The Biafra war was a war of Igbo vs the whole Nigeria. It lasted for 3 solid years. The foot soldiers that fought that war on Nigeria side were majorly middle beltans. Benue and plateau. So I wonder where weak Yoruba's come into d picture.

Nigeria equally has oil money. Malaysia, Indonesia and Turkey are not rich in oil resources. Had it been that 'Biafra' or Niger Delta had a country, they would have been killing each other like the equally Christian South Sudan. When the Niger Delta and 'Biafra' had nothing, it was the resources of the North that the Nigerian government used to develop the oil blocks, so try to see the Northern resource use as an investment.

Historically, before your Christian colonisers came to Africa and kidnapped your grandfathers to be their slaves, and stole your resources to develop their countries, Muslim empires were what made Africa, like the Mali, Songhai, Fulani empires...it was Islam that made Africans civilised then.
The North's so-called 'backwardness' today is due to the coloniser's destruction of all those who would not bow to them.
If you think you are developed now because of the widespread nudity and irresponsible sexual habits that make up civilisation today, it is probably only because your grandfathers were subservient to their British masters...hardly something to be proud of.

If that was the case, then why are there countries like Brunei, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Indonesia, Malaysia..all practising the same religion, but much richer on the index than the Christian parts of Nigeria?
