Tayeni: I beg to differ sir. Gucci won't be happy to see her handiwork....what she is doing isn't putting money inpocket... its sabotage. Read something about counterfeiting on wikipedia.
That we are third world doesn't mean we shouldnt encourage creative people to build their own brands. There is nothing wrong in it,it is different from counterfeiting because it is not been sold as original brand, prikin bag, Gucci,Versace, puma, jojo armani etc all have a strong imitation in China producing at large scale yet the company is not bordered because is just ordinary polo they produce in large quantity and put puma or jojo armani on them,it help to advertise the original company name worldwide, that is why they are keeping quiet about it. |

Tayeni: miss, nobody is hating. If she listens to this correction...she stands to legitimately make more money. Go to Ojota market. There are shops there that sell fake liquid soap labels of known brands....shops that buy flavours and chemicals in bulk, and then they adulterate it with harmful nonfood grade substances and package it in smaller packs.
These are the kind of mind sets we shouldn't have in this country. let me ask you this.....how would you feel if someone fakes your product and sells at dirtcheap prices.....after you have borrowed money from the banks to build your brand...after you have spent many sleepless night brainstorming and cooking up brilliant ideas on how to make money. The sooner this lady creates her own footwear brand, the sooner she will arrive at her dream. You need money to build up,there is nothing wrong in copycating a super brand. China and Taiwan copycats for years before they started with their own brands. |

For those shouting scam,Nigeria is a third world country and copycat is allowed as far as is not sold as original ones,Gucci and Versace will be happy to see her handiwork because that will promote their brand. Copycat is different from producing sub standard goods or piracy. China and Taiwan started like that and nobody sue them. |

You are getting it wrong, the girl is right in what she is doing, business have to lean on bigger ones to shoot. China,Taiwan started with copycat and to today they have shoot up,copycat is not a crime for a third world developing country and nobody will sue her for that, she is trying to break even with a known product,Gucci and Versace will be happy for what she is doing, as far as is in third world country. |

Eastwalk: How about poverty, http://www.worldbank.org/en/country/nigeria/publication/nigeria-economic-report-improved-economic-outlook-in-2014-and-prospects-for-continued-growth-look-good
While the South of Nigeria has relatively low poverty rates, ranging from 16% in the South West to 28.8% in the South East.
According to the report, SE which claims to be the most industrious, and enterprising has the highest percentage of masses living below poverty line in the southern region Dont rely too much on purported media propaganda, SE is average in terms of poverty rate, better than SW and SS in southern Nigeria, those that travel well in Nigeria can confirm this,SW is just living on media painting, the interior villages in SW is like villages in SE in 1960s,take it or leave it,i know what i am talking about,Sw is just using lagos that was developed by FG,collective wealth of Nigerians and colonial masters to cover up |

amc: So you prefer your states to be living off handouts from the FG? Before you tax people to their deaths as it is happening in Lagos where many people are committing suicide at a mass scale, government should provide enabling environment first, in rich oil countries in Arabs world, people don't pay tax, they manage their oil money well and allow individual to enjoy the sweat of their labor, government should concentrate on building industries, attracting investment and not stealing poor peoples money in the name of IGR. |

FlyoruB: Yinmu. Look here Chikelue2000 or whatever, Lagos was destined to be great, with or without Igbo contribution. #Fact. The SW was already blazing the trail and setting the pace even during regionalism. You people should go and build something akin to Lagos in the SE then maybe we would begin to take you seriously. Till today, your region still can't boast of a standard CBD like the ones in Lagos, Abuja and the Ibadan one below, yet you are bragging about developing Lagos?? Till today una no even get a single building in your entire region that is as tall as Cocoa house that was built in the mid-sixties, and you dey there dey make mouth. Just keep quite because lagos and Abuja was developed by FG with ND oil money"Between self Lagos is not a yoruba land-Oba Akiolu " |

That would be a glorious exit indeed and he would be beloved by everybody as well as making history as the first president of Nigeria to willingly and voluntarily resign. So that a yoruba man will take over abi and north will swallow it just like that abi,if Buhari bows out,Osinbajo must also bows out on glorious exit |

History is there for you to visit and read about Aworis, you may not be an Awori man in the first place self, Aworis are originally not yorubas, Eguns are not yorubas because they have their own language that a yoruba person cannot understand.Awori is a yoruba subgroup based on influence |

Chapterr5ive: Those animals have no shame. They love distorting history, reason they are now claiming lands of SS people. I now know why those Ikweere people hate them, i ignored this thread until one lunatic said Aworis are not Yoruba. Akiolu is Oba of Island, he is not even my king. My king is Oba Alamu Oloyede of Ikosi land. There are Ijebus also and they own Ikorodu and Epe, i even have distant cousin in far away Ota, Ogun state. Mr man you sound frustrated here, ranting up and down....,Is Igbos the Oba of Lagos that said that Lagos is not part of Yoruba land. Aworis are originally not Yorubas but influenced by yoruba language, over the years and can be referred now as yoruba subgroup,Eguns on other hand dont like to partner with Yorubas and still maintain their language and always fight with yorubas over their land grabbing tendencies in lagos. |
