VO: what's your second major? (She corrected her self on looking at my I-20)

VO: how will you fund your studies?
ME: I got a full tuition waiver + (at this point she was no longer interested in what o was about to say again) RA which comes...(I stopped talk since she wasn't even interested again).

VO: can I see a letter from the school showing this funding?
ME: gave her my admission letter.

VO: what do you do presently?
ME: Working as a Technical Support Analyst in an IT firm.

VO: what's your research interest.
ME: Energy storage.

VO: Are you married?
NO: No

VO: where do you work?
ME: Trefoil Networks.
VO: okay, its an IT company right.

VO: I will be keeping your passport ( She already kept it the first time I gave it to her). So she smiled and said your Visa has been approved.

I heard everything she said afterwards but i did not just care.

Questions she did not ask.

How many school do you apply to?
What will you do after your PhD?
Will return back to Nigeria? (She probably did not want me to lie lol).

It about the currency.... i used both visa (diamond bank) and master (gtbank).. i was told it must be a dollar account.

Please I applied through paper route on Oct 9, I linked it online after, yesterday I got an update on my application and I was told "we regret to inform you that you are not eligible "

Everything other thing was fine.

Later I saw the comments /status as refused.

Have been sent a mail by vsf to come pick my processed passport 03/11/2017.

Please people how do I know the reason for refusal?

What are the eligible criteria?

I submitted documents of 1.8m SOA. leave approval from my office, 3 month pay slip of 220k, certificate of marriage, consent form my wife, affidavit of age prove, hotel bookings and flight reservation, family details and employment history, reference letter, purpose of travel, intenary and passport.

Note I got no travel history...

As a single girl, I never ate more than what I could pay for on a date, I always went out with money on any date I had. Ladies of nowadays, I no dey too understand them sef. He sat me down and went straight to the point, that if I don't lay with me i should forge about the job that he is untouchable..I was just staring at him, and as he finished talking,I just told him they"God bless you sir, you will surely be rewarded, I won't budge to your offer, but will keep on searching until God gives me my ordained job". I was almost in tears,but just struggled to hold my self and calmly walked out..
