PoliticsAre The Presidential Candidates Talking Issues? by ofala(op): 12:29am On Jan 27, 2011
Beyond cash-sharing and accusations, it seems the present presidential candidates are yet to address the basic issues that are besieging this country. In as much as many Nigerians are suffering under PDP federal government, who among the opposition presidential hopefuls do you think has shown or merely said things that might bring restorations to Nigeria?
PoliticsRe: Voter Registration. . . Jega Asks For Another N6.6bn by ofala(m): 12:05am On Jan 27, 2011
Jega may not be a perfect human but from every indications, he has shown some signs that draws him apart from the Iwu era. One point is that Nigeria or do i say our politicians are always looking at where money is going into, especially if its coming from the Federation Account.Has anybody asked why poor Jega is asking for this ,more money?Has anybody bothered to question what the law makers are doing for taking huge chunks of our National budget for their person frivolities? Methink it makes sense to spend as much if only we can flush these gluttons out from power,

MORE REASONS WHY WE MUST ASK EVERYBODY WHO HASN'T REGISTERED TO DO THAT IMMEDIATELY
PoliticsRe: Jonathan Appoints Ojukwu's Wife As Special Assistant by ofala(m): 11:50pm On Jan 26, 2011
Smart move by the GEJ kitchen planners. The fact is that they might have taken Mrs Ojukwu to draw Ikemba's supporters but looking at it the other way, she is capable of doing much more than they might have envisaged only if they wouldn't use her for campaign purposes and dump her soon after the elections,  lipsrsealed
BusinessRe: Tobechi Onwuhara: The King Of Home Equity Fraud by ofala(m): 8:20pm On Jan 26, 2011
I wonder why people like X-Factoria will not see the huge security lapses there and how a young mind that would have beneficial to this generation turned into.I don't support his actions but saying that its only Igbos that do this is simply MYOPIC-MINDED and UTTER CHILDISH!
LiteratureWhat Writers Need: by ofala(op): 7:46pm On Jan 26, 2011
If you are like me, i really do not think that there is ANYTHING that can stop me from writing but the truth is that as someone who writes for the fun of it, you may sometimes forget that your passion for writing can take you to the topmost belt of the society.

The issue of procrastination is one that had killed and is still killing the dreams of many potential great writers. I wrote this  http://africhat.com.ng/showthread.php?tid=85&action=newpost   and felt it is a MUST read for any writer who is having issues with writing to the top,

Enjoy it and gab the lessons there-in,
CultureRe: A Nigerian Man Threatened Me, What Should I Do? by ofala(m): 3:00pm On Jan 24, 2011
@Poster, it is quite unfortunate that you let what you watch in mere movies misinform you.I am beginning to wonder if you are an adult(no offense meant here plz).I have been to India but i have not seen where people are singing and dancing in the streets in the love of love(as portrayed in their films).I have also been to USA and i am yet to see anywhere where people are shooting down tall buildings just because one person is wanted(as portrayed in their movies)

I had earlier taken this issue of portraying Juju rubbish with some movies producers who are quite close tome and they insist that it is what sells, FINISH!

Can some adults out there watch Nigerian movies or any other country's movies for the matter, get entertained and not think that it is how the people behave? This erroneous thinking has to stop. If a Nigerian threatened  you, i want to say that any body from anywhere around the world could threaten anybody too. If you have to report the threat to the police, please do, but NOT JUST BECAUSE THE PERSON IS A NIGERIAN!   embarassed
PoliticsRe: Nnewi City: Abandoned And Neglected! by ofala(m): 8:17pm On Jan 19, 2011
With amount of commercial activities currently going at Nnewi,I don't think it will be wrong to say that the Fed Gov has deliberately overlooked the town.

PoliticsRe: Open Invitation To All Well Meaning Nigerians by ofala(op): 4:45pm On Nov 26, 2009
Listen up here, No one has forced anyone to join. No one even says revolution entails bloodshed. I am an apostle of peaceful solutions but the situation we have in our dear Country require serious 'relooking' at. I am not saying anyone who like this should bring a leg or an arm. But why do we always complain about our politicos but lack every iota of vein to question them? I expected people to ask the kinda revolution that is being planned. It is a free worlds anyway BUT ONE THING I KNOW IS THAT DOES WHO NOTHING WILL REMAIN NOTHING AND WILL BE REMEMBERED AS NOTHING!

Nigeria is far greater than some bl''ody individuals who call themselves politicians
PoliticsIbori & Co: Pdp Thieving Chieftains.for The Records by ofala(op): 1:37pm On Nov 26, 2009
Recently we were all in a celebration mood when ONE BIG thief in the person of Mr. Olabode Goerge was convicted [though the sentence is too light for the kind of monies he stole] and Mr. Ibori who has been an apostle of Yar'adua for life presidency, a-la his fight with Mr Ribadu. Go through these factual records of severally conviction Mr. Ibori had in different courts on various crimes. We will all witness this coming revolution.

PoliticsOpen Invitation To All Well Meaning Nigerians by ofala(op): 12:27pm On Nov 26, 2009
Fellow Nigerians, the situations in our dear country Nigeria has gotten to a point where we all as Nigerians must act or else the country will be burnt and we will have no country to call our own.

Right from 1979 during the time General Olusegun Obasanjo came to power till date the country has not achieved anything, rather, those (The Elite) we entrusted with the governance and wealth of our beloved nation have stolen and destroyed everything our founding fathers laboured to put in place.

Nigeria has become a laughing stock amongst the international community due to the level of corruption in all sectors of our economy. Nothing is working in Nigeria and yet they -"our leaders"-talked about re-branding, with the slogan "Great nation, Good people", which to us is absolute nonsense.

Fellow Nigerians, the time has come for us to take action against corrupt Nigerian leaders. People talked about revolution, if it will be possible in Nigeria or not and some are scared about its consequences or after effects but today, Nigerians are determined to put an end to bad governance, bandits who masquerade as democrats. They are determined to stop corruption, police brutality, and extra-judicial killings in our society. Poverty is at an all-time high. Insecurity is the rule rather than the exception. To cap it all , the government of President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua is utterly clueless.

A movement has been formed by Concerned Nigerians in the Diaspora called "Nigeria Revolutionary Movement" in London, Spain, Italy,Holland, South Africa, Ghana and the United States.

The aim of this movement is to bring all corrupt office holders ( 1979 - present) from the Presidency to Local Government Chairmen to the people's court for judgment for the crimes they have committed against the Nigeria people.

Further details will be forwarded when you sign up for membership by simply sending in your name, age, profession, state of origin and a brief comment on what you think about the state of our Nation ( Nigeria), these details should be submitted to : sagencia@gmail.com

PoliticsRe: President Yar' Adua in Saudi-arabia Again ( update ) by ofala(m): 5:51pm On Nov 24, 2009
Cant Mr. Yar'Adua resign to fully take care of his ill health? I wonder when Nigeria will catch up with the world in terms of civility. It is very clear that the man is managing to live and he is combining it with the stress of being a serving President. Good luck to him!
PoliticsGov.obi Replies Soludo[part One] by ofala(op): 5:46pm On Nov 24, 2009
One good thing about democracy when handled well is that the two opposing sides can always have chance to start their position. Here is the first part of Governor Obi's reply to Soludo's alleged "prepare hand over note" statement.

PoliticsRe: Lets Talk About Ngige by ofala(m): 4:42pm On Nov 10, 2009
This is really strange. If Mr.Ngige is really a medical doctor and decended to the level he did with Chris Uba [ a bus stop tout] just because he wanted to be gorvenor, ANY RIGHT THINK PERSON WILL QUESTION NGIGE'S CHARACTER AND UPRIGHTNESS. If it is in another clan, Ngige is politically finished!
RomanceRe: What Matters Most To you In A Relationship? by ofala(m): 3:10pm On Nov 07, 2009
Many of the factors outlined are inter-related. But I think we should dwell more on compatibility. It has more of the considerations in it!

CultureRe: What Is It With Ibo Girls And Isiewu? by ofala(m): 6:41pm On Oct 31, 2009
@ Poster,

Its very obvious that people starts vomiting whenever they hear anything 'IBO'. Too bad for them, One advice, You are only retarding your success! Your inner self needs plain free space to push you to glory, I am proud of being an Ibo man!
CultureRe: What Is It With Ibo Girls And Isiewu? by ofala(m): 6:36pm On Oct 31, 2009
@Poster,

this is rather a generalization that is not just UNTRUE but senseless. You are so unfortunate, you haven't dated or seen responsible Igbo girls. You can as well grab the next prostitute from you domain and come in here to talk what you do not know about Igbo girls! Anybody who is your 'friend' can rightly or wrongly request for 'something'. It's not peculiar to Igbo girls!
PoliticsA Crictical Look At Anambra 2010 Election by ofala(op): 4:56pm On Oct 31, 2009
I write this not because it is new but because we seem not to be given it the right bite. Hence how can some politicians still think that they can repeat the destruction they did in Anambra state[ with OBJ's support] and go free. We are entering 2010 not 1999.

If you are an indigene of Anambra State [nay-] a Nigerian, who loves rule of law. I would be happy if you can contribute to this.

BusinessRe: I Will Transform Anambra Into Dubai - Soludo by ofala(m): 4:09pm On Oct 31, 2009
Prof. Soludo can easily belive he can transform Anambra state. But let us not forget so quickly that even though he could easily transform the banking system in Nigeria, what we are seeing today is not too-a-happy story! Chris and his brother Andy are definitely nearing their end in Anambra!
PoliticsRe: Bode George Is Sentenced To 2 Years! Not Enough! by ofala(m): 8:56pm On Oct 26, 2009
In my entire life, I am yet to see a group of people who are as SHAMELESS, WITHOUT ANY IOTA OF CONSCIENCE AND AS GREEDY AS those in PDP. Is it not time every Nigerian wherever he or she is right now, try to contribute to flush these thieves from our polity?
PoliticsRe: Bode George Is Sentenced To 2 Years! Not Enough! by ofala(m): 8:47pm On Oct 26, 2009
2 years is not enough! This kind of sentences calls for though because it does not deter other politicain who are busy stealing. If they know that they will spend a big chunk of their lives in jail if they are caught, i think they will at least steal with human face! Our judicial system needs to be re-visited. cry

If u read the first post very well, you will see that I mentioned an experience and that of some other guys i know and went further to ask if this could be true, what is your experience? Its important to note that I wasn't out to ridicule short girls.Ok? I believe some may be damned down-to-earth and lovely but lets be plain!
PoliticsRe: Anambra Politics;Andy Uba: The Desperate Politician! by ofala(op): 5:09pm On Oct 24, 2009
Anambra State is definitely BIGGER than OBJ and Andy Uba put together. You are even more right when you mentioned that Uba is just spending his ill-gotten money foolishly on legal bills!

PoliticsRe: 2011: "PDP Must Win Kano, Lagos’" by ofala(m): 2:09pm On Oct 24, 2009
So PDP as a political is so confident that despite the gross maltreatment of Nigerians and their opinions regarding how they are governed by PDP, that they will still rig themselves intact in Aso Rock come 2011? They should think about it very well before planning states they will rig too. I don't want to believe PDP will still be in ASO Rock after 2011 election. It's good they are giving of some signs of their "do or die " posture towards the forth coming general elections!
PoliticsRe: Ngige, Soludo Or Obi: Who Would You Choose As Your Candidate And Why? by ofala(m): 1:40pm On Oct 24, 2009
Mr. Peter Obi has to a very large extent redefined our governance should be[ especially as regards Anambra State]. He should be given a deserved second term.
