Akpabio is typical of most Nigerian politicians( apart from amaechi , fashola , Amosun and oshiomole) .

How many people and families has the administration of Fashola lifted out of poverty in the last 7 years ?( a case of Okada riders and traders readily comes to mind) Rather, what we have is more people sinking back into poverty due to the policies of the state government which largely have negated jobs creation. The Nigerian government which cannot afford to pay salaries or repair the most strategic roads has the money to waste on unviable airports .
All the airports put together( apart from MMA) , do not have the traffic of London city airport near East ham and that is essentially a landing strip for mostly private jets .

40% of government earnings come from here ,so how is it oil money? Your oil money , most of which is stolen at source , and the rest only goes as far as exchanging naira for dollars in the SW. Even that is covered by reparations from odua states overseas citizens.
