Affidavit has no special requirement or steps.
Walk into Ikeja high court, tell them you want to get an affidavit of support, it takes like 30minutes because they will have to print it out from their system and it goes for #700. They might ask you to show them some love, as someone that is aspiring to travel to Canada. So i best suggest you go with 2k. Because once they hear Canada, menh! they will call 2k.

You will need to go with your sponsor to the court as they would need his signature as the deponent. As i said earlier, go with 2k so you can get it done even without your sponspor escorting to the court, they will just indicate his name as the signature of the deponent.


Answer 2 -
Follow the advise of your bank officer, there is no way on earth you will transfer naira to dorm account. So go get the funds changed at BUREAU DE CHANGE and deposit it in your dorm account with your sponsor name as the depositor. While, your sponsor addresses this on his letter of sponsorship.

1. You can get affidavit for as low as #500.
2. You don't need to have the money in dollars, let your sponsor send the naira equivalent into your naira account then once you get your study permit you can take your admission letter and flight ticket to your bank and they will help you source for dollars at FG rate (which will benefit you). But if you want to source yourself now you will have to get it from aboki (black market) as your bank as your bank is not obliged to source for you now until your study permit is approved

I have gone through 70% of all the post on study VISA application for Canada. I will like to have your good advice base on my few profile:

Bsc Urban and Regional Planning 2008, GPA-4.2, works experience till date: 1 year in Business and logistics, 2 years in Spatial monitoring of Bts and location of Bts, 4 years experience in 3 different planning firms and also a managing partner to a new established one but we are yet to start using it to assign or get jobs. Married with 1 kid and all funds in wife accounts (5 million naira bank and 4 million treasure billing to mature March ending. 1 completed building in my wife's name and a land in my name and also another property for my late dad (all doc in my custody-building worth 20 million naira). I am applying to 4 skools and two of the courses are designed for 1 year but you can extend while the other are two years. My question is that since 90% of my funds is in my wife account, would she be my sponsor or I ask her transfer all the money back to me for the purpose? My other question is that all the four courses are good but considering my age of 36, would you advice I focus more on the 1 year program which is professional and other the two years program which is academics and professional for the skools I choose putting into consideration VO scrutinizing my intention?

And also how can i prove working experience of over 5years but i stopped working about a year plus now? my concern being that the mode of salary payment in the last place of employment was on cash basis. So please i will really appreciate if the gurus in the house can help me out.

Ps: Millybushy was denied TRV going for PGD, then restrategized and applied for a PHD and that did it. For those looking a way out of the PGD quagmire, there goes your clue.

After 2 PGD programmes, my spouse and children have tried visiting during my programmes but was denied.
I am tired of living without my family.

I have a 3yrs work permit running but my visa has expired. I want to renew my visa and if possible apply for them.
Please what do I apply for ?
1. Work permit for spouse +visiting my son+ Visiting for myself.
2. Visiting for all.
3.visiting for self and my son and later work permit for spouse.
4, PR straight for myself or for all .

My Son is 7 years old now.
If I am applying for my spouse, using the SWOP route: He has worked for 15years and just retired some months back but he newly registered his private business where he does sales and events. Has personal current account and savings.
About to open a company account.

Kindly advise and assist with the list of documents to be submitted plus any advise and tips will be well appreciated.
