Yes you can defer till September 2022 Pls should I accept the conditional offer first before writing a deferment letter to the RGU admission office? Also, pls help me with a sample of your statement of purpose used in answering the two questions that university sent to us by mail. Thanks! |

I got conditional offer to study Masters on I.T at RGU. Pls those that got admission or so at Robert Gordon University (RGU), i need your help to clarify the following;
Will Robert Gordon University accept a family member or relative to pay my deposit fee on my behalf ?
Pls how do I notify or request to RGU that I want to defer my program from January 2022 to September 2022 ?
Is it even possible to defer my program? If yes, when exactly is the right moment to defer my studies? Is it immediately after getting an unconditional offer? pls is it possible to defer my program before receiving CAS letter or after getting my CAS letter?
How Do I pay deposit fee at RGU?
Besides the £12950 tuition fee, pls what exactly is the general fee cost including maintenance fee and other additional charges? |

Munamoqel: Fellow studens on budget alway ensure you check the enrollment policy of the school ooh. Dont go and borrow pof and think you can use partime to pay .so school request 50 percent at point of enrolment ooh some 60 .some 35 to get unconditional admission and 35 on enrolment .some have only 3 installment . What of RGU? I think Robert Gordon University demands 35% of tuition deposit payment before getting an unconditional offer.. |

I studied political science (BSc) and have no degree or much experience on IT, and I got an conditional offer to study MSc in Information technology at Robert Gordon University. But when I was applying for IT, there was Graduate Diploma also on the course besides masters, does this mean that RGU can automatically select your course degree to Diploma even if you applied for Masters in IT esp. based on my degree qualifications? I also indicated on my SOP that I was pursuing a career change to IT field even though i studied Pol. Sci |

I just got a January 2022 admission conditional offer at RGU on MSc Info. Tech and I noticed that part of their conditional offer is that I have to pay 34% of the tuition fee. So I want to ask U : -Did you pay 34% of your tuition fee at RGU before obtaining an unconditional offer? - Is possible to defer my program at RGU till September 2022 even on a conditional admission offer? - |

Ujules: There’s nothing wrong in changing course different from what you studied in undergrad. Just be able to convince the visa officer your reason for career change in case you’re asked for an interview.
I’m also in same shoes with you, studied History and Diplomatic Studies and want to switch to IT for postgrad at Robert Gordon Uni. Still haven’t gotten a response though I applied two weeks ago.
I applied for similar course at Edinburgh Napier at same time and they have responded and given me conditional offer. My top choice is RGU cos fees is cheaper plus scholarship. I’m still waiting for them to respond sha, cos I don’t want to commit fund to Edinburgh Napier. Ok. Was it a Masters program on Information Technology that you applied for at Edinburgh Napier or was it PG Diploma? |

Mindlog: I trained as a Counseling Psychologist, now doing my Msc in Clinical Child Psychology. I hope to work with the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) of the NHS.
What I got before travelling to the Uk was the MBPsS, which is the Graduate membership of the British Psychological Society and that qualified me to apply for Assistant Psychologist jobs in the UK even as a student. Wow, what a wonderful career path. My bro read Medicine in Ukraine at undergrad level (no housemanship experience though) is now studying Masters In Public health Nutr. in UK. Hopefully he'll be able to work in NHS too while studying and doing his Foundation year programs (FY1 n FY2) as he plans to get licensed as a medical doctor in UK after completing his PLAB exams as well... |

UK Tier 4 Visa Application - 18th September 2021(Priority). I am the main applicant and my wife is the dependent.
Course of study- M.Sc in Information Technology and Network Management at Robert Gordon University at Aberdeen, Scotland
Biometrics - Wednesday 22nd September 2021 at Ikeja TLS for myself and my wife. My wife had appointment but I did walk-in as I can’t wait till 24th September because school has resumed since 13th September and my own biometrics was meant to be 24th September.
Monday 27th September 2021 - Received first NSF Mail
Monday 4th October 2021 - Received 2nd NSF mail. Shortly after I received a call and an email from UKVI for a video interview slated for the following day 5th October for 9:30am. ( At this stage we have disposed of most of our things at home and we’re practically sleeping on the floor. Imagine the tensions that were already creeping into our mind and lives?)
Tuesday 5th October 2021 - Video interview commenced as scheduled and lasted for about 1 hour. Questions asked ranges from reasons for my previous three visa refusals from 2003(two refusals) and 2016(one). The also asked reasons for the 13 year educational gap between B. Sc (2008) and intending M.Sc(2021) and what I have been doing in-between those years. They asked other others ranging from why I wanted to study IT, why I chose Robert Gordon Uni, what myself and wife were doing for a living amongst other sundry questions then the interview ended.
Monday 11th October 2021 - Wife’s profile moved to VAC and later that day a pickup mail was delivered .
Tuesday 12th October 2021- My profile moved to VAC and a pickup mail was sent later that day.
We both travelled to Lagos on Friday to pick up our passport with our visa inside.
It was a torrid journey which started in May 2021 and had a lot of delays from my university(Olabisi Onabanjo University) failing to process my transcripts on time to RGU first offering me a pre-masters which I rejected to the real masters admission coming out late on the 1st of September 2021. What about having to go to the Ikoyi registry to correct numerous errors on our wedding certificate which they made three times? The numerous near accidents on the Lagos/Ibadan expressway amongst others.
In all these we thank the good lord that the whole project was successful at the end. can u send me your statement of purpose on MSc in Information Technology pls? |
