Because Nigerian wives are if not the most mistreated wives in the world. They can endure and take shit to stay in their marriage but white women no go tolerate such. Again, Most Naija men get excessive ego wey be say na only Naija women fit tolerate them. But from observation, I don’t think the whites are evil. If you want find love wey be say, woman go love you for who you are and not money, and stay loyal, you go easily find am among oyinbo women. Again, women no dey think things logically like men, so if you wan marry, remember say, na only one eye them dey take marry. If you want any marriage to last. Meaning you go overlook so many things |
Career › Re: I Am Approaching 40 And Am Scared My Dreams Are Not Realistic by OChimex: 4:31pm On Apr 28, 2023 |
greatopec: Good day Nairalanders I will be 40 on Oct 19 this year and I am scared the kind of life I have always desired may not be achievable. Let me list these things that worries me so that you can probably advise me or assist me in achieving any of them. 1) By 40 I had wished I will be living in my house with cars in my garage Current situation- I am a salary earner who eagerly waits for the salary to drop before my family can eat conveniently every month. 2)I love cars and driving. Was thinking of getting a good car for Uber business. Current situation- I have not been able to gather enough money to buy a car for Uber or personal use. 3)Seeking greener pasture abroad. Current situation- I have not been able to have enough disposable income to even get a passport to start with in the first place. 4)Self development. I had interest in programming so I decided to learn coding and all that. I started with free code camp and also this thread by iyenimofe on nairaland has been so helpful https://www.nairaland.com/1383359/learn-web-design-live-nairaland/6#17571611 The issue I have progressing is that of enough data subscription to watch more tutorials. 5)Acquisition of at least Masters. I have a passion for learning and self development but I struggled to have my HND with distinction. Gathering enough funds to start my masters program has been an uphill task.
Little about my background I am an HND graduate I have a sister who am responsible for also. I have a wife and two kids. I work 8-5weekdays Sorry Mr man. The greatest undoing for young Nigerians is going to the university to waste their precious time and come out to be paid peanut as salary. Now, the way out is to learn a very lucrative skills and quit that stupid thing you call a job, once you are settled in your new skills. I wish many young Nigerians will stop wasting their time going to school and start learning skills early. Unless you go for medical doctor, I see no reason going to the university in Nigeria. Sorry, be focused don’t give up |

However I'm scared I may put me or her family in trouble when I get there cos America is a civilized country and I'm used to the crude ways and behaviors here which is already part of me and will likely replicate them in America which will surely put me in trouble with the law.
Behaviors like urination on the streets, throwing garbage on the road and many uncivilized behaviors too numerous to mention. So please how do I Behave myself over there. Thanks for reading. Don’t be afraid village man, you will be fine. 100% of Nigeria, both educated and illiterate who have only lived their lives in Nigeria will be just like you village man when they move to developed countries because Nigeria is a village forest. Just observe people over time you will start behaving well. But, you must behave well here when you come, if you urinate for street, na jail straight 😂 |

Fineman2: My name is John. I am 35 years old. I lost my first wife in 2020, so I remarried in 2021 so that my daughter can grow up with a motherly love.
However, my new wife has made it a point of duty to always maltreat my daughter.
Each time, I want to interfere, she tells me to stay out of it. I know I should stand up for my daughter but I am in love with this woman because she came into my life when I needed someone the most.
I reached out to the family of my late wife last month to allow my daughter to stay with them while I send money for her upkeep, but they refused. They said my daughter cannot grow up without a mother and still grow up without the presence of a father in her life.
I have had several conversations with my wife and I have begged her to accommodate my daughter since she is yet to conceive but she told me to get rid of her from the house.
She practically complains about everything my daughter does. I am unhappy about this but at the moment, I am caught in between the woman I love and my beloved daughter.
Please what should I do? First, strong word need to be used on dumb men like you whose dick always decide for them. You would have put that little angel first by making sure you dated and see if a woman you wanted to marry love your kid. Now, know this. That little angel needs love and affection to grow into a better woman. It’s your responsibility to love and protect her. You have made the mistake, now, sometimes some women need a strong action to put them on check. You need a strong action to put her on check, it might be difficult, but it’s a reality. Your daughter is your 🩸 blood and your sole responsibility, but your wife is not your blood. |

Even here in America, most people don’t buy big properties like house, land, cars, upfront because you have many other bills to pay. Ask yourself, how many SANS who are not politicians have houses in America. Just a few legit businessmen in Nigeria afford that. It’s only politicians who have stolen the country dry that buy houses in the US or Europe like say na pure water them dey buy. Sometimes I wish you guys will take out Ethnicity and Religion aside and start thinking logically and making decisions based on logics. Mrwhite09: I am living like i dont have a working immune system, i fall sick regularly like every week. last week i was on malaria drugs and antibiotic, i havent finished it then again yesterday i fall sick again nd they inject me with another malaria drug and give me another antibiotic.
i am tired of taking these poisons i feel like they hv started affecting my liver, i am very vulnerable to viruses and bacterias whenever a person cough to my face the following day i will fall sick.
i dont have hiv as i did the test several times all negative, but i suspect i have cancer cux of the presence of a swollen lymph node on my neck. guys im truly tired and depressed i cant hustle normally because of my condition please if you know anything that can boost my immunity tell me. because of my condition i know a lots of antibiotics like cipro, amoxyl, doxycline, clarithromycin, azithromycin e.t.c i dont know why these doctors never get tired of prescribing these drugs to me. i live constanly with a stomach discomfort, fever, flu, colds nd catarh there is no any known ulcer meds that i hvnt take in my life but i am still thesame. its depressing me nd making me suicidal. i dont need money from anyone i just need help from people that went through thesame situation or people that know of a solution.
There was a time someone cough on me i spent complete 2weeks sick. Nigeria healthcare system is crap. The doctors are becoming dumb. Antibiotics kills your immune systems and all the healthy bacteria in your gut and stomach thereby making you vulnerable to bacterial and infections. Stop taking antibiotic for everything. Most times people just suffer from common virus like cold etc, which the body should be allowed to fight on its own, and you be free in two weeks. But Naija doctors and hospital will tell you it’s malaria or typhoid. And pump your system with antibiotic thereby killing your immune system the more. Avoid antibiotic as much as you can As for your swollen lymph, it could be a virus, infection but check with a doctor maybe ENT. Probiotic at least 10 billion whatever they call it can help your gut and replace the damage done by antibiotic |

DRPAIT123: You got the dog's breed wrong, it's actually Boerboel not boa bull. It's a serious case, to some of us who happen to be passionate animal lovers, dogs are not just mere creatures that can be discarded at will. There is a high tendency for some people to have a strong bond with their furbabies and it's completely normal. Tell your man that you should start feeding the dog (with his supervision of course). Dogs tend to get close to whoever is giving them good care and attention. It won't take too long before the dog stops getting territorial around you. Forget about feeding. Everything for. Naija dey vex, humans, animals, dogs, mosquitos. 😂 In the US no matter how big and scary a dog is, when you as a stranger walks into the house, just call the dog by their name, then go begin happy come they lick you. balo777: First off, the sucide was a joke. I would never do such. But I really need help What is a man without his dick?
I'll start from the beginning.
As a child, I used to be very anxious, it's even worse now that I'm a grown man. My anxiety can be so bad that my heart will be beating super fast like I want to die. This even happens when I'm with a woman, or when my woman tell me she's coming on so-so-so date. I've tried breathing technique but it doesn't work.
When I wake up in the morning, I get normal erection, say thirty minutes, after urinating. But when I'm with a woman, I can't perform. The only time I get effortless erection is in the morning. Every other period it's not so easy, and especially before sex.
I used to rely on drugs to help me. But one day, even Viagra failed me. Although, the anxiety was through the roof on that day and I had weak erection that can't penetrate. But when she left, after some hours, my anxiety level went down again. This happens with every girl. I usually don't have sex drive, in fact, it's only when I wake up I do.
I've failed my girlfriend. Although she's been understanding and told me she'll stay if I can find a solution to this.
From test to medicine, what can I do? Just get a girl, explain or pretend to be sick and stay with her for days or weeks and see if the anxiety will stop one day the more you get comfortable around her. |

EriMma1: Money go, woman go. When I was warning you guys in my post that a woman needs to be taken care of if you want your marriage to last, some empty skull said I too like men matter. Now see.
This skill is what you ought to have learnt first, then build your financial security before talking about marriage but You men like putting the cart before the horse.
Number 2, marriage is not for children. Forget the general opinion that it's better to marry a younger girl. mature ladies are still far better in terms of managing hard times and handling tough situations unlike your 23 yr old who has not been through lifes hurdles or surmounted challenges on her own. Prolly she just moved in with you from her parents house where everything is being done for her.
As long as you're still broke and can't meet her needs yet, no amount of begging will make her come back cos that was why she left in the first place.
Focus and complete your skill training. Make sure you learn it very well and start sourcing for jobs.. Also keep looking for a regular job to sustain in the meantime. Forget about her but try to send upkeep for your child
If you hammer tomorrow, look for a mature lady and marry.
All this 20s ladies without tangible source of income rushing into marriage with average Nigeria guys, I pity all of you. You people think marriage is childs play. Make una dey play. But Bill Gate wife leave am. Jeff Bezos wife leave am, na lack of money make them leave too? These are amongst the 4 Richest men in the world. What you said is called, fallacy of generalization. There are still many good women who are not all about money, same as good men who are not all about sex. |
