I agree with the VP on taxation system in lagos. The tax I pay is outrageous as compared to when I was in PH. Everyone in the company is complaining of the high tax system being imposed.

If the taxes were unbearable like you said, you would not be resident in Lagos. The only argument you may have is unfair taxation( people dodging taxes, people not captured at all and the rich not paying a fair share of taxes on their income.
If you want lower taxes , then campaign and vote on people paying a fair share.
If you doubt me , just call anyone in those countries we love running to.

Goodluck and be ready to be patient in this goodluck and patience transformation era.

A Useless force full of unemployable and stark illiterates in a country full of unemployed graduates of law , criminology, psychology,sociology,microbiology, biochemistry ,material science , mathematics,statistics and even forensic science ( I personally know 2 Nigerians with qualifications in forensics ) ,you would think it would be no brainer building a competent police force.

Why go through all the headache for something which is readily available ? Detailed plans and design of most public buildings (apart from a few) are available on google , in public libraries , universities worldwide etc. even documentaries on airports are blockbusters nowadays.
Airports fall into the same category as hotels ,restaurants etc .They must be welcoming and with emphasis on good customers service. Nigeria is simply antiquated.
From your airports ,educational curriculum NYSC to NNPC , wasting money on Abuja etc
The human infrastructure at those airport leave much to be desired. Take a trip to your local bank or MTN office and then to the airport. Make a CS comparison

The Only non-oil taxation in this country is mostly applied only in yorubaland.

Stop there .the SW earns her keep. You better look at the sources of federal income to know that. No one ask for regionalism to be abolished. True and loose federalism and resource control is the minimum demand of the people. The potential value of tourism from peace without all the baggage that comes with nigeria is unquantifiable.

Why should lagos and the SW cater for responsibilities of other states. They send their economic refugees , should we also take care of their vagrants and destitutes?
Many of these states collect huge sums of money relative to their small population (made huge by a fraudulent census.) . North ,East and South .they collect money and waste the money building rubbish.
Even yet , their governors and leaders spend all their time partying in Abuja .Their local government exist only in the nigerian constitution and only opens once a week to share/steal the allocation into their pockets.
Many so-called Agro states do not have a single functional tractor.
Schools : either does not exist or could as well not exist.
Hospitals: you must be joking.
Government and governance: non existent and only useful for building business empires.
Any aspiring filmmaker should go to a typical lagos police station at night, to see the sheer number of destitutes and young under-aged girls selling their bodies.
I can understand someone being transferred or looking for a specialist kind of work and opportunity but for everything else, no state or region ,especially Those comprising the big 3 ethnic groups should be exporting huge numbers of migrant.
They can make their states into becoming whatever they are looking for in lagos .
You can be in some parts of osun and get 10 terrestrial TV stations built and funded by both the government and individuals. Same thing goes with education , health , hospitality etc.
You would be hard pressed getting one tv station elsewhere.
They do not create the environment for their people to thrive and later blame someone else for their failing.
The Lagos government should know that there are indigens of Ekoo and their interest must always come first in everything from housing , health and other social services.
