safarigirl: buff? Lol....this yeR's contestants are bland compared to the Chase mates.no be these ones for be 'hotshots' nothing hot here.

Yeah. The SA guy is okay looking, one of the best-looking guys this season. I think Idris from TZ is the best-looking one so far.

I'll call Luis MC Hammer, they look alike....Permithius seems like someone I'll like, he has an air of class and maturity to him- hope I don't get disappointed. For the ladies, Mira is the prettiest but she seems like anothe Dillish or a Jennifer.

I'm interested in Permithius and Idris for now, don't care for the others. But things may change when the show begins......that's all I'm seeing from the hotshots so far grin
LOL. Safari, I swear, you'd be Biggie. You have already crammed their names? Apart from Alausa, Idris, JJ, Mira, The S.A guy, Lilian, and the Ghanaian chick, I can't even remember the rest, much less, their names. Abeg, when the full list is out, help me paste all their names and pics in one single post so I can memorise them please.

This year's contestants, are just bleh!! I'm disappointed for real. How the fùck do Endemol choose these peeps? Don't they see, Elikem, Bolt and Hakeem's look-alikes? This show might turn out to be a borefest!!

Anyway, what I want the most is for the Naija male rep, to be as hot as the female rep. And he better don't be a Neyl (of last season). This time around, I'm not doing nationality if the Naija rep is boring. I am voting based on performance not nationality. Better tell Uti on Twitter to give us sure guy as a rep o. grin

TV/Movies › Re: Big Brother Africa 'hotshots' Official Thread by ochon: 1:32pm On Sep 25, 2014
... And just like I envisaged, the moronic and pathetic bigots have taken over thread. For Christ's sake, can't we get along without the damn E-fights all the time?!! Anywhere you find a Nigerian and a Ghanaian on a thread, they tend to fight. This is childish. Can't we criticise each other and taunt each other without it spiralling to full-blown hatred and war?

Nigerians and Ghanaians are friends real life, why can't it be so online? Taunting and criticising each country is allowed, it makes the thread lively, I welcome it. But when it turns to an E-massacare, it becomes grotesque and dreadful. O0xgen, Wale112, let's keep the attacks moderate. You can taunt back, but let the comment not get over-the-top. If y'all want fight, take it to another thread. This thread is not to serve such purposes.

@LaBellaMafianZA & Mrham03, I love the chemistry between you too. Y'all shouldn't leave or stop because of ANYBODY!! There's n derailing crime on this thread majority of what is done is derailing. That's how we keep this thread going. Without derailing, this thread will wind up in a bin. Do your thing, don't fear nobody

@Ghkwame1, I see you bro. You still fighting my Nigerian brothers? gringrin you no dey tire for all these silly E-fights? Anyway, keep defending your country sha, just make sure you greet THEAMAKA for me, and hook me up with one sexy Ghanaian lady. You know I love Ghana girls. wink

Ksslib: Yes. Den dem go activate you after saying the request dey process. If e tey and them still no send you message say you don enter the plan. Dial the code like 6times see.

If e still no work, call customer care say make them activate PAYG plan for you.

Something wey me don share give people tire via wifi plus feed from people too.

The only plan I know of that cannot be shared via wifi is mtn's bbc daily 100nira sub thats capped at 3gig. Works on only BB devices.
OK. Once I recharge, I go just dial that code you listed, abi?
Rap Battles › Re: NL Rap Battles chatroom by ochon: 11:20pm On Sep 24, 2014
Ksslib: I dont quite get. But if what you mean is if it works on BB and android, yes it does. I use mine on my samsung galaxy.

Plus you can share it to other devices or feed from them via wifi.
Yeah, that's what I mean.

Wow!! But I thought that eti doesn't share data through WIFI?
Rap Battles › Re: NL Rap Battles chatroom by ochon: 10:55pm On Sep 24, 2014
Ksslib: Etisalat Payg plan..

Dial *229*5*7# .. When it activates, you'll be charged 15naira for every 5mins unlimited download you make..

15naira ---- 5mins
xnaira ---- 30mins = 9O naira for 30mins .. Then 180 naira for 1hour unlimited download...

I have a special sim for this.. I dont call with it. Anytime i load money, i just start browsing till it finishes.. And note:: the 15naira is deducted automatically every 5mins, so no need to re-subscribe every 5mins.. Works on laptop too. Even with as little as 100/200naira, i dey wreck damage..

If you have any question, ask..

*******
scon P, thanks. I am flattered.
WOW!! Does it work on both BB plan and Android plans?

Aranaa: This site has really opened my eyes to a lot of things I was not aware of. What I don't understand is, if you say Ghana is so useless etc. Why are you proud of believing that you actually control 50 percent of our economy? Does this help the average Nigerian in Nigeria? Smdh
Actually, you are wrong. You are a Ghanaian living in Nigeria right? Have you seen the hate (BTW Ghanaians and Nigerians) you see on NL, offline? Out there in Nigerian street? Don't judge with NL. This bickering and madness ends on NL. Most of these people are just jobless lots bickering like women on their periods (no offence to women). I've got mad love for Ghana peeps, and my friends in Ghana tells me good tale about Ghanaians. We love each other but bicker online. That's just it.

All you loners who come to Nairaland sending PMs to girls with "F" signs on their profiles because you're searching for love and hoping to take it to the next level.
The Nairaland webfolk now wrongly believe I'm a psycho because I keep telling girls to send me newwdz. But have you really taken time to ask yourselves who needs love when you can have newwdz instead?

Ksslib: thanks. I too felt it. By haphazard, you mean they were too common? or elaborate better..

I developed interest cos its a creative art that lets you think. Keeps the brain busy, and over time, i believe can improve problem solving skills cos you have to read inbetween the lines most of the time to decipher, plus pay attention to small details. Above all, its good sport for the brain..
Common ke? Nah. Your writtens packed enough heat. What I mean is that you had better punches, but they weren't "consistent." As in, they didn't rhyme. For example, your puncheslines/wordplays might end with let's say, 'ate', but the build-ups to the punches ended with "ter" etc. So your rhyming wasn't consistent, but your opponent's own was consistent rhymming. He made his punches rhyme with his build-ups. Once you rhyme well, you'll be unstoppable there.

And yes, you are right. Those sparring requires deep thinking and increases the functions of the brain, that's why I find it interesting to always come there to read. I also learn new words from the sparring. Nice section.

Romance › Re: Is Jealousy Part Of Love? by ochon:
Personally, I can't date or marry any girl that doesn't have a tinge of jealousy for me, and vice versa.

Small jealousy or moderate jealousy is needed, it shows one cares about his or her significant partner. Jealousy is man's nature, so it's nothing to be ashamed of.

However excessive or over-the-top jealousy, is a no-no for me. It kills my love for a girl faster than a marksman bullet to his target. When a girl gets overtly jealous over little things, or even ask I cut off my female friends that have been there before she came, without any CREDIBLE reason(s), then I'll have to find my way out of that relationship. Most times, it leads to headaches from the nagging partner.

But one partner should try his or her best to be open about his or her dealings with opposite genders, to reduce his or her partner's chances of getting overtly jealous. Don't give him or her reasons to get overtly jealous.

Normal jealousy - a welcome development

Excessive jealousy - hell to the NO!!
