigeria. That’s why you come here and start calling people names and shaming them without even knowing them. Mind you, I am an HVAC tech and I make way above $120k yearly. People who work in restaurant or fast food earns way more than $20 an hour, because they get lots of tips. Every single individual who is an adult and have no job files for unemployment and govt pays them enough to sustain them. Big cities pay way higher above $17 most times. Don’t worry, one day you will leave village Nigeria and come to US or Europe you will understand. I won’t disturb my peace again trying to educate you. If you doubt, download indeed App and see for yourself plenty jobs wey go dey beg you to come work. Anybody unemployed is not because there is no job, it’s because they are picky. People working and living in their cars doesn’t mean they can’t afford a house. They just don’t want to pay such high rent. I will tell you again and again, Poverty is a choice in America and Europe. Whatever shanties and homeless people you see are their choice. They either chose to do drugs or migrate illegally. No hard working person is poor in US and EU
MrBrownJay1: A) i have never lived in Nigeria (unless long holidays) B) i am just giving you PROPER STATISTICS and certainly not "he say she say" personal opinion C) again, many people in the US aint addicts nor illegal immigrants and still barely living paycheck to paycheck, and cant afford basic necessities of life. its even WORSE in the US than Europe, because at least some countries in Europe have a very strong social service system (compared to the US). a jobless 18yr old French citizen will receive money from the gov to survive (even if he hasnt paid a kobo in taxes), a US jobless 18yr wouldnt receive a kobo. D) many people cant get a decent job because of the amount of legal/illegal immigrant taking up these low pay jobs. E) many people in the US are broke because of the exacts same low financing car/house/Iphones etc notes you are talking about (That they cant afford) F) addiction is NOT part of the poverty i am talking about, nor the CNBC video i just posted, if you had watched t, you would have understood that the poverty in the US that everyone is talking about must be from a different country than the US you are on about. G) ANYONE WHO LIVES PAYCHECK TO PAYCHECK AND CAN BARELY AFFORD BASIC NECESSITIES (while living on credit) ARE POOR PEOPLE ON PAPER...regardless of what you believe. credit card debts and bad/low credit score is a sign! H) just because i can go to the US today and find a job DOES NOT Mean i cant be broke and/or still poor in the US.
FINALLY, the fact that you believe that there is no poverty in the US (unless by choice) makes me truly believe that you obvously dont know much about the US/Europe or you are just one of those Africans who landed, found a low paying job that paid 10 times what you were making in Nigeria and suddenly believed you were rich (or that everyone in the US is). i can take you today to some entire neighborhoods in Atlanta/Miami, LA and you will see nothing but poverty and ghettos (and drug addicts dont rent the houses/apt there). go check Liberty City, Overtown, Opa Locka in Miami and tell us it isnt rampant with poverty. some people in NY can only afford shitty dumpster apts that i wouldnt even let my worst enemy live in. NO POVERTY IN THE US....yeah right!
This guy, you are deluded. Very deluded. Poverty in America is a choice. Lazy, drug addicts. Who don’t wanna work. There is jobs everywhere that can pay your bills. Again, poverty is not being able to afford basic necessities. Poverty in America is self made. You are so delusional. No legal migrant in America is in poverty. He talks about lazy people who doesn’t want to work and want to waste their life.
Oga, anybody who wants to work and make money can find job and work.
Joke. You just dey google things they put here they shout.
Warl0ck: God, please give Tinubu and his govt the power and ability to pull Nigerians out of poverty, tribalism and restore peace between Christians and muslim.
Nigerians na clowns 🤡 reality don dey hit una say him dey load people with trailer and offloading them into poverty. With the fuel subsidy without adequate provisions to cushion the effect, more people will lose their income due to inflation as a result of skyrocketing prices of commodities. But you still dey pray whereas you dey see reality dey happen say things dey get worse. Embrace reality and be ready for the worst.
MrBrownJay1: A) lack of parking?! drive long distance? i guess in your world, every single person in the US has a car, thus why they dont catch public transport abi? lol! just in New York, which has 3 major airports; 55% of households in NYC (aka 5 boroughs) dont own a car. B) many people who live paycheck to paycheck in the US own a car and are still broke (thanks to car notes)! C) as for you saying that there is no poverty in US/Europe (unless by choice)... you sir dont know what you are talking about. many people in US/Europe are poor because they can barely survive their paycheck to paycheck lifestyle. some cant even afford a home in places like NY/LA etc close to 40millions americans are poor, and immigration (legal/illegal) aint helping the numbers go down. same as Europe where poverty line is about 15% of the population (especially in places like France, UK, Spain, Italy)
i can take you to Paris today, and show you GHETTOS a stone thrown away from any tourist attraction. no poverty in US/EUROPE (unless by choice)?! you must be a comedian!
some yeah, and others are jobless/homeless people who aint got 1kobo to their names... aka many immigrants who thought they were gonna become the next Jeff Bezos, and ended up in the streets with no money for food nor shelter and/or return ticket. there is poverty EVERYWHERE in the world...the difference is the percentage...in Africa its about the majority of population, in the US/UK its around 15/20% depending on where you look. i am talking people who cant even get money for food nor shelter. go to any of these trailer park in the US, thats where you will see real poverty with no drugs or anything affecting them.
Have you lived in Europe or US, like lived their for years?
What you just said, is it from Google you browse am give me?
Again, did you read where I mentioned poverty is a choice, either by one overdosing on drugs and can’t live a normal life of working and paying bills or by being illegal immigrant?
Pay check to pay check doesn’t mean they are lacking. Poverty is when one lacks the basic things of life. Pay check to paycheck means you work, paid your bills and have no savings.
Mind you, once’s you are working, you can get a car financing and pay as low as 100$ a month to own a car. Mr man. I tell you again, Poverty is by choice in Europe and US. Unless you are doing drugs and or illegal and can’t find a decent work because you don’t have a record.
Stop making a fool of yourself by pulling photos off the internet of homeless people who destroyed their lives with drugs and illegal immigrants who that live in shanties.
Poverty is by choice in US and Europe. When I first moved to the US, I was changing jobs every month and was so picky that most people offered me jobs but I refused. 😂 This one dey mention trailer parks. Go there, and see if all of them no get cars, electricity, running water, cables, phone, internet, foods. Not being poor doesn’t me you will be rich, at least you will afford basic necessities of life. My work is home services industry and I dey go trailer parks all the time to do jobs, I know wetin I dey see there. Nobody lives below 200 dollars a day in the US Mr Man When you hear say there is no poverty in US or Europe, it doesn’t me everybody must be Elon Musk, it means, nobody lacks basic things here. Foods, clothing, shelter, water, name it.
Let me shock you again, those drug destroyed homeless living in tents, govt have a provision for them to be fed, and rehabilitated, but them no gree live normal life sake of say drug don destroy them. They get pulled from the streets and put in shelter for homeless but they always ran away because they can’t live without drugs and don’t want to be rehabilitated.
MrBrownJay1: they walk down the street and catch PUBLIC TRANSPORT... just like poor people do anywhere else in the world, when they go to airport.
😂 people in Europe/US catch public bus not because they are poor and can’t afford a car. They do that because of convenience, like lack of parking space and they do no want to drive long distance/ or not wanting to leave their car long enough at the airport. There is no poverty in Europe and US. Anyone who is poor is by personal choice or illegal immigrant. But Nigerians are subjected to poverty by fire by force by their leaders and it’s heart breaking.
Even homeless people (people whom drugs have destroyed) dress better than most normal people in Nigeria going on their daily business
Interesting15: When I was a little boy, despite that my immediate environment wasn't one that encouraged full-blown spirituality (in God), I usually feel the hand of God on me, and I'm usually conscious of His presence. As I approached the adolescence period of my life, as expected, sexual urges started coming, and I was also with the desire to express these emotions. Despite that the devil stationed other young teenage females around, I found myself being hindered continually from defiling myself.
While I was still contemplating, as a very young teenager (many years ago), if I should taste sex once, or wait until marriage, everything changed after God visited me with His offer.....
The Host of Heaven visited me as a young boy, and the offer was: Walk before Me and be perfect, and in return, I will give you...... In return, I will make you....
After reflecting deeply on which way to go, I decided to go for God's offer, since I discovered it is more beneficial to me. So, it means I have to fight to ensure I won't fall into temptation and displease God.
Interestingly, God made it so easy for me.. When I see young people lamenting that their sexual urges are "driving them insane", I can't really relate, because I'm fully in control of mine."
The best decision I made in my life was deciding to embrace God's offer from a very young age and walk with Him. I keep enjoying pleasantness in all regards. I keep enjoying His Grace in awesome ways. I keep getting great things others struggle for, easily.
In fact, one of the rewards was writing to encourage others to embrace purity and chastity. I have been writing since I was a young teenager, and my books and articles are being bought and read in different parts of the world - even in faraway places like India! And of course, I'm sure God is still taking me to higher grounds.
Because of that decision, I can boldly say it anywhere that I haven't indulged in premarital sex and I'm undefiled. And guess what? I'm very fine! Very healthy. I won't defile myself, and so, my messages will keep touching the world with fire, and bring people to the will of God through Jesus Christ.
Beloved, just as God gave me the offer, He is also giving you the offer to walk before Him and be perfect. If you align yourself with God by accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and you decided to devote your life to Him, He will give you dominion over sin, the devil, and creation (financially, health-wise, family-wise, etc).
Jesus said: "Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30)
Like me, you can live an undefiled life. Don't believe the lies of the devil that you can't control these urges. Stop allowing sexual immorality to wreck your life. Flee from all appearances of sin.
Jesus wants an eternal communion with you. It is your destiny to serve God in Spirit and in Truth through Jesus Christ His Son, and have dominion over creation. Open yourself to the Lord. Call upon His Name, and He will help you. God bless you.
Mr man don conclude yet that you don defeat sexual urges. You probably are a young man in your early 20s. As from 26 years upwards, Come write this thing again make I see . 😂
Na that time u go no say, prick is not educated. You go dey read Bible sef, your prick go stand 🤪
damble: Bro, I can categorically tell you there are some RCCG parishes that feed members after the church service on sundays....
Na some church members dey pay for the food you hate paying Tithe and offering for....
Your church in Russia preaches love and not hell... They know what people like hearing. Believe it or not, hell is real
Of course hell or Sheol is real. They are both Hebrew and Greek words respectively meaning - grave.
But when you put fire 🔥 for that hell then it becomes a doctrine and not biblical. But to be honest, if there were hellfire, na all of una church goers for Nigeria suppose be cast into it because una wickedness and hypocrisy no be here. 😂
LegendHero: How is Dangote going to be a monopoly?
The man also spoke about Dangote cement being a monopoly. Is this man so daft? What about Lafarge, BUA, and etc? Are they also owned by Dangote?
So na the man wey dey head NLC be this? It’s obvious he dosen’t even understand what he is saying.
Dude he is right, very right. Monopoly or cartel destroy business eliminating competition. The cement industry is like a cartel, they few guys decide the price and fix it at that. Cement in Nigeria is the most expensive than in other African countries. If cement can be imported like every other commodities, cement won’t be above 1k market price.
Go write this down, Dangote as a private business being the only one refining fuel is destructive to business
Tinibu should increase their salaries by 💯 percent too to accommodate the harsh and sharp increase of commodities. That’s how it’s done in country where sane people dey rule
Kingosytex: Some of the happenings and traditions I see daily makes me question people's sanity and state of mind. Can a whole people be foolish at the same time?
😂 When we took Philosophy in University first year, them make us understand say “mad people go dey see sane people as mad too; and sane people go dey see mad people as mad” Then philosophy come ask, who among the two is right? So them go dey see you wey no dey taste the groom as mad, then you wey no dey taste the groom go dey see them wey dey taste 👅 as mad. Now who is right? 😂
Goodlady: That dog lover should rest. Chicken wey she dey chop na another man's pet. Cow wey she dey chop na another person's god. Ask Indians if cows are edible.
So this mumu post finally enter fp. Mods of this site no get taste. I also noticed they love animals, bush meat or snakes. Smh!
Guy be calming down oo, being a celebrity or TV person comes with heavy responsibilities. Kanye West lost his billionaire status and Adidas deal because of a post. Zuma, former Chelsea player is still suffering from a post he about his cat. Paid huge fine. Hilda should be very careful what she posts. As a celebrity, avoid religious, animal /nature cruelty and anti-gay/ hate posts. Controversy around that could destroy your brand. JK Rolling, Harry Porter author, nearly lost her publishing deals for a comment she made on gay people.
