It was very stupid and disrespectful of him to have worn a crown to meet a Yoruba king. Was he trying to compare himself to a monarch? Eze Ndigbo title is just for representation of the Igbos in diaspora, but some of the so called Ezes have taken it too far. Trying to wear a crown in another man's region means asking for trouble when you know you're not a monarch. Only the likes of Obi of Onitsha etc may wear a crown to visit a fellow king as those are true monarchs.

If the Yorubas won't have Oba in Onitsha, I see no reason why the Igbos should have an Eze Ndigbo in any state outside their region. That's just disrespectful . . . to add insult to injury, he wore a crown to meet the DEJI OF AKURE! Chai. . . Igbo people can fall my hand with lack of respect. Why are people just deliberately ignoring the clear fact to make political point. A country's mission to an international organization is an advisory body to the head of government concerning all issues and dealings with that organization. Failure to identify and inform the government of the relevant meetings that needs to be attended is a failure of the mission in one of its most elementary duties. The head of mission and all its members involved directly or remotely should be recalled and remanded to desk duties at the foreign affairs ministry with close monitoring for the next five years. They have all apparently being sleeping at their duty post all these while.

Hmmm. So much for change... 2.6trn was lost on the stock exchange from may 29th till August. Few days ago,I read that around 410bn naira has been withdrawn from the stock exchange by foreign investors. This means from may 29th till now(4 months),the stock exchange has lost around 3trn naira,and we still have another 3 months to go before year end;why won't the economy slip/slide into recession? Buhari should get busy with reviving the economy whilst still going around with his anti-corruption campaign. Nigeria cannot afford a recession with over 170million people. Those of us doing business are already feeling it and if things continue like this,I fear for what the next phase will be.
