The worst . Shagari second |
Ekitis have turned themselves into a laughing stock and the object of Internet jokes/memes. Even fayemi is not at fault here. He should have used some of his time educating and changing the village herd mentality. Apart from the out of state students ( ondo, lagos, osun, oyo, edo, delta,) of the university and polytechnic, an educated professional would find it hard finding like minds, with whom to mix. The diaspora are equally at fault for abandoning that state and leaving the people to their devices. |
Sometimes, sometimes, leaders should be chosen for some people simply because they either do not deserve the vote or they are a danger to themselves with the vote. those who voted this fayose clown and the one in aso rock do not deserve the vote. |
Dead man walking |
kettykin:Femi otedola : buying diesel from abroad for sale in Nigeria. Adenuga : textile, banking telecommunications, on do off shore. Folawiyo : manufacturing, importation of fish, finished goods. Oil assets based off shore in lagos. Nothing Niger delta about it. |
Intelligence can never be hidden or suppressed. There are thousands more where he came from. Simply watch this unrelated interview. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VnffbdMZG5c |
The rice has started growing in their stomachs. What kind of paint is that? Will you be able to scratch off diamonds off the walls |
Austerity :aka You suffer, we enjoy ............and continue stealing. For those who are not well versed,Austerity goes like this. 1There is a downturn In the economy. 2 the money going out is more than what is coming in. Basically spending more than you earn( akotileta). The sensible thing to do, Cut waste, tax the wealthy and only concentrate on the essential. Waste like constituency projects, Abuja tower, closing down or handing over all the rubbish glorified landing strips("airport " ,reducing the number of ministries and getting rid of political jobbers like the assistant to the assistant deputy assistant to the minister of education. What they willactually do : 1 Nothing about the waste and corruption 2 remove Subsidy but continue to award Subsidy 3 borrow borrow but it will all end in foreign banks 4 the number of private jet will continue to increase 5 they will start selling government property to themselves for peanuts( refineries, railways, government buildings, airports etc 6(..........put anything want in this space............... What will happen 1 your petrol prices will rise, expect N150 per litre. 2 expect to pay more than N200 for $1 3 Everything imported into the country will get more expensive like rice( that one for ekiti). Since we make almost nothing, you will become poorer.fori instance, most nigerians are more or less 21% poorer than they were 2 months ago due to the recent devaluation alone. You will be paying 20 naira more for every N100 you spend. 4 predictable, the useless civil service will go on strike 5 every other thing after number 4 |
This man squandered his goodwill by going the way of the oppressors. The Subsidy theft and subsequent removal Elevation of convicts across the country Empowerment of rejected abacha era sycophants Destruction of governing institutions Highest level of corruption ever Enslavement of the people with IMF/ World bank policies Monumental theft from the treasury. Lack of control over subordinates. Reduction of the country to a medieval existence. Clan mentality. Insecurity and bloodshed all over. Turning Nigeria into a global object of derision. Spreading of poverty all over. All this means that the urban living SW are not going to buy his BS. His paid trolls on nairaland have also hardened the resolve of most omoluabis here to participate actively this time around.. |
Free primary and secondary education, not free or subsidized tertiary education. University Studenta and civil servants are not the only citizens. There are 150 million other mostly poor citizens. If you want good labs and facilities, then grow skin in the game and pay the amount appropriate for the standards demanded. How do you pay for it? Ask your parents where grandpa's farmland is located ? How do I know? Because I am making good money ( not even primary income) from it. However most Nigerians are just too damn lazy. They prefer to Okada from 5 in the morning till 12 midnight rather than spend only 4hrs on the farm per day. |
Omoluabi kaare. Only evil aka the forces of darkness are afraid of the truth and the light. |
The poisoned rice. |
slimfit1:Commonsense is not taught in Uni. Patriotism isn't either. |
So I expect someone with an online media platform with millions of monthly visits /views to be poor ? Abi no be so. That attempt at blackmail and "nitwitness" only reside in planet Nigeria. |

Akpabio is typical of most Nigerian politicians( apart from amaechi , fashola , Amosun and oshiomole) . They steal most of the money, use part of the test to buy loyalty and militias( thugs) and spend the rest they end up not stealing, on building rubbish. The only state with such agro potentials to feed urban centres in PH and Aba, availability of land and with the financial resources to put every woman over 24 years old in council/public housing deserves a lot better. I guess this is the replication of the Jonathan's so-called development by crappy glorified landing strips. Aeropolis they called it. How things could have been different if those riches has come under Obong Attah( the person who fought for and won the oil dichotomy battle) . At least with Attah, you can expect stuffs related to gradual organic growth, with the wave lifting all boats. |
The terrorist are tactically "out-witting" the military. They are spreading the war and picking at weak points so as to make the military spread their resources thin. Instead of the army to take the initiative, they are reacting instead of acting. In short boko harem is beating the drum and the Nigerian army is dancing. My instincts tell me that their immediate target remains Maiduguri. |
yousee:If you can't see it ,you should put on glasses. Can't you see regenerative infrastructure? The writer is right. National Art theatre, iganmu comes to mind. |

My advise to people is for them to make to remember their father's address. You can almost tell how this is going to end. Eventually , thing will go ballistic in that country . |
O ma she o N2000 to sell the future of your unborn children. Feudalism. |
Yep. Karma is a biiiitchh. We will see how it going to end. |
That you see American or America at the back of it does not mean that it is full of intelligent people . In actual fact , the vast majority of the people in the country ,like every other country , are no more discerning than Ekiti voters. Most people go with the flow , very few take a step back and analyse. That is why you see illiterates in Africa scamming professors elsewhere. |
warrior01:Your question should be , How many Nigerians and non Yorubas has fashola lifted out poverty?" Answer : millions Y'all come to the SW with the Ghana-must-go on your head ,head straight to one of the slums, put your kids in one of Lagos public schools , give birth in a hospital ( all things virtually (non - functional) in your region. You become slightly enlightened and all of a sudden, I did it on my own. According to your logic , the roads, bridges, hospitals are being built by robot ,rubbish collected by invisible men ,garden and park tended by zombies , power stations just growing from the ground etc ? |
Aribiidiot is an example of the typical loud Nigerian. 1Opinionated but crude and loud. 2Argues without understanding the topic. 3Lacks the sophistry to contextualise the topics at hand. 4Educated but only functionally literate. 5 Hopelessly Corrupt 6Shallow and obsessively materialistics 7Civic illiterates 8Lacks the knowledge of the purpose of government 9Civic illiterate . 10 Full of compensatory egocentrism( inferior complex masquerading as superiority). I do not read the man's insanity masquerading as article. |
ROSSIKE:I avoid replying morons but I will put that aside for now. The Nigerian government which cannot afford to pay salaries or repair the most strategic roads has the money to waste on unviable airports . All the airports put together( apart from MMA) , do not have the traffic of London city airport near East ham and that is essentially a landing strip for mostly private jets . What do you know? #slowpoke |
Jilo83:Oil money ko , oil money ni. This is the cannibalised version of Lagos . 40% of government earnings come from here ,so how is it oil money? Your oil money , most of which is stolen at source , and the rest only goes as far as exchanging naira for dollars in the SW. Even that is covered by reparations from odua states overseas citizens. Nothing Lagos or London about these pictures. These pics below feel more like it. No fences ,less congested and unabused . These scenes were replicated in all major towns and cities of odua States. Terraced buildings without fences lining well planned streets . There was 1 Light 2 pipe borne water straight to your shower. 3good schools 4 health facilities 5 town planning and enforcement of building codes 6 proper law enforcement. 7 in some area , daily deliveries of fresh milk . 8 enforcement of trading laws All provided by the western regional government. We had this until a certain devious unitary decree. My dad told me of the story of mothers smacking their children for eating canned and other processed food( which were considered unhealthy even then) . back then , almost every house had someone who was close to 100 years old , whom you will see sitting outside the fenceless compound, counting down his /her days. Wonder why they die young nowadays . Main points 1 you see working traffic lights 2 you see the law abiding bikers obeying traffic rules 3 Lagos was bike friendly ( licensed drivers) 4 electricity supplied by the electricity company of western nigeria ( soon to be stolen and converted to NEPA) 5 you ships sailing from the western Nigeria controlled apapa port . Who can forget the first night of holiday , playing mid fight football on the street ,right in front of our house while popsie and his pals quash lager( those first holiday night were nights of freedom else you must be in bed by 8:30) . It was that safe. Nigeria is a liability for odua states , simply brings nothing but sorrow, tears and blood.
